Well…I just had to comment on the screed that ole Mike delivered to the Iowa right to force birth the other day…this guy is so far out there now that he compared the legal medical procedure of abortion that women choose to the Holocaust…I’m pretty sure that the Jews that were killed didn’t choose to be killed….and while this is the usual nonsense that runs through the crazy forced religion right that we hear all the time…ole Mike stepped it up in the next breath by being proud that he sent 16 times more people to be executed than any other governor of Kansas…I think it was Kansas anyway….but the utter nonsense he spewed is trumped by the whole idea behind the speech…that it is perfectly fine for the government to intervene in womens lives to stop abortion…but it is the worst thing in the world for government to try to make affordable healthcare available to it’s citizens…just another typical repub doing what they do…advocating using the government to take away freedom from people to further their crazy assed political or religious ends….geez…

These crazy bastards and their continuing war on women…
Well…my jaw just dropped this morning when I read of the latest gambit by the women haters in the repub party who are still trying to intrude into women’s rights…this one is one of the most egregious, terrible things I have ever heard…a legislator in New Mexico, a woman repub even, just introduced a bill that would force a woman that had been raped and impregnated to carry the baby until after the trial making it a felony to have an abortion under the guise of “tampering with evidence”. How much more terrible can this be for a woman that has just suffered the trauma of rape to then be threatened with a jail sentence for ending a pregnancy that resulted from it? How can these folks sleep at night? I am speechless that this kind of thing can happen in 2013 in America…why aren’t women across New Mexico lining up for a recall for this batshit crazy legislator? I have had it with the repub party wasting the time of all Americans with this nonsense…stop injecting yourselves into our personal lives and get to work on the things that people want you to work on…or just go the hell home….geez…
Troglodyte Republicans rule in Michigan…
Well….if you needed a reason to believe that the repubs running this state are troglodytes from another era, you just need to hear what happened yesterday in the House here in Michigan. While there was a debate going on over putting onerous new restrictions on women’s freedom by restricting access to abortion, one of the female house members got up to speak and used the word “vagina” in telling them to keep their hands off her health….well…after this happened, two of the women that opposed these new restrictions and had spoken out against them were not allowed to speak on other bills that were pending in the House….silenced because they opposed the majority and dared to speak out against them…I shouldn’t really be surprised with the way that the repubs here govern…like they don’t have to follow the rules and will use any tactic to make sure the opposition has no voice…from the restrictions put on voting rights to this latest outrage the repubs here show every day that they don’t care about democracy, just the naked exercise of power to ensure their extreme right wing agenda gets jammed down out throats…geez…
