Well…since the congress is out of town, there is very little to talk about in politics so I thought I’d do an update on some ot the other stuff that has been happening…got the first ride in with the new shock on the bike and it appears to be okay…handles the large compressions well and once I got the spring set right, it just does what a shock is supposed to do…not sure how long it will last but I’ll enjoy it while it does work….I did get the new headlights for the car today…Euro spec e-codes that fit right in no hassle…only took a total of 5 mins to install both of them and they look pretty cool in contrast to the sealed beams that were in the Miata…can’t tell how bright they are going to be without driving at night so I may have to take it out after dark tonight to just see them….my first modification of the Miata and probably the last…want to keep it as close to stock as I can…it’s just right stock….more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I did get the new shock installed on the bike…not sure how long this one is going to last but for 8 bucks it doesn’t really matter…slept okay but have been up since 5:30 and with getting to sleep at 1, that’s just not enough…oh, well….I did have dreams with T in them but the outcomes were not good….I did get an hour in the sun yesterday and that is helping the ugly tan…I may help it even more with going to the beach later in the week…not sure….I am supposed to get the new headlights today and I will install them if they are here early enough…it should only take a few minutes per side and I can’t wait to see how they look…not much to do today…cleaning some and laundry but that is about it…more later….

Well….it was an okay day yesterday but nothing got done again and I am a little disappointed in that…slept crappy, too so I guess I’m 2 for 3…I did come back for a second one yesterday so I count that as a win….feel pretty good today since I was good last night and I hope to continue that for the entire week…at least until Friday…just checked with Fedex and my new headlights are going to be here tomorrow so I will have something to do…hope they’re not so bright that I get attention from the cops but with all of the different ones out there now, I don’t think that will be a problem…not much to do today…the normal stuff and maybe some more sun time in the aft…the biker’s tan is starting to even out but it’s going to take a while until it looks okay….more later…

Well…another night of no sleep but I feel better than I should so maybe I’ll stop bitching about it…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t accomplish much…didn’t really plan to do much so maybe that’s an accomplishment? I did get a nice long bike ride in and plan to do that again today and with no wind, it will be another good ride today…have been sore all over the past few weeks and I’m not sure what that is about…okay, need to take some ibuprofen before I go out and see if that helps…not much to do today…going to clean and fool around here but that is about it…and there are races on so that might be a small diversion….more later…,

Well…it’s been a day and it looks like the new equipment is going to work quite well…it’s been one of those days today where I have been recovering from yesterday and haven’t really done much…did make a little cash today so that was cool and I did get to lay out in the sun to continue to try to even out the bike tan but that was all of the ambition I’ve had….I did get the chance to see Man U play at the big house where they won and the crowd of 109,000 was a record for the US….okay, can’t really think of anything else to say so I won’t keep going….

Well…it was a long, long day yesterday and I lost at pool but that was okay…didn’t get home until 8:30 last night and with starting at 2:30 it just took everything out of me…so, I’m running slow this morning and I think that will be what the day looks like, too…slept crappy as ever and that might be part of it but it may be that I just need a day off of everything….the new equipment came yesterday and it is pretty cool but we’ll see how it works out over time…and, I got the notice that my new headlights have been shipped so I should get those early next week…not much to do today….Man U is playing at the Big House later in the day but that is about all I have planned…need to rest…more later…

Well….another month starts but I’m not as depressed as normal…maybe it’s because I have a little cash on hand? No matter, it’s just better…didn’t sleep much last night but that’s okay….I am starting to get used to it…had an okay day yesterday but didn’t accomplish much and today looks to be the same…I will get stuff done over the weekend so I can take today off….I did spend some cash this week for things I needed and even for one thing I just wanted…ordered the headlights for the car yesterday and I know I shouldn’t have spent the 50 bucks but I wanted them…going to try to not feel guilty about it but probably won’t have much success…it’s not like I drive a lot at night but having more light with my old eyes is a good thing….hope they’re not too bright…being European spec they shouldn’t be…not much to do today…pool, of course but not much else…going to finish the coffee and then get on the bike…more later…

Well…have gotten to he last one for the month and thought I’d just wander around a bit and see what happens…it was pretty cool to see two of the worst movies ever made back to back last night in “Sharknado” and “Sharknado 2″…..you’ve got to hand it to SciFi…they have embraced the schlock movie like no one else…and there is a new one Sat night that looks like a good one…might have to check it out…I find it funny that the repubs are now backpedaling so fast their shoes are smoking on the impeachment thing….they are just so stupid and are playing into the dems hands by even mentioning it…they could be a permanent minority party if the impeach the second dem president in a row…and after we gave ole W a pass for true high crimes and misdemeanors…I mean if torture isn’t a high crime, then what is? Okay, that should do it for the month…no more later…

Well…as I complained here last week, there has been a derelict Volvo being pushed around the lot here and last week it ended up right in front of my door…this morning, I had just had enough so I went up to the office and made an in person complaint….wow…they just came to tow the car away only a couple of hours after I bitched…I guess complaining works…sometimes…yeah, I know, this one is cheating some but I need to to keep up…one more to go….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and it was good to see C for a while….didn’t sleep that hot again and I think the successive nights of it are starting to combine into a general fatigue that I hope I can fix today with a  little nap….and I need to eat more good food to get the fuel level up….and I need to do two more of these to make the number for the month…I have been hoping that it would rain so I can take the day off the bike but no luck…the new equipment should be here today an that would be a good thing…can’t wait to feel how the new shock will work on the bike…it’s been bad for so long I hope I like how it works…not much to do today…going to take it easy and not do much….more later…I do have new towels to try today…I broke down and splurged yesterday and I’m not sure how I feel about that…
