Well….it has been a day and I made a little cash so that is good…but, I have been feeling kind of strange all day…my hands have looked like I have been swimming for hours with the puckered look on my finger tips that you get from it…and they feel like I have cleaned my oven with oven cleaner and no gloves…I think part of it is that I got severely dehydrated yesterday from a hard bike ride and never made up for it….have been trying to do better today and some of the lines on my hands are gone but all of my skin feels like I’ve been sunburned…I have been out a little but not sure if it’s enough to have that effect…probably just dying slowly…who knows?

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and it was cool to have the drags on in the background all day…slept kind of okay and had some weird dreams where the Miata was changing back and forth from a real car to a model and the headlights didn’t work…there were golf courses and T involved, too, kind of strange….didn’t even cook yesterday…just used up all the leftovers but today will be better, I hope….I didn’t get to the cleaning yesterday but I will today after resumes…..not much to do today….the normal stuff but I hope to accomplish at least a little since I was good last night and feel okay today…and that will continue all week….more later….

Well…another month starts and I’m not sure what to think about it…slept kind of crappy again last night but that is now normal so I guess I’ll stop bitching about it…it was an okay day yesterday with lots of races but I didn’t get much done…going to try to do better today but the drags from Indy are on live so I may just have another lost day…I am going to work out and get the bike ride in before the storms roll in and I do need to clean the kitchen and get rid of the spiders again….more later….

Well…almost got into the race tonight without doing this last one but, I remembered so you have to suffer through one more…it has been another wasted day and really quite depressing but that’s life I guess….I am going to break the rules and have a cocktail tonight so I think I’ll get to it…no more later…

Well…just had to pass this one along…out on the trail this morning, the legs were feeling great and I was moving along pretty well when I came up behind a group of the spandex crowd…a half dozen of them on my uphill sprint….and just blew by them at over 17mph….me on my beat to heck mountain bike and them on their thousands of dollars Treks….I am still laughing a little about that…and they were in their 30’s and me in my 60’s….made the rest of the ride even more fun….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got some stuff done so that was okay…slept crappy again so that wasn’t….and I am 4 behind for the month so I need to do 4 today so there will be some filler in there….I am so disappointed in Man U…drawing Burnley? What a crappy match…it is already so humid this morning that I am soaked and I haven’t even been on the bike yet…but will get out in a few minutes to see if there is any fog out there….not much to do today…going to just hang out and clean here but that is about it…more later….

Well…haven’t done a trail one in a while and today gave me a topic….when I was on the downhill from my last water stop, a group of about a dozen goldfinches took off out of the goldenrod and flew down the trail right in front of me….they were only about 4 feet in front and flew just in front of me for almost 50 yards…one of the coolest and weirdest things in quite a while….made me smile….more later…

Well…sitting here waiting for Man U to start playing…the match has been going on for 40 mins but they haven’t started playing at all yet…looks like another bad season for my team and I don’t like it…slept okay last night but no dreams to speak of….I did get going early today with the match starting at 7:45 and having to get out for groceries before that….and I do need to do three of these today so I will be looking for topics….will probably have to go back tot he papers for that…not much to do today…just stuff around here…oh, and I lost at pool yesterday so that makes it a month of losses…oh, well…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done….slept okay but I am still tired today and I know why….I did eat okay yesterday…still a little under on calories but I hope to do better today….not sure if I like the new earbuds…might have to try another pair and leave these to use with the phone…had to change the equalizer and that screws it up for using the player in the car….not much to do today…have to meet up with someone this morning and then out to pool this aft…then college football starts tonight so that will give me something to do…more later….

Well…have been trying to find a topic today that would mean something but without much luck…so, I thought I’d do an update instead…had the unpleasant surprise today when I was getting on the bike that my earbuds had failed with only the right one working…so, I had to go out and buy another set…I was glad I had made some money yesterday so I had the cash to get another pair of Sonys that are similar to the old ones…I did find that I can use these to activate my phone and they have a microphone built into the cord so I can use my phone hands free…and, they sound good, too…had to reset the equalizer to add a little bass and cut the high end since they are brighter but for only 15 bucks I guess I won’t bitch too much….more later…

Oh, one last thing…I got a free travel alarm clock with the purchase of the earbuds…priced at 5 bucks and maybe worth three…
