Well…not sure if you know this or not but May 1st has been designated a “day of protest” where people are being asked to forego any economic activity in protest of the idiot trump and his destruction of this country…here in Michigan the protest centers on gas prices that have increased 70 cents a gallon this week due to the idiot’s stupid war against Iran…and the repubs are trying to gaslight the country saying that gas prices were 6 bucks a gallon under Biden when they averaged less than 3 bucks a gallon…so, I’m going to do my part and not go into any store or even buy anything online…just going to the library to pick up some more books since I ran out last night and then do household stuff…let’s make a point to the asshole repubs who have gotten us into this fix that there are more of us then them and they are going to pay this fall…geez…

Well…I guess we have a lunatic running for governor here in Michigan and I’m not happy with that…not sure if you’ve seen the ads for this moron, Perry Johnson, but they read like all of it crawled out of trump’s ass…starting with his promise to cut all income taxes and provide a tax cut of
4747 for all the people…yeah, I got that, too…how much more can you pander to the loser in the WH than to repeat his 47th presidency in your plans…now I’m not sure how this idiot will fund Michigan’s government with no tax revenue but he goes on and on with the old saw of “cutting waste” I guess just like doge did on the federal side that was shown to have COST money instead of saving it…but this delusional asshole goes on saying what ever damn repub has harped on for years that most government is “waste” and then cuts all the programs that help regular citizens…oh, and this idiot goes on to say that he supports ICE 100% and will give them all the cooperation they need to terrorize Michigan just like they did in Minnesota…something that no one in Michigan wants…I really do hope this delusional moron gets the repub nomination…it would be so easy to show people the modern face of the repub party in this distilled trump disciple…geez…

Well…it was announced this morning that the governor of Maine was stopping her campaign for senator of that state, lying it was for “financial reasons” when the truth is people have figured out she is just another corporate shill who has been vetoing all of the bills that would help the people of Maine…the latest being a moratorium on constructing new data centers for AI that use more energy than some towns and have caused water shortages across the country…and she ignored the studies that have found that there is no benefit to the towns and counties where they are located since a million square foot facility only needs about 4 people to run it…and all of the benefit and profit goes to the owners of these monstrosities…and, in areas that have these stupid data centers, electricity rates have exploded as they gobble up all the capacity in the system and use more water in one minute than a hundred houses use in a year…and they don’t pay to increase capacity of these resources, they just make them scarce so the price of both explodes, pricing residents out of the water and electricity they need to survive…so, it’s good she lost or we would have her bullshit, corporate favoritism on a countrywide scale…geez…

Well…we all know that the SC is filled with partisan hacks trying their best to give the repubs a permanent ruling majority even though 70% of the American people don’t want that at all…and yesterday, they drove the final nail in the coffin of the voting rights act that roberts has made his life work to destroy…and the asshole alito wrote for the majority that gerrymandering to take away minorities voting power is just fine with him…and he went on with roberts overriding theme that racism in the US is over even though hundreds of suits have been brought against repubs who only want white people to be able to vote…so now do you get why we need to take back the house and senate and win the WH in 2028? this is the most corrupt court in the history of the country and reform should be the first item on the dems agenda…take away robert’s power to put his thumb on the scale…after all, it was roberts ruling in citizens united that let billionaires buy elections and he has be dismantling out democracy ever since with his nakedly partisan rulings…expand the court or impeach this corrupt son of a bitch…geez…

Well…the repubs are heading for a record in low approval ratings according to a new poll out by Gallup this week…in the poll, only 10% of those surveyed approved of what the repubs in congress are doing…and 86% disapprove…let’s put that in context…the lowest approval rating for congress in history is 9% so it looks like they could break the record some time this summer as the war drags on and the idiot trump has lost the war with Iran…all Iran needs to do is wait out idiot boy since they know he is too stupid to have any ideas other than “hulk smash” and the US is running out of the weapons they have been using to kill children in Iran…one of the things that came out of the poll was that the maga idiots are against idiot boy because he is not doing enough to deport everyone who is not a white christian…but not because of the higher prices that are draining their bank accounts…nope, they are just fine with that if it hurts the “libtards” as much as it does them…and that right there shows that supporting idiot boy is a cult that has only visceral emotions to drive it…no thinking, no nothing other than hate…how’s that working out for you maga assholes? Well…after the kinda shooting that happened this weekend that sent tuxedo and ball gown clad reporters diving under tables, my question is: how do you feel reporters? How do you feel to experience what our children do every damn day in their classrooms? Is it serious now that you biased assholes are threatened? I can see the headlines now…thoughts and prayers go out to the people at the WHCD who were kinda threatened by a shooter that never got closer than 50 yards from them…but it was still the most traumatic thing that ever happened to them…how the hell do you think a 6 year old feels after an “active shooter drill” at their kindergarten? Or if an actual shooter invades their school and kills some of their friends? They will never get over it and it will scar them for life but it’s more important to keep the 2nd amendment crazies happy than protect our children…I live in the real world and have no delusions that anything will ever be done to stop the carnage in this country…and it’s the repubs to blame…geez…
Under the radar…
Well…this story kind of flew under the radar last week but it’s pretty important…last week, a judge ruled that the idiot trump can be held civilly responsible for what he did to incite the attacks on January 6th…and that got around the bogus immunity that the SC gave him since the judge ruled that idiot boy was campaigning and not performing his “official” duties…so that means the lawsuits from everyone involved who were damaged in the attack can go forward and estimates say that idiot boy is on the hook for billions of dollars…whether the SC will allow the suits to go forward is another matter since they do everything they can to protect the idiot all day, all the time…if they do go forward, I can’t wait for discovery to happen when trump and his cronies will have to turn over all evidence they have of his wrongdoing…and he is going to hate that…geez…
How can this be?
Well…after poll after poll shows that people hate repubs but hate the dems, too, and I wonder how this can be…I mean look at the parties and tell me that there is no difference between them…the repubs murder American citizens and steal everything that not nailed down while they start wars and cause huge inflation that is killing people while they try to take away your rights and healthcare…can you ever say that you’ve seen the dems do that? The national debt under the repubs has exploded to the tune of a trillion dollars a month from giving tax cuts to the rich while the average cut for the middle class is under 400 bucks a year. All of which has been eaten up by tariffs and higher gas prices…have you ever seen the dems do that? The dems protect people and try to make their lives better and move the country forward…every damn piece of legislation that has made the everyday American’s life better came from the dems…and yet people hate the dems…people in this country are either really stupid or have been taken in by repub propaganda since they own all of the media…I’ve had enough of this bullshit…geez…
They thought we’d play by the rules…
Well…it makes me feel good that the dems are finally growing a spine and are playing by the same rules as the repubs…over the years, the dems have made it their mission to make sure that the districts for congressional elections were fair…going as far as to pass laws that would have independent commissions draw the lines to make them as fair as possible…but that was only in blue states since the repubs sure as hell didn’t want fair districts since they would never win if they were fair…and over the past year, repubs across the country have done illegal gerrymandering to try to ensure they would have control of congress without winning it…it started in Texas, of course, when the idiot trump goaded the repubs there to rig the districts to try to keep the slim majority they had in the House…but, in a miracle, the dems said bullshit to that and started fighting fire with fire by doing their own gerrymandering in California that gave the dems 5 more seats, nullifying the shenanigans in red states…and they didn’t stop there, they just passed a law allowing gerrymandering in Virginia that is going to net the dems more seats…and the thing is that as the repubs dilute their voters, the dems even have a better chance to win…resulting in what wags called a “dummymander”…repubs shooting themselves in the foot as they try to cheat…I just hope this flashing of spine continues right up to and after the election…geez…
