Well…just changed the title of the last one from yesterday since I put January instead of December in it….will have to go back and see if I did that any other times…it was an okay but long day yesterday with having a nice lunch with T and then out with G for a few… T got me a really funky, cool, glass fish that I have on my table in the living room and that makes me smile….and I think I have figured out why G wants to argue all the time and now I may have to re-think the arguments….slept pretty crappy last night and that has left me worn out this morning…that, and that all I had to eat yesterday was a single enchilada at lunch…will have to fix that this morning or there won’t be enough fuel for the bike ride today….I am hoping that the rain breaks so I can put the top down on the way out and back from pool today…going to be over 60 so I am going back into shorts for the next couple of days….not much to do today…pool, of course, and cooking for lunch but that is about it…oh, my back seems to still be improving some but it does hurt a little so I’m still favoring it…more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but with all the rain, there was no bike ride and I think that is adding to my grumpiness….slept okay last night and feel okay today…the back is still sore but not as bad as it was Sunday…but, I am still anticipating the pain when I move and that has left me compensating for it and hurting other parts of it….just want it to go back to regular pain I’ve had since I was 16….I did make a little cash yesterday but burned it all on groceries this morning…should have enough food for the rest of the year now and I am making a pork shoulder for Friday…have to find a good rub for it…will probably just do kosher salt, olive oil and pepper…..oh, Space X finally landed their first stage booster last night…the people there were just going crazy and it was cool to see…not much to do today…the normal stuff and then maybe lunch with T and I am looking forward to that…..more later…
Well…sitting here waiting for the rain to end so I can get on the bike and that is making me grumpy….and, I can’t think of anything to write about and that’s not helping…thought about doing another one on the idiot repubs but even I’M getting bored with that….I could talk about Man U and how terrible they are playing with no wins in the last 6 matches and just the most lackluster performances….and now there is talk that VanGaal is on the way out…and that would be the second coach in three years….I’ve never liked his style and what he has made the club into…they do play better defense this year, though…okay need to run an errand….more later…
Well….it was an okay day yesterday and I did finally get a few things done…the carpet around the bike had gotten some grease on it so I had to clean all of that…the damn thing has been squeaking like crazy and no lube has helped….cleaning it with some simple green did and I think it may have been that there was sand and dirt in the swing arm bushing…slept okay last night and feel okay this morning but I am anticipating the back starting to hurt again soon..it is damn frustrating when it is so inconsistent and I never know what is going to make it hurt…sometimes it’s bending over, sometimes it’s sitting down…or standing up….you get it…and the weird thing is that it just stabs me with pain and then quits….oh, well….not much to do today…looks like I need to wait until after lunch for the bike ride and then there is soccer on later….going to take it a little easy on the back and see if that helps….more later….
Well…have been reading a little today and on subject kept popping up as I did…fear…and how scared people are about life in general like everything is out to get them. Whether it’s Islamic terrorists or everyday crime, I am shaking my head how people who are polled are so mistaken about the likelihood of being killed by terrorists or being the victim of crime….and the rates are not high…with regular crime at it’s lowest rate in history, the chances of being a victim is lower than ever…like one half the chance of being struck by lighting, and yet we have people arming themselves to the teeth since the fear mongers that profit by that fear have convinced us we are just one minute away from being in a Mad Max movie. On the terror front….the chance of being killed by a Muslim terrorist here in the states is almost unmeasurable yet the repubs shake in their boots and spread fear and more fear since it’s all they have…I, for one, am not afraid of terrorists at all….I’m more concerned with everyone carrying guns around me and the idiots who text and drive….you are much more likely to be killed by one of those idiots than by terrorists…so, everyone, get a frickin grip and stop being such a pussy….geez…
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done….didn’t even ride the bike since it was so cold and windy…slept okay and feel okay today but a little worn out…my back is confusing me some since it doesn’t hurt when I get up but then gets progressively worse as the day goes on….weird….but, the neck pain is gone so that is something….it looks like I’ll have to wait a while to get on the bike today since it is only 22 right now and I want it to be in the thirties at least before I go out….okay, this one is going to be short…just not feeling it right now and need more coffee….more later…
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I even got a few things done….slept okay but lost an earplug and I can’t find it anywhere…that is just weird and I’m a little perplexed….no dreams to speak of and that’s okay….my back hasn’t hurt a bit today yet and I am just waiting for it to start….it is just crappy anticipating the pain that I know is going to come later today….I did get a bike ride in but I am going to skip today with the snow and Ice that I know will be on the trail….I can use the rest and just don’t want to be cold today…or maybe I’ll wait until this aft…it’s only supposed to get to the low 30′s so that won’t help get the ice melted….tomorrow will be warmer so maybe I’ll wait til then…..not much to do today…going to clean but first I’m going to be disappointed with watching Man U lose again..cripes they are getting to be the Lions…more later….
Well…as you know, I have the long-running thing going where I report when I identify a band using the Hammond B-3 organ….it seems that almost all of the bands I still listen to use one and today I heard one in “Cry Baby” from the “Pearl” album by Janis Joplin. Yeah, I still call it an album…that makes me really old but I’m okay with that….more to come….
Well…I did get out on the bike today even though it was only about 30….and I saw the weirdest thing that I can’t remember ever seeing before….just as I was hitting the trail it started to snow but instead of just hitting the ground and sticking like they normally do, when these flakes hit the ground they exploded into tiny, dust-like particles and blew away in the wind. Now, I’ve been around a long time but the world and the weather still make me grin at times….and never ceases to surprise me….pretty cool…
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done…again….and I will try to make today different…how much different, I don’t know….running late again, too, for some reason and I didn’t even shower this morning…yet….just can’t get started even with the second cup of coffee….sitting here, I was hoping that the back pain had subsided with all of the cracking it did yesterday but then I moved and it hasn’t…darn….feel okay, though, so that is something….not sure what, but something…haven’t had to put the snowies on the car yet and it looks like I won’t have to until late next week….I do need to take advantage of the warm temps to get that done….had them on the first week of November last year and I am pretty happy that there hasn’t been any snow yet this year….it is cold today, though, an that will make for full thermasuit if I decide to take a bike ride today…have been out with it as cold as 19 degrees but that is pushing it…not much to do today….just going to clean since the spiders are in the bathroom again and the kitchen looks like an abandoned house…more later…
