Well…with my daughter coming to stay for two weeks on the 22nd of the month, I really did need to get started on the big jobs that I have been letting go lately…so I did today with cleaning the dining room, mopping the floor and then putting two coats of wax on it…looks pretty good for an 82 year old wood floor and I really need to keep up on it…need to do the same on the other exposed wood in the living room and I think I have enough wax to do two coats on it since it’s not a very big area….need to start on the kitchen tomorrow since she is bringing me newish pots, pans, dishes, glassware, and silverware so I need to get the old stuff out before that and then clean the insides of the cupboards since I haven’t done them since I finished them over a year ago…the mattress she ordered for her bed came today and the metal box spring will be here in the next week or so and I’ll have to assemble that…we did get the zoom problems ironed out and when I was talking to her, I held my tablet up and showed her the house which was fun….this will be the second night of no cocktails and I feel pretty good so I’m keeping that up til after the surgery…but that means that watching the new shows tonight won’t be as much fun…oh, well…
