Well….just got back from the bike ride and noticed I’ve gotten to 840 miles as of today…and with the 161 miles I put on the old bike, that makes 1,000 miles already this year…and that is the fastest to that mark ever….I think I beat the next fastest one by a couple of weeks…and another thing happened while I was out today that is pretty cool…going into the woods, there was a tree down across it so I laid down the bike to drag it off the trail…after I moved it, I looked down and there were 6 yellow morels poking out of the leaves…so I picked them and am going to saute them tomorrow…had to check to make sure there weren’t false ones that can kill you….can’t remember the last time I had them…yummy…

Well…okay, I know it’s time to get going but I don’t really want to….but, I guess if I just start then maybe it will work….slept a little better last night but still feel a little slow today so I think I’ll ease into it and let the coffee work some….I did get some stuff done yesterday and I may do more today but I have to cook, too, so that might be the work I’ll do…didn’t get out on the bike yesterday with the cold and rain…41 degrees in the middle of May is just too much for me to get out…and today looks like a long wait until it gets warm enough to go…not going to wear gloves anymore….my back has been cracking like crazy the past couple of days and the pain is gone so I guess that’s something…not much to do today…as I said, I’m going to ease into it and just have coffee and look at the news….more later….

Well…have done all the cleaning I am going to do today and I am bored, bored, bored….probably could do more but I just don’t feel like it…got the vacuuming done and moved my antenna wire for the tv and lost 3 channels and can’t figure out how to get them back…damn….I wonder if it’s the weather? It’s been raining all day and that has left me pretty grumpy without being able to get on the bike….and it is only 41 degrees and that depresses me even more…and I think I’m getting a new upstairs neighbor since somone has been clomping around up there all day…can’t wait to get out of here and into a house later in the year…at least there is light at the end of that tunnel….I wonder if I should wash the bike today? then it will be clean for the ride tomorrow…maybe that will keep me busy for a while…hope so….

Well…I think I’m running on time today since it is only a little after 7…..slept a little crappy last night and I wonder why that would be…it’s been okay lately so that’s disappointing….it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done but today will be different…not going to get on the bike with it being in the 40′s and rainy all day…in the 40′s in May? Cripes, that’s cold….so that will mean I’ll need to do something around here to keep the guilts at bay…vacuuming should be done and the kitchen could use a once over….I do need to run an errand this morning but that’s about all I need to do…going to marinade some more fish to have tomorrow but not until the coffee starts to work….more later….

Well…running a little late today with having to go to 2 grocery stores to get what I needed…and it started to rain again so I’m not sure when I’ll get out on the bike today…and the high is going to be 50 tomorrow with rain so I do need to get out today since I may take the day off tomorrow….slept okay last night and even slept in til 6:45 which puts me behind for grocery day….but, I have my coffee and news now so I guess it’s okay….the bike has been working perfectly for the past couple of weeks so I think I have the shifter fixed…and it is nice have it working right…didn’t get anything done yesterday but I will get the vacuuming done today before Man U plays…it is the next to last game in the season and they need to win to ensure 2nd place and the Champions league play this fall….not much to do today…just the normal stuff and cooking for lunch….more later…

Well….running a little early today and it is cold in here since I forgot to put the heat on last night…haven’t needed it for a few nights but will for the next few days…slept okay last night and feel a little better today….not sure what is going on but felt pretty crappy yesterday and was stuffed up and couldn’t breathe so I think the allergies are flaring up again…I think I need to try to find a new medicine for it…or take more of what I have been using….got a nice ride in yesterday but skipped working out…I’ll get back on the machine today and it will have to be soon since it is supposed to rain around 10 or so and then  continue off and on the rest of the day….didn’t get anything done yesterday but I am going to vacuum and get rid of the cobwebs today…they are annoying the heck out of me and need to be gone….more later…

Well…running a little late today and just can’t get started…and I feel pretty crappy this morning and I don’t know why….oh, and I lost at pool for the fourth time in a row…didn’t look to see if that is true but I’ll get to that later….I did have a nice ride out and back with the top down so that made up for it….didn’t get anything else done yesterday and I think I won’t get much done today….I think I may take the day off feeling like I do….I did talk to C last night and he may be coming into town in the next couple of weeks so I won’t have to drive to Mt. P….I do have errands to run today but I’m not sure if I’m going to do them….even getting on the bike may be too much work today….but. we’ll see after the coffee starts to work….more later….

Well…I think I’m up but I’m not sure….feel kind of off this morning and I hope that goes away soon…slept okay last night but I think I didn’t eat enough yesterday so that is going to have to be fixed today or I’ll be out of energy by noon…I did get the bathroom cleaned, finally, and even worked on the kitchen some so not doing anything today won’t make me too guilty….I did get a nice bike ride in yesterday and went pretty hard and I’ll try to do that again today…and the wind was almost calm so that made it even better…and today is calm out there so I’ll go as soon as it warms up enough…it is still only 42 out there and I need at least 5 more degrees….not much to do today… pool, but that’s about it….but, I need more coffee and some news first….more later….

Well…I think I’m on time this morning but I can’t be sure…slept okay last night but do feel a little slow today and I am thinking of taking a day off the bike…just thinking about it…will probably get out when it gets a little warmer but there are showers coming in and I don’t think it’s warm enough to get wet….I think my heel is on the way to being healed with the new cream and pumice that I have been using…it doesn’t hurt at all this morning and that is the first time for that in almost 4 months…..it is weird to walk almost normally and I keep waiting for it to hurt….and, my back doesn’t hurt, either so I am a little confused….didn’t get a lot done yesterday and I should do my bathroom today…that could happen but I’m not sure if it will….just can’t get moving so we’ll see when the coffee starts to work….more later….

Well….had a nice ride this morning that ended up with seeing something I’ve never seen before in this part of the state. When I got to my last water stop at the park and was just sitting there looking at the baseball fields that are in the upper part of the park, I saw some people playing what I assumed was baseball since I wasn’t paying too much attention…but then I saw the pitcher use a really strange windup and I realized that they were playing cricket…so I decided to go take a look and it was a group of men from India who had set up their cricket equipment and were playing a game….talked to one of them and mentioned that I had never seen cricket played around here and he just laughed…you would never have seen that when I was young….pretty cool….
