Well…running about normal this morning and I think that is pretty good after the long day yesterday…270 miles in one day is a bit much in the car…and it was a little cold coming back with the top down…but, the car ran great the whole way at 80 so that makes it better…it was nice to see a couple of the boys again and hang out for a while…and I do have dates for the two weddings that will happen next year…one in May, the other in September….so I guess I’ll have to have the suit cleaned…slept okay last night but I am a little worn out and sore from the car…but, it is only about 50 so I am going to wait to get out on the bike until it warms up…and now I think I’ll head back to the couch for some soccer and coffee…more later…

Well..decided that I’m going to cheat a little today so I don’t get farther behind…so let’s talk about the trail…out yesterday, coming through Kentwood, there were 4 turkeys just walking down the trail so I thought I’d get moving and chase them…didn’t know that turkeys could run that fast…I was going 18 or so when they finally took off and started flying…pretty cool…but, then on the last climb up to the park for a water break…there is this old guy standing behind my bench just taking a leak…right out in the middle of the park…can’t say that I’ve ever seen that before…but the really strange thing is that there is a a restroom not 100 yards away from where he was standing….kind of turned me off using that bench….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday…made a little cash and won at pool so that was good…didn’t accomplish anything else and, as you can see, I didn’t come back for another one so I am now three down for the month…but, that won’t be rectified today since I have to drive over to the other side of the state for one of my sons engagement party…the car has been running great so that doesn’t worry me at all…I am going to fill it up to check the mileage and I may even take it down a notch from 80 just to see what it can get…270 miles in one day is going to be the longest trip I have taken it on and with only an 11 gallon gas tank, it may take almost all of it…tried to take it easy last night so I have some energy today but that really didn’t work so I may have to take a nap before I leave this aft…more later…

Well…running really late this morning and it is just because I seem to be in slow motion today…one of those days where slow is the only speed I appear to have and when that happens, I just need to go with it…so, I will…slept okay but only okay…no dreams to speak of…I have had a nice conversation with T this morning and that did make me smile a little…not much to do today…already have the grocery run done…not really a grocery run but I had to get a can of instant spare for the trip over to the other side of the state tomorrow…going to eat out of the freezer for the next week or so just so I have room for new stuff….I have enough fish to choke someone so that is going to be the priority….need to get on the bike before the rain so that’s it for now….more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done…slept okay with some dreams again but they didn’t really impress me so I won’t relate them here….didn’t win the powerball so I guess I go back to looking for work today…oh, well…have been completely out of energy lately and I’m not sure why…have been sleeping okay but maybe not eating enough…but, nothing tastes or sounds good so maybe that has something to do with it…I am a little excited that the Wings play on tv tonight since all of the shows that I like have ended for the year or permanently….I still have a hole from “Burn Notice” ending a week ago and I’m not sure if I want to get that involved in a show again….not much to do today…it is raining right now so I will have to wait to ride the bike until later but that is about it….more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I spent most of it thinking about the ordeal that T was going through with a day long interview…but, it would be nice for me to get one of those….slept okay but with a bunch of “Walking Dead” dreams that I really don’t understand what the connection is to me….lots of shooting with a .30 caliber lever action Remington…weird….I did have to go out and get my tickets for the powerball for tonight…just couldn’t pass up the chance for 400 million bucks…not much to do today…I do have to find time to get the car washed for the trip across the state Sat…but that won’t be today since it is supposed to rain…maybe tomorrow morning…other than that…not much going on….just the normal, boring stuff….but, I will be back with some political stuff for later….

Well…I could go off on a real rant about the nonsense of not being able to pass even the feeblest gun control legislation, but I’m not going to do that…as you can see from the title….the ride today was pretty interesting with all of the stuff to see that you normally don’t…snakes for one…saw a bunch of snakes on the warm pavement just sitting there as I rode by…I could have picked any number of them up with not too much trouble….then there were the wooly bears…ended my count at 272 of them and that was only in the first half of the ride…so, we may have more monarch butterflies next year…then, there was the great blue heron that is back in the retention pond…well…not in the pond but on the little dam at the end of it…didn’t move when I went by and that was pretty cool…lastly, there was the female red tailed hawk that was sitting on the fence by the same pond…got within about three feet before it took off…it was finally nice to have things to see and make the ride so much less boring…and I did get the new battery in the computer for the bike so I can read it again…yay….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but the first day out on the bike in a sweatshirt made me a little wistful for the 90 degree temps of the summer…slept okay but may have to put the heat on tonight if it stays near 40 at night…it was a comforter night…hmmmm…lots of nights in that last sentence…wonder what that means…probably nothing….short, weird dreams, too, but nothing remarkable….I can’t wait to hear about T’s all day interview with FSU that is happening today…really hope she gets this one…I did finally empty my mailbox yesterday and found an invitation to one of my son’s engagement party at his house on Sat…so it looks like a run over to Farmington Hills sat aft….looks like the route is all e-way so it shouldn’t be too bad a drive…not much to do today…resumes, of course, then not much else….more later…

Well…it was a long, boring day yesterday and part of it was my fault…took the day off the bike to try to get the legs to stop hurting and it looks like it may have helped a little…but I hurt everywhere else so it may not be from riding the bike…so, back to the ibuprofen again today to keep the pain from reaching screaming levels again…so yesterday was just a total veg day with football and the races…did watch “Breaking Bad” last night and it is getting really kind of strange with everyone melting down..can’t wait for the last one next Sunday…not much to do today…I am still in go slow mode today since it is too cold to get out on the bike right now but I guess I can work out…so, I’ll go do that now…more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done with watching Michigan and the races…had to do a play by play of the game by text for T since her cable box crapped out at halftime and that was kinda fun…it was a cocktail night so I do feel a little crappy today…and it looks like I will finally get the day off the bike since it is already raining an it appears it will be raining for most of the day…I do need the day off to get some energy back in the legs but that will delay my recovery some…slept okay and late this morning since I just didn’t want to get up….not much to do today…not even any cooking since I have the leftover chicken from yesterday and that is okay…I think I’ll just go back to the couch and watch the rest of “King Kong”…more later…
