Well…if trump and his cronies were banking on the SC to overturn the election in any of the swing states, they better think again…just today the supreme court refused to hear anything more about the certification process in Pennsylvania after an appeals court shot the suit down..so that ends it there…but the court telegraphed today that they are not going to get involved in election cases and that leaves trump and his idiot lawyers 1-49 having lost all but one of the suits they have brought…and the fact that even Alito didn’t dissent to the ruling says for trump to stop and accept that he has lost and no suits challenging the results will be successful….so the stupid Texas suit where the indicted AG Paxton has sued 4 swing states for some reason having to do with who the hell knows is going nowhere as all the rest of them have….can we finally get rid of these assholes?
What a day…
Well…if the rubber shoe debacle wasn’t enough for one day, the damn faucet in the bathroom started to leak again after I replaced the cartridge about 6 weeks ago…even with that replacement, it never worked right and it had a leak around the aerator that sprayed all over the place…so, I decided that I wasn’t going to put another cartridge in it for 15 bucks when I can get a cheap replacement faucet for 20 bucks and it should last until my son and his wife move in here in a couple of months. The problem was that this faucet has been here for at least 40 years and has never been touched…so, of course, it was going to be a pain in the butt to get out and to get to the hold downs and the water connections, I had to bend this old body into a pretzel shape since the cabinet it is in is tiny and there is very little space between the opening and the opposite wall. Surprisingly, the fittings and the hold downs came off with just a little wrenching and it only took about a half hour to get it out and get the sink cleaned up for the new one that I’m going to get at Menards tomorrow during the grocery run….will probably have to get some kind of an adapter since the water lines that are soldered in use a nut and ferrule fitting and I’m sure the new ones use flexible lines instead of copper….but, it’s no big deal living without the bathroom sink if it takes a day or so to get it installed. Probably should have done this instead of wasting 15 bucks on the cartridge for the old one…oh, well….
Shouldn’t this be a crime?
Well….after 4 years of living with the stupidity of trump, I guess we all thought we knew how bad that was, but we were wrong….just today it was revealed that PFizer came to idiot boy when the results were certified and it was determined that their vaccine was effective and offered to sell millions of doses to the US…and as with everything else the idiot touches, he screwed it up by saying no thanks so Pfizer contracted with other countries to sell out their capacity. So, with the virus raging across the country, shouldn’t the choice to not protect Americans be a crime? He just is so damn stupid he didn’t understand that there is a fixed capacity for manufacturing these vaccines and this choice of his means that the US will be last in getting them with only 50 million doses available for 330 million people…so this choice is going to cost hundreds of thousands of American lives…isn’t that a crime? I am so damn tired of this asshole getting away with screwing this country over just because he doesn’t give a damn about anyone but himself…and this morning he said he would sign an executive order preventing Pfizer from selling the vaccines outside of the US…hey, donnie, it doesn’t work that way…this vaccine was invented by a Pfizer partner in Europe and they were just going manufacture it here…so now Pfizer will just produce it in Europe and put Americans out of work since they won’t produce it here…nice job, donnie…are you trying to screw everything up or does it just come natural to you? geez….
That was a mistake…
Well…as I talked about this morning, I was going to try my new waterproof shoes on the bike today just to see if they were warmer than the running shoes I’ve been using for the past couple of years…yeah, that was a mistake…while the shoes are great to work around in the yard, using them to ride the bike was a big mistake…my right foot started to hurt so badly that I had to cut the ride short at 8 miles and they are no good for the cold either…they are way too flexible for the pressure I put on them riding…and I couldn’t get comfortable like I can in my running shoes…they seem to just fall where it’s comfortable and they are stiff enough to not hurt the bottom of my feet…and the rubber shoes screwed up my entire position on the bike, too, and that made everything hurt from the waist down…so, big, big mistake…oh, well…
December 8th
Well…running a little late this morning even with waking up on another engine size at 4:40….have been coughing and wheezing all night from the work I did downstairs yesterday and I am still coughing like crazy this morning…I sure hope it doesn’t take 6 weeks to stop like it did last time…feel a little better this morning but I think I’ve been under a thousand calories a day for 4 days now and I can’t keep that up and feel okay….so, I’m going to try to fix that today and have a couple of big meals…okay, big for me that is so I should be at around 1500 for the day…the bike ride was such a huge chore and so damn cold yesterday and I am starting to try to figure out what has changed to be so sensitive to it…I’ve ridden in the cold for years and years in the same thermasuit that I’m using now and the cold never hung on throughout the day like it has been these past few weeks….I am going to try out my rubber slip on shoes today to see if they will be better than the running shoes I have been using…other than the downstairs work, I didn’t get much done yesterday but I do have an errand to run this morning to get some new furnace filters and some new registers to fit in the openings in the walls that have been open since I moved in here…only 8 bucks at Menards and that will be the finishing touch that I am going to do here….more later….

Well…as the asshole in chief keeps losing every damn suit that he has brought to try to steal the election, his plans for inauguration day have come to light and it really fits his being the worst person in the world. The idiot plans to skip the inauguration, breaking a more than 100 year tradition of showing the peaceful transition of power and instead plans to take Marine one and Air Force one to Florida to counter program with a rally with his deplorables. Hey, donnie….after 12:00 pm on inauguration day, no government vehicle is yours to use anymore…unless Biden wants to let you use them, you can slink out of town on your own…and do you really think that any network is going to carry your hate fests after you are out of office? Maybe OANN but no one else…so do you think it’s going to matter what the hell you do when a real president is being sworn in? This is just what everyone expects from donnie delusion, that he thinks he is going to be important after January 20th….hell, he isn’t even important right now…and never has been…so just go away already….most of us have had enough of your assholery…

Well…even with no sleep and feeling crappy today, I dragged myself downstairs and finished up the project that I had going down there…and I’m already feeling my allergies from it…my eyes are scratchy and puffy and my head is plugged up…but, it’s worth it to finally get that done and shut down….now comes the hard part of cleaning up everything but that is going to wait until later in the week…now, I just need to get a bike ride in here in a few minutes…but, I’m going to have lunch first….more later…
December 7th
Well…running so late today with not getting to sleep until almost 6 this morning and then getting up at 8 or so….damn, that’s going to make for a crappy day today and I had some work to do on the last of the downstairs project that I guess can wait until tomorrow….man, I can’t remember feeling this lousy in quite a while and I wonder it I’m going to get out on the bike today…didn’t go yesterday with how cold it was all day and I am at the bottom of the energy tank right now…it’s a hell of a lot of work to just do this and I can’t imagine getting on the bike and doing 15 miles…didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today will be the same after I finish this….need to start cleaning this place up but I don’t have to cook today so that will be a relief….and I know I need to eat more than a couple of pieces of pork and a bowl of soup so I’ll try that today….need to get motivated but the coffee is not working so I think I’ll just sit here and read the news for a while and hope that I feel better….more later…
Didn’t ride today…
Well….you know, I think I just needed a day off…decided pretty early today that I was going to take the day off the bike…it wasn’t even a hard decision since it is still only 32 and cloudy out there and I think I still feel cold from yesterday…and my allergies have been pretty bad today from the time I got up and that has taken a lot out of me…I did cut the pork shoulder in half and only cooked 4 lbs of it and it came out great with slicing up a whole onion, lots of garlic, and bay leaves to make the sauce…just threw that in and sauteed them and then cooked the shoulder for a little over an hour…and the strange thing is that the onions just melted away by the time it was done and with a little cornstarch, it made a pretty good sauce to spoon over the meat and the potato…and I am going to make some home made bbq sauce for pulled pork sandwiches later in the week…yummy….probably one of the easiest big meals I’ve made in a while….I think it helped that I browned the pork and sauteed the veggies in butter…and it only over browned a little and I got that cleaned out of the pot with baking soda and vinegar….now it’s time to take the rest of the day off….

Well…I wonder what the hell happened to all of the deplorables who think that the idiot trump is trustworthy after telling 25,000 lies (or more) over the past few years….how sad it is that fellow Americans don’t believe scientists, experts, historians, economists, and journalists but they believe a reality tv star who has spent his whole life defrauding everyone he has come into contact with…and they think he is a beacon of truth and honesty….what the hell happened to them? As the idiot boy continues to violate state election laws by pressuring governors to throw out the results of the vote and interfere with the counts and certification, he has lost and nothing he does is going to change that…and his followers are just too stupid to stop giving him money…I think he’s raised over 200 million dollars to “challenge” the election that everyone but his deplorables know is going to end up in his pocket….I just can’t comprehend why anyone would want to live in the fake world trump has built that has hate as it’s oxygen….at least on our side we take time to help people and smile sometimes….and trump still lost the election….
