Well…okay, going to go on a little rant right now and it might not be pretty…got everything done early today so I could hit the library for more books but the place was closed for good Friday and I am so tired of religion followed by less than half the people in this country dictating to the rest of us…as you know, I don’t celebrate any religious holidays since I’m a big ole atheist and don’t suffer the delusions of the religious…and let’s be blunt…the easter story that they are celebrating this weekend was cribbed from a story from India that was told 1,500 years before jesus as was much of the supposedly “divinely written” bible…and that’s the thing about religion, they expect you to take their holy book as truth when much of it was written by ignorant goat herders who took things that now can be explained by science and made them into their religions…I really do hate the purposely ignorant people who think their “faith” should have the same weight as facts and then tries to force their beliefs down everyone’s throats…and don’t get me started about the second class status they want to impose on women who are seen as things to be used by men with no thought that they should have equal rights…religion is evil and the sooner it is gone the better…geez…
