Well…darn, the plan for today was just to watch the F1 race and then Man U, then make some potato soup…but when I checked the whole milk, it had already gone bad so I had to change the recipe to add a Russet potato to thicken it up along with the yellow ones…but when I made the roux and added two cups of skim milk, it thickened up nicely and I couldn’t taste the difference…what was different was adding some apple bratwurst that I had in the freezer and that really made a unique taste that I liked…I really was going to not ride the bike but I had time between the F1 race and Man U so I went down and got the first one in…and right after the Man U match was over, I went back down for the second ride…so I kept the guilts at bay and even went out to shovel the snow and salt the walks….so it was kind of a busy day and not what I had expected…so now it’s almost 7 and I am done for the day..back to political ones tomorrow…
