Well…almost as predictable as the sun rising, the hard right, pushed by the NRA is smearing the kids who survived the shooting in Parkland Florida, calling them “FBI plants” and rolling out the right’s perennial bugaboo, George Soros, as being behind the student protests. No, assholes…these are teenagers who have had enough, who look to the adults in this country to protect them, and all they see is the repubs saying there is nothing that can be done, that dead children are the price we pay for “freedom”. I understand how they feel…not from a school shooting when I was young, but we did walk out at my high school to protest the Vietnam war and the lies that started it and continued it…and the same tactics were used against us that are being used now…calling us communists and un-patriotic while we were just trying to stop something we knew was wrong. Just like the Parkland kids. The knuckle dragging, NRA funded gun fetishists on the right are trying to use the fact that these kids are organized and putting together protests so quickly that it must be a left wing plot, that no group of teenagers could do what they’ve done in the past few days…hey, knuckle draggers…do you know any modern teenagers? With how social media is ingrained into their lives, they know how to use it to organize…I mean, I even set up my Facebook page in less than 5 minutes, and I’m an old guy. It is imperative that those of us on the right side of this issue, those of us who support these kids trying to finally DO something about children being murdered have their backs, and to push back on these right wing assholes who would smear and denigrate their efforts…go get ‘em Parkland!

February 20th
Well…running a little early today and it’s just from not sleeping and then getting up early today….so that makes me a little worn out this morning…I was good last night so that can’t be part of it…oh, I did win at pool yesterday…and it was just nice to get out of here for a while…didn’t get the top down with all of the rain and, even though it’s already 57 degrees outside, it looks like I won’t get it down today either…but, the rain means that the trail will be clear tomorrow so I’ll be back on the bike and I will be able to get back to eating two meals a day with burning calories on the bike…and this week will be the next to last on the Schwinn since I am ordering the new bike Sunday….can’t wait to get the new one with full suspension to help my back….didn’t get a lot done yesterday but I will have to do some work today to not feel guilty….more later….
Trump is just unhinged…
Well….as every day goes on, it gets clearer and clearer that the idiot trump is unhinged and divorced from reality. After the indictments that were released for 13 Russians and two Russian companies for throwing the election to trump, the idiot boy went into full meltdown mode, trying to reassure himself in tweets that, because he wasn’t indicted in this round, that there was not going to be one for him…something that anyone who has even one foot in reality knows is just not true…this is the first round of indictments, and I’m sure that Mueller released them now to insulate himself from being fired, and to make it completely clear that if trump tries it, he is doing the bidding of Putin…something he has been doing since he was installed. The second shoe that dropped over the weekend that fed into trumps madness was the announcement that Rick Gates (Paul Manafort’s business partner and trump campaign manager), is going to plead guilty and is going to help Mueller build his case…this is in addition to Mueller loading bank fraud charges onto Manafort to up the pressure on Manafort to flip. So, we know why the meltdown happened….and to rub salt into his wounds, the survivors of the Parkland school shooting have refused to meet with trump and be used for a photo op….that must just burn the idiot and I wholeheartedly agree with them….what’s the point of meeting with the idiot? He’ll just give a thumbs up and make it all about him…impeach….
February 19th
Well…didn’t come back for a second one yesterday, as you can see, and it was just because I was giving my brain a rest day…with everything going on, I just needed to not think about anything…slept okay last night and even had a short term dream that I really don’t remember…my heel is finally not hurting anymore and I think that will help my back as I get back to walking normally…..I am closing in on ordering the new bike this week and the weather looks like I may even be able to get out on the old one before that…going to be 50 today and 60 tomorrow with lots of rain so that may clean the trails enough to get out…and, I really do need that….not much to do today…not going to even attempt to clean but I may start taking the old bike apart to make room for the new one….more later….
February 18th
Well…running a little late today and I almost forgot to come here and do this one…but, there was a nagging that something needed to be done and I finally remembered…slept okay last night but still feel a little slow today and I know why…wasn’t good last night and I don’t feel one bit guilty about it….I am getting bored with the Olympics and I’m not sure why….and, I did see an article this morning that said the same thing so maybe there is something to it…didn’t get much done yesterday but I did do the bathroom and today I should do the kitchen and I just might…but, maybe not….my back is hurting again and that’s a little irritating…okay, need to have more coffee and read some news….more later….
six frickin minutes….
Well…I know, I promised to not do another one on the idiot over the weekend but I just had to comment on the hospital visit the moron did yesterday on the way to another golf weekend….and yes, it only lasted 6 minutes including the walk from his limo and back…so really, he was in the hospital for around 3 minutes to get the photo op that the repubs are so good (bad) at…just like Paul Ryan washing clean dishes at a homeless shelter, the idiot trump basically walked in one door and out another while trying to praise the staffers at the hospital where many of the injured were being treated…and failing spectacularly at that….the feeling of the community was conveyed succinctly by some of the students in Parkland who tweeted “just stay the hell away from us”…a sentiment that is shared by most of us here in the US…just stay the hell away from us….and go golf…geez…
February 17th
Well…running a little late today with getting up a little late…don’t consider it sleeping in unless the time that I get up surprises me on how late it is….and, it was only 7:16 so that doesn’t qualify…feel a little slow today but it is a good slow that means I had a nice night last night…and the coffee hasn’t started to work yet so I guess I’ll just sit here and wait for it….it was a nice day yesterday but I didn’t get a lot done…I did get out to run an errand but that was about it for the day…I am going to clean today before Man U comes on at 12:30 but I am not really enthused about that…might just wait until tomorrow…or maybe not, who knows? My back is back to hurting again and I was hoping that it would relax overnight but no luck….it’s not too bad so I guess I can live with it….not much to do today….just going to ease into the day by watching some FA cup soccer and some Olympics…more later….

Well…yeah, I know, too much of the idiot trump over the past few days but damn, it’s such an easy target that I have to do just one more today…won’t promise that this will be the last one for the week but, I’ll try to cleanse my karma over the weekend by not doing more on the moron. So, donnie, what about this latest cheating on your wife with a Playboy bunny? Yeah, I can’t even imagine anyone wanting to sleep with the obese idiot..let alone have an affair with him…that reaches to the top level of my ick meter and mine goes to 11. I wonder if it will ever come out that this was all caused by Obama? I’m sure that will be idiot boy’s response this weekend…oh, one last thing…I wonder when donnie will get on placing the sanctions on Russia that he is required to do for them meddling in our elections? And, I wonder when the rest of the repubs are going to stop supporting this poor excuse for a person? Yeah…never….impeach…
Can’t call it a “hoax” anymore, donnie…
Well…just finished watching the announcement of new indictments in the Russia conspiracy where 13 Russians were charged with interfering in the US election process…starting in 2014. So, donnie, you can’t call the Russian meddling a “hoax” anymore and, as more info comes out, it will surely be proven that it was all done to get you elected since you and your cronies are the stupidest group that has ever sat in the WH…and the most easily manipulated “president in the history of the country. What are you going to say to Putin now? Since you continue to trust Putin’s denials more than your own justice department, will you still continue to cover his ass and do his work for him? The media needs to latch onto this one and understand that this is just the first set of indictments and the idea that Rosenstein dropped that the trump campaign was only an unwitting participant will be seen as the lie that it is….there are going to be many, many more indictments since Mueller is just now flipping Manafort’s buddy, Rick Gates, and is offering him a plea deal…and, let’s not forget that Steve Bannon talked to Mueller’s group for hours this week and that information was not used in today’s indictments. I just can’t wait for the idiot trump to try to spin this one on twitter this weekend…after all, he is golfing, again, and we all know that is when he goes berserk….impeach,,,
This is funny…
Well…not sure if I mentioned that I’ve been trying to repair my credit after paying cash for everything for the past 15 years…the goal being that I want to buy a house later in the year….and I think it may be working since I got my first unsolicited credit card in the mail today. I find it kind of funny that all it took to have banks want to give me a card was three months of paying off my card completely and on time….and that’s pretty cool…I think….oh, and they just upped my internet speed to 25meg for free…and that is cool….
