Well….if you were here yesterday, you read that someone had set up 7 shopping carts on the trails that I bike on and that was kind of weird why anyone would do that…so, today, I head out fully expecting to see them again…nope, not one of them is still there…but, another weird thing replaced it. On the portion that is a rail trail, there were 14 stuffed animals in the trees that line the trail there…pandas, sheep, dogs, cats, a dolphin, and a couple of snakes…I’m pretty sure that this one is not aliens but I am now curious who the heck is doing this stuff….and to see what may be out there tomorrow…..at least something to smile about….

Well…this news blackout is really screwing up my morning routine…not sure when to have my coffee and it’s really easy to just lay on the couch and not get going….I guess I’ll have to figure out a new way to do morning…I did win at pool yesterday but a really loud woman interrupted us and I’m not sure what that was about….feel pretty crappy today…again…and my head is just plugged up so I’m thinking allergies again….and my back is sore so I won’t be moving too fast this morning…won’t have to get on the bike until this aft since it is below freezing and I just can’t get cold today….not going to do much today…just can’t get motivated so I think I’ll take the day off and just hang out….more later….

Well…on the ride this morning, I ran across a shopping cart where the trail breaks off from the sidewalk near Kalamazoo and M-6…this is really not too unusual since I see them every couple of weeks…the weird thing was, about a mile and a half down the trial there is another one…sitting in the middle of the trail just like the first one…and then another one, and another one…by the time I was half way through the ride I had counted 7 of them…which is weird enough, that someone pushed some of these carts more than a mile to get them where they were, but after the last one, I noticed something strange…the each one was turned 45 degrees clockwise from the last one….now, this doesn’t happen by accident but I am still puzzling out what the meaning of the whole project was…is it art? Is it aliens? Not sure…but it was weird….

Well….survived the day yesterday but today looks a bit iffy….feel like crap today and I think it may have been going out with K for a couple before cocktails…didn’t sleep at all last night and just want to take a nap…but, I need to get out on the bike first…this is the third day of no news and breaking that habit is going to be a pain…not tough since it will save me 90 bucks a month and there will be no more leaning tower of papers….I am starting to like using Pandora instead of the tv for background noise…but, I need to go to the library today to get some books to read….and it is pool day so I’ll have something to do this aft….and I may have another topic for the day but no politics…..more later…

Well….just barely coming out of the utter, black, depression that was the election…but the smiles of the people on the trail today helped quite a bit. But, I am done with this country….not going to watch the news, not going to care about anything…when the ignorant idiots in the country can elect people that are going to take away my social security and medicare when I am eligible for it, they can all go to hell. There was one bright spot that Tom just pointed out to me…that I will have lots to write about over the next 4 years….but, I’m not sure I want to…

Well…it was a pretty good day yesterday with making some cash that will get me through to Thanksgiving and getting the tire on the car plugged…the damn screw that was in the tire was about 2 inches long and I’m not really sure how the heck it got in there…and I had a high beam burn out on the way home last night and that irritates me some…but I found a new bulb on Amazon for $1.78 so that was cool….and the low beams are still fine so no big deal….it was just such a nice day yesterday that I had the top down all day and even got some sunburn….probably the last day that will happen…today is election day and I need to wait a while before I go so that will give me time to work out and get a bike ride in…might get wet but it looks like light rain so that is okay…more later…

Well…have spent the morning resetting all the clocks here…and I haven’t even gotten to the one in the car that I lost the instructions for…so that one will be trial and error….the tire on the car is still up so I don’t feel bad that I am going to wait until tomorrow to fix it…I do have to run an errand this aft so I will have to check it and make sure that it is okay with having an e-way run…I did get a few things done yesterday and today will be the kitchen’s turn since I have corpses of those damn little gnats everywhere….and I had the chicken brine bag unzip and spill rosemary and salt water all over the fridge so that will have to be done, too….I am roasting a whole chicken today with mashed potatoes and I am looking for ward to having something different than the thighs that I normally have…..okay…going back to the couch to finish my coffee and watch some soccer as I wait for the temp to come up to get on the bike…more later….

Well….had a little problem with the car yesterday with running over a screw and puncturing one of the rear tires….I just could not believe how bad the car handled with just a soft tire…it really felt like something had broken in the rear…just evil handling…but, I had the stuff necessary to fix it and it is still up this morning so I guess I’ll wait until Monday to take it off and plug it….just don’t feel like fixing it today…oh, I did win at pool yesterday and if was nice to get out for a change…and the run back with the tire fixed with the top down was fun…still feel a little crappy today and the bug is still here….so, today is going to be a slow one after the bike ride…have to remember to fall back tonight since daylight savings time is ending and that will put me out on the bike even later…could go out right now if it was light since it is warm enough but it is still dark so I won’t….not going to do a lot today…might do my kitchen but still don’t have a lot of energy so maybe not…more later…

Well…woke up this morning thinking it was Saturday for some reason…and I thought I was feeling better but have had a relapse…but, it’s just like every other bug…I feel better then worse, then better and that appears to be the pattern here…I did make some cash yesterday…finally….and that added to the 9 bucks I had in my pocket….and I had a nice lunch with T for her birthday that was fun…put the top down on the car all day, too, so that added to the fun….I do need to wash it soon so maybe today….I did wake up to a pleasant surprise this morning finding 5 pounds of venison burger on my door knob…I had cleared out my freezer with not having a lot of cash so this restock will come in handy….venison tacos next week….with running most of the day yesterday, I didn’t get a lot done and today looks the same with pool later and still not feeling right…I do feel much better than Monday so I guess I shouldn’t bitch too much….more later…

Well…I think I may be feeling a little better today…at least I slept some last night and that helps…still coughing, though, and I was sweating like crazy just doing the grocery shopping so maybe I shouldn’t jump the gun….did get out on the bike yesterday and that felt pretty good and it looks like I’ll be getting out again in a few minutes but no t-shirt this morning…I did take the day off and didn’t do any work…and today looks the same with having lunch with T for her birthday….wanted to buy today but haven’t made any cash in 6 weeks or so I need to conserve cash after having to use the debit card for groceries today….haven’t even driven the car enough to have to put gas in it in two weeks…and still have a full tank….okay…need to get back to the news before the bike ride so I’ll end here…more later….
