Well…it was kind of a disjointed day today when the threat of a storm with lightning stopped me after the first ride as I waited it out…after a while all of the clouds went away so I put the top down on the car and went to the library to get more books and when I got back here I got right back on the bike for a 2nd ride…when I was sitting at my water stop on the boardwalk, a black Miata pulled into the beach and parked and, as I was leaving I yelled down to the guy that he had a nice car and I had one, too…his was all black with a 5 speed and a 2009 that only had 28K miles on it…after that I rode home and since I was going to the beach anyway, I pulled in next to him and we sat there and talked about the cars…kinda fun and we had a mini Miata rally and I have a photo of both cars sitting together…then I went swimming for a bit and got scorched even with 50 sunscreen on so I decided that was the last time to the beach til next week…and with tomorrow being a holiday, it is going to be too busy out there…but, If I could get out there right after the rides around 9am or so, it wouldn’t be so bad…but we’ll se what my skin says in the morning…it’s supposed to rain but I’ll believe it when I see it…the rain has been missing us to the north all day and it appears that is going to continue…oh, well…
