Well….only about halfway through race day and I am starting to get bored a little so I thought I’d come here and noodle around for a bit…I am still pretty geeked that my car started fine this morning after sitting for three days unused…that’s the first time that has happened since I put the new battery in it last fall…I even had my battery booster box all charged up and ready to go if it didn’t…I did get out on the bike for a nice ride at 7 this morning and I remembered to have coffee first and can’t believe the difference that made…lots of sprints and sweat that felt good…and the bike is still working perfectly, too…now that I think of it, everything I use every day is working great including the phone…weird….it’s already up to 90 outside getting to 93 or so today but it is still comfortable in here at about 76 degrees….no air until later if it gets too warm…okay, part of the boredom is trying to multitask and I need to stop that..so, I will…more later?

May 27th
Well…running quite early today with getting ready for the biggest race day of the year…starting at 9 we have Monaco, Indy, and the Coke 600 to watch today so there will be racing and napping all day…slept okay last night and had some good news already today…let the car sit without starting it with the battery connected since Thursday morning and it fired right up today so I guess it was the battery last fall after all….and now the car is back to normal and that feels good…didn’t get anything done yesterday and with today being race day, I won’t get much done today, either….and that’s okay since I really don’t have much to do….I am going to get the bike ride in before the 9 am start of Monaco and I am getting some coffee down today before I go…I didn’t yesterday and it was torture on the bike without it….more later…
May 26th
Well…sitting here waiting for the rain to stop so I can get out on the bike before F1 qualifying…but, that is not looking good since it starts at 9 and it is already 7:24….slept okay last night but feel a little slow today and I hope that the bike ride will help with that…I do need to take some ibuprofen right now since my hands cramped up like crazy on the ride yesterday….didn’t get a lot done yesterday and probably won’t today, either….just haven’t been motivated lately and that’s okay….I am going to make some tacos today but I’m not sure for lunch or dinner….I think I’ve had too much beef lately and it’s hurting my digestion…okay, need to get on the bike…more later….

Well…have been working harder than normal today trying to find a topic that gets my attention…but, you do get to a point where you just have to say I give….it’s 87 degrees outside and it should mean it would be a little uncomfortable but it really isn’t…there is a nice breeze blowing so that helps….okay, lets try this…idiot boy trump has been blowing his mouth off about a “spy” that was supposedly placed in his campaign to influence it…and it was all Obama’s and Comey’s fault….but, yesterday, after the “evidence” was shown to congress, it was all shown to be a big nothingburger….and what I think the crux of the whole thing is that trump is so damn dumb he doesn’t understand what a counter intelligence operation is…there were increasing red flags that were popping up in intelligence intercepts (something that happens every day) that the Russians were trying to help trump get elected, so what were they supposed to do? Just let the Russians attack us without doing something about it? So, again, the idiot trump’s ignorance of how anything works is turned into a “scandal” that wastes more of the country’s time and money…and the repubs do nothing…still….impeach…hey, I guess I did have a topic…cool…
May 25th
Well…running on time today but feel a little slow so I think I’ll ease into the day and have more coffee….slept okay last night but was up and down all night and that doesn’t help….but, I think I ate enough yesterday so I guess that’s something…didn’t get much done yesterday but groceries and the bike ride and today looks the same…it was nice that the temp was up over 80 and it is going to be almost 90 today…still not going to use the air since I have been waiting for this since last year and I love the warmth….it is warm enough to get out on the bike in a t-shirt as soon as I want and I have been waiting for that, too…I think I bought too much food yesterday and I don’t have any storage space left here…I guess the 80 bucks I spent was a little much….I think I need to clean some today but I’m not sure if I’ll do it again….more later….
1,000 miles on the new bike…
Well…reached the first milestone on the new bike when the odo turned over to 1,000 miles today….this same milestone took me almost a year on the Motobecane but I’ve only had the new one for 3 months so that’s a pretty good pace…with the chain skipping having fixed itself, and finally getting settled on it, it is so much fun to ride that I think I’m going to start doing morning and afternoon runs to double up…but, a big part of that is just the boredom that permeates my days…need to find something more to do that doesn’t cost much…well, I can afford to do a few things but none of them are too interesting so I guess that all works out….
The idiot in chief strikes again…
Well…..I am laughing my ass off this morning with the news that the idiot boy trump has cancelled the meeting with North Korea since they made some statements that hurt his feelings. Now, who didn’t see this coming? After agreeing to the meeting on a whim, trump gave Kim just what he wanted…recognition as an equal on the world stage, and the screeching that Bolton did that NK was going to have to give up it’s entire nuclear program before we even talk to them was never going to happen…without it, Kim is nothing and he knows it…so why would he give it up? With normal diplomacy, what each side is going to agree to is hashed out far in advance by state department staffers but, with how trump has gutted state, there is no one to do that work anymore…and trump doesn’t think that work even needs to be done he is such a “great dealmaker”. You’ll want to read the letter idiot boy sent to NK cancelling the meeting….I’ve never seen a more childish piece of crap in my life….and that means trump had a hand in writing it…sounds like a really stupid person trying to sound smart….cripes….impeach…
May 24th
Well…running a little late today with doing the grocery run…spent almost 80 bucks and that opened my eyes a little since I really didn’t get anything out of the ordinary…I did get 4 ears of corn for 50 cents so that was cool…slept okay last night and didn’t get up until 6:35 so that put me a little late for everything this morning….but, I really don’t have much to do but ride the bike today so I guess that’s okay….I’ve left the battery in the car connected for the past week and it has started every time so maybe it’s fixed itself? We’ll see Sunday since I won’t be driving it again until then….I do have to take some ibuprofen before the bike ride today…I am a little sore everywhere and I think that might help to prevent it getting worse…not much to do today…going to make an olive burger for lunch and then I have to clean the fridge but that is about it….more later….

Well…just read that the NK/US summit is off with the blundering, blustering idiot now trying to blame China for his stupidity….we all knew this was going to happen with the idiot in chief and the other morons that he’s surrounded himself with, and the fact that they think diplomacy is all threats…and they feel that everyone in the world is scared of us so all they have to do is make threats to get what we want. What an ocean of stupidity these folks are….and the idiot in chief wasn’t going to prepare for the summit anyway…leaks from the WH said that trump refused any sort of briefings…saying that that stuff is not important…it’s the pageantry that he is most concerned about…like he thinks this is just another tv show that he is on. How much worse are you going to let this get, repubs? How much longer before you grow a damn spine and get rid of this cadre of idiots? Yeah, probably not until after the election…impeach….
May 23rd
Well…woke up early today but I’m not sure if 6 is early anymore…slept okay last night and I am just easing into the day with coffee and a little old school tv….finally ate enough yesterday…I think….my stomach has been good so far and I hope it continues…I am tired of heartburn….I did get a nice bike ride in yesterday and the fog is pretty thick right now…I hope it stays until I can get on the bike in a little while…I’m not too motivated to get out right now and I hope the coffee helps with that…didn’t get anything done yesterday but really didn’t have anything to do….I think I’ll clean the fridge today if I can get moving but I need more coffee and to read the news some first,,,,,more later….
