Well…for the first time in history, the Moody’s rating service has downgraded US debt and it’s all because of the idiot in chief and his stupid tariffs along with his mismanagement of the entire economy…this is going to cost the US hundreds of billions of dollars in higher borrowing costs…so now we’ll have less money to take care of the people in the US…how many schools won’t be built, how many people won’t be fed, how many people will die without healthcare? This is all unnecessary but it is also part of the attack on the people of this country by the repubs since they just hate you and me and causing pain while they smirk about it is the only thing they care about anymore…and you know when we take back the WH, our side will clean up the repubs mess…again, as we always do…stupid maga people did this to us…and I hate them with the fire of a million suns…

May 17th
Well…up at 4:42 this morning but I was able to get back to sleep until almost 6 but sure don’t feel like I slept at all…I really do need to order some allergy meds today since I feel like crap this morning and my eyes are full of crap…will need to wash them with baby shampoo here in a minute to try to fix that…it’s damn cold out there at 52 degrees and that is almost cold enough to have to wear full gloves when I go out by 7am…it stormed here last night and it was supposed to rain this morning but I checked the radar and it’s moved out to the north…the 38 mile days are wearing me out so I may just do two rides today to give myself a recovery day…went over a thousand miles outdoors yesterday and still have no goals for the year and I don’t mind that…need to get two rides in before 10am when F1 qualifying is on but if I get started by 7, that should be easy..I do need to find time to clean the kitchen today since the microwave is getting pretty bad and my stainless steel prep table needs work, too…along with the sinks and countertops…I did get 4 more books yesterday and got through half of the first one and it feels good to have three more to read…not much to do today…just the rides and cleaning and races…I did cut up a sprouted potato and planted it in the old garden yesterday just for the fun of it…there have been two bean plants that have come up there but nothing else…oh, well…more later…
Elon is the fraud…
Well…as the idiot trump and his cronies keep bleating that there is “fraud” in 40% of the calls going into SS…a number they just pulled out of their asses and continue to treat as fact, a new study using facts instead of asses found that of 110,000 calls made to SS, only two MIGHT have been fraudulent…and that is 1.8 10 thousandths of a percent…so no, there is no damn fraud going on there other than elon lying his ass off…or being a “fraud” whenever he talks about anything…he said at one point that his doge stooges had saved hundreds of billions of dollars when an outside inspector checked his math and it found maybe 2 billion dollars in saving…or less than 5% of what he was claiming…and you know why they are lying about SS…it’s been the repub reason for being to eliminate anything that benefits ordinary Americans…and their goal is to make life worse in every way for all Americans except for the rich…and that shows in the fact that they want to do away with Medicaid and give that tax money directly to the billionaires by cutting their taxes…that is what we all have to remember in 26…the repubs just hate us…there is no other way to explain their behavior…geez…

Well…have three rides in and made a trip to the library so now it’s time to do one of these…I am so surprised that there weren’t branches all over the yard after getting 80 mph gusts last night…the wind did take the cover off the old Miata but it was hooked on the hardtop mounting bolts so it stayed with the car…a huge oak tree went down to the west of here and took down some power poles and lines and the huge tent they set up for an event at the boys and girls club collapsed so they’ll have to salvage that today…I did just cut up a sprouted potato that I’m going to plant in the old garden to see if they will grow…and I need to put the cover back on the car after it dries out…then I do need to clean the kitchen and get things put away before I can start a new book…and I need to find a political topic…more later…
May 16th
Well…finally, we had a big storm come through here last night with lots of rain, wind blowing 50-60 mph and gusts to 80..but I didn’t lose any branches off the trees so that’s cool…almost lost the cover from the old car and will need to take it off and lay it out to dry before I put it back on…have about a half hour before I need to get outdoors on the bike and that will make another 7am ride…need to get three rides in early so I can hit the library and get more books… hope to be done by 10:30 or so…or maybe I’ll just do two rides then library then back out after lunch…I guess we’ll see…have to order some more allergy meds today since I am miserable right now and it’s only going to get worse with the rain yesterday…going to get cold tomorrow and Sunday with highs in the 50’s…it looks calm out there with no wind so that will make for good rides today…pretty darn sore today in places that are new and that sucks…I wonder if I should take some ibuprofen before I get on the bike? Haven’t taken any for a long time so I can tolerate it…still haven’t figured out what I need to do today other than riding and cooking but I wonder if that is enough? More later…
Busy morning…
Well…it was a pretty darn busy morning today with getting three rides in again for 38 miles and mowing the lawn…even moved the old Miata to mow under it and I need to get it cleaned up and listed for sale…it fired right up no problem…but the stark difference in the interior to the new one made me laugh a bit…need to try to post a photo of it but I’m not putting my phone number in the ad…just want to deal with it using e-mail so I don’t have to answer the phone…I did finish the final book a few minutes ago so I’ll go to the library tomorrow and get more but I need to get three rides in first…the only good thing about getting out of bed so early was being able to get on the bike by 7am…I’m laughing a bit with the forecast of strong storms tonight starting around 8 but I’ll believe that when I see it…probably should get everything on the chargers just in case we lose power…okay, need to read some news…

Well…are every damn one of the idiot trump’s minion stupid? It sure looks that way with SoS marco rubio lying about how far talks had advanced between Pakistan and India saying the the talks had been “substantial”…and it was so bad that less than an hour aft lil marco opened his mouth, India had a statement out saying he was dead wrong and no talks were going on at all..and we know why marco lied…to get in good with idiot boy by pumping up his ego that he is a “master negotiator” when he is nothing of the sort…and now the US is further damaged by these incompetents thrashing around on the world stage and they are going to just stop talking to us at all since these dolts make everything worse they touch…and the world is recognizing that fact and will keep us at arms length from now on…nice job, maga…geez…
May 15th
Well…up at 4am again today and out of bed by 5:15 and that always reminds me of the Who song from Quadrophenia….it’s warm enough to go out on the bike as soon as it gets light but it’s still before 6 so I have some time before that needs to happen…so I’m going to sit here and have coffee and hope it jump starts me…I have my fingers crossed that we get some rain later today or I’m going to lose the lawn for the second year in a row…it’s going to be almost 90 here today but then the temps crash down to only 57 Sat but that’s the normal weird weather we have out here…got 38 miles in yesterday and I’m going to try to do that again today to keep my weight under control…it looks like I won’t get the last book read until later today so then I can go and get more but I’m not sure if I’ll go this aft or not…I do need to pay the insurance bill for the car today and I think I’ll ride over to the post office to get it on it’s way…not much to do today…need to get the kitchen windows cleaned and figure out meals for the rest of the week…think I’m going to make some bean burritos since I bought way too many tomatoes and I have a head of lettuce that needs to be used but I can’t taste anything so I’m not sure why I’m eating anything…more later….

Well…even some of the maga faithful are even saying that idiot boy accepting a 400 million dollar aircraft from Qatar is the bribe that it looks like, but never fear, the AG Pam Bondi…you remember her…(you know when she was AG of Florida she took a 30,000 dollar bribe from trump to drop Florida’s lawsuit against trump university)…so she really knows bribes has said that it is perfectly fine since the plane is not going to be in trump’s name…and of course that means that the 5.5 billion dollar bribe of a new trump golf course in Qatar is just peachy keen, too…at least Chuck Schumer has roused himself enough to put a hold on all of idiot boy’s justice department appointments until they do some explaining…but then he will fold like he always does…is it any wonder that the rank and file dems want someone else in the minority leaders job? Geez…
May 14th
Well…that was a little better…not out of bed til 6:20 today and that breaks the string of waking up at 4 or 5am but I’m not sure if I feel any better from it…I think we’re into over a month without any rain out here and it looks like I’m going to lose the lawn for another year and that sucks…and the bucket garden is not working…the tomatoes came up but then just stopped growing so that’s a bust…oh, well…need to run an errand to pick up a prescription this morning or I could probably wait til tomorrow since I have one more BP med left so that gives me the option…but I still need to get on the bike by 7:30 to get the day started and will still do an indoor ride or I could go outdoors right now since it’s 63 degrees already and that’s plenty warm enough to go out…it’s supposed to be nearly 90 tomorrow and then falling to around 60 next week and I just want it to rain…I think I will just go out for two rides today and keep it to a 25 mile day…but I need more coffee first…I’ve ridden indoors every day so far this year and this will be new to not go down there this morning…I do need to get after the windows and I’m going to try to do the kitchen today…but the operative word is try…more later…
