Well….yesterday was kind of a bust and I didn’t get anything done really….didn’t make it to Oct 1 without a sweatshirt on the bike since it was only 51 when I went out….and I got to 2400 miles yesterday so it looks like about 2700 for the year when I’m done…not a bad year but way under the record of over 4000…my back is locked in place again and that is causing some pain today and I hope that will get worked out on the bike….forgot to take painkillers before the ride yesterday and had cramps in my hands and feet so I won’t do that again….I think I may need to take a day off the bike soon since, for the first time this year, I really didn’t enjoy the ride and just wanted it to be over…and that makes it torture…the 25 mile an hour wind didn’t help, either….okay….need more coffee…oh, I do have a few things to do today but they’re not very interesting so I won’t talk about them…more later…

Well….it was another busy day yesterday…at least in the morning since I had to work on the car, bleeding the clutch and greasing the caliper pins on the front brakes…not sure if I improved the clutch or not…felt okay yesterday but this morning it didn’t…so maybe I need another slave cylinder…the one in it is not leaking but there is something going on…and the rear shock on the bike fell apart when I got back here yesterday so I had to loctite it back together and I am curious how that is going to work….did the grocery run this morning and don’t understand how I can spend 60 bucks on nothing….oh, well….not in too much pain today but there will still be ibuprofen before the bike ride…it is too cold to go out in a t-shirt and I am hoping to get to Oct. 1 before I get the sweatshirts out….don’t have a whole lot to do today….have a pork loin in the oven slow cooking it again so there will be a good lunch…more later….

Well….it was a really busy day yesterday and I spent most of it in the car…had to meet up with a bunch of people yesterday and I made a bunch of cash so that was cool….was good last night and I shouldn’t have been with the debate on…but, that is one for another post that I will do later…have to do the normal stuff and work on the car first, though, going to grease the caliper pins and bleed the clutch first thing after I finish my coffee….the shifting was not as bad yesterday but I still think there is air in the line…or the slave cylinder is leaking again so I’ll check that, too….the allergies are really terrible this morning and I have started the day sneezing like crazy so there will have to be some medicine before I get on the bike today….other than that stuff…I am going to take an easy day today…don’t think I’m even going to cook…just use up the leftovers and then make another pork loin tomorrow….more later….

Well…it’s dark and gloomy and I feel like crap this morning and that is not the way to start the week….and I wanted to work on the car this morning but I have other things to do so that won’t happen….I am going to make some money today so maybe that will make me feel better later….and it’s raining so I can’t get on the bike until later or put the top down on the errands and that irritates the heck out of me….didn’t get anything done yesterday…didn’t even cook so that will have to happen today….the first debate is on tonight and I am not sure I am going to watch it…it might be fun to watch Trump lie his ass off and get called on it…but the bar has been set so low for Trump that if he doesn’t bite the head off a bat, he will be declared the winner…and that is just sick….okay…more coffee is needed…more later…

Well…not much of a day yesterday…I did get the bathroom cleaned and watched sports all day…Man U looked okay for the first time this season but it looked like they quit in the second half…but, a win is a win…two days now with the pedal not coming loose so I may leave the wrench home today…but it looks like another day of waiting for the temp to come up…it’s only 52 right now so I think I won’t get out until 10 or so….and that’s okay…not feeling it right now and want to finish up the Moto GP race….I think I have to work on the car tomorrow…want to bleed the clutch to see if that is why the shifts have gotten notchy…have to grease the pins on the brakes anyway so I think I’ll just do that all tomorrow….not much to do today…need to clean the kitchen but might not….more later…

Well….not sure how much I like the changes that are happening as we move to fall….had to put the headlights on in the car this morning and it is cool enough that I’ll have to wait for a while to get out on the bike…it’s only 53 right now and I need it to be 57 so I can go out in a t-shirt….not ready to get the sweatshirts out yet….oh, and I did win at pool…and most of the soreness is gone even with going hard yesterday…but, today will be a no sprint day and I am puzzling on what would be the best music for that…it’s usually SD but I’m not sure about today….sitting here right now watching Man U and I’m not sure why…they have stunk up the place lately but are in the lead right now so I probably should stop here and go watch it….more later….

Well…there is good news on the bike so far…after cleaning the pedal arm and re-tightening it, no slop or anything today and it stayed tight through the entire 15 miles…but, that’s not what I wanted to talk about….just had a thing for live music this morning…”Southern Man” got me started, then into “No Quarter”, then into “Nantucket Sleighride”….all of then gave me so much energy on the bike today that I think I’m going to be sore with going so hard…and the pedal arm staying tight helped that, too…I may have to make a live music playlist this weekend…I need a CCR one, too…and maybe a Doors one? Who knows?

Well….feeling a little slow this morning since I went out to have one with K and J before cocktail night last night….didn’t get a damn thing done yesterday and today will be the same with shooting pool this aft…I did get a nice long ride in yesterday and went hard the entire 15 miles and that felt good…did a little work on the bike to try to get the pedal arm completely fixed…the annoyance factor has dropped from a 10 to 2 so the new bolt has had some effect…it is nice to not think about that on the ride….my back has healed it seems since the pain is just a twinge now but I hurt everywhere…just low level stuff that I can deal with….not much to do today….might clean some after I get back from the ride but probably not…more later….

Well…I hope this morning is not as busy as yesterday…was out on the bike before 8 to beat the storms and went as hard as I could for 12 miles but I am feeling that today…my left lower back has been screaming at me since I got off the bike yesterday but I think it may be getting better…at least I hope it is…have already done the grocery run this morning and didn’t get anything since my freezer is filled and I’m not sure where I’m going to put the chicken I bought yesterday…but, how can you pass up legs at 49 cents a pound? Made another pork loin with the slow foil method yesterday and I think I’ll never make it any other way…but, I may change up the rub and go with more garlic and thyme next time…the bbq taste is cool but I think I want to try to see what else will work….I do need to get some work done around here today and it looks like I’ll have to choose between the bathroom and kitchen since I won’t do them both….or won’t do either…not too motivated but feel pretty good after being good last night….more later….

Well…it’s the first day of fall and I’m running late again…had to get the bike ride in before I did this since there are going to be storms most of the day and I couldn’t miss the day…felt pretty crappy this morning after meeting up with T for a couple and then with G for a couple more….I did make some cash yesterday so I now have grocery money for the next couple of weeks and that takes a load off….okay, this one is going to be short since I want to get over to Aldi’s before it rains and I need to shower…back in a few….okay…I’m back…wanted to get out and get some cheap food before the storms and I just made it….now I’m just waiting for it to start…have another part of a pork loin in the oven to cook low and slow for at least 5 hours and I started that at around 7 or so…man, have gotten a bunch of stuff done already and it’s only 9:30…I do need more coffee and to read some news so I’ll end here….more later…
