Well…just can’t get started this morning so this one is a little late…and I’m still coughing and I’m not sure if it’s allergies or that darn cold still…whatever it is, I’m tired of it and want it to go away…slept okay last night but feel pretty slow this morning so I’m going to ease into the day…and it is already almost 50 so I’ll get out on the bike in shorts today…and I’ll get on the top repairs after I get my workout done….oh, I did win at pool yesterday…and I had the top down out and back….and that was fun….not much to do today..after fixing the top, that is….just going to fool around most of the day and take it easy….more later….
Wasn’t going to come back…
Well….I wasn’t going to come back for another one today but I am bored again so I thought I’d come back here for one more….have to work on the top on the car tomorrow…noticed that some more of the thread by the back window has failed and I have to fix it before winter…not really sure how I’ll do it but that’s for tomorrow…just watched Keith Olbermann’s last “The Resistance” that he did for GQ on twitter…he seems convinced that trump is gone soon with Mike Flynn’s lawyer working on a deal for his testimony against the idiot…it can’t happen too soon for me…and I will buy the house a round when they perp walk idiot boy out of his ugly, gaudy, golf course….this is going to be really ugly with the 30% of the country that are so stupid they still support the criminal in chief….and any changes that trump was allowed to make after his fraudulent election should be erased…shouldn’t we get a do-over after this travesty? I think once Mueller is done, the repubs will be exposed for the traitors they are since Ryan and McConnell both took Russian money for the RNC…clearly against the law and they should both go…at least there is one thing that can keep us sane…at the most, this nightmare will last only one more year…after the 2018 elections, if the trend of the past month or so holds, we’ll control at least the House and maybe even the senate….and the full force of sanity will be returned….impeach…
November 27th
Well…running a little late today…didn’t get up until 7:30 again and that is getting to be almost normal…slept okay but didn’t have any dreams again….darn….it was an okay day yesterday but all I did was watch some sports and be bored….at least the Lions didn’t play and lose….I did get a nice bike ride in and did get over the damaged bridge into the park so I got a full ride in….and I hope it warms up soon so I get out today….it was only 31 when I went out yesterday and that is a little cold…not much to do today…have pool later but that is about it…and I need to do another one of these….more later….
Person of the year?
Well…we all know that trump lies as much as he breathes…but, who would continue to lie about something that can easily be fact checked? This week, the idiot trump tweeted out that he had refused to be named time magazine’s Person of the Year since time had said he only “probably” would be named….trying to make it appear that Time had called him…but, there is just one tiny little problem with that…none of it happened..Time tweeted out a few hours later that they never talked to the idiot at all…and that the person is never told about it until the selection is made public in the early part of December. Now, let’s call trump’s delusion what it is…he is frickin mentally ill…and the media will never call him on it…every reporter should ask him about this every time he leaves his golf club where he is “working”…and keep it up until he explodes….impeach…
November 26th
Well…running a little late today since I had to run the car to melt the ice on it before I went out to get the paper….not sure I’m ready for that…slept okay last night and feel okay today but don’t have enough coffee so I think I may have to make more….didn’t get much done yesterday and probably won’t today either….once I have this place cleaned up, it usually stays clean for quite a while…my back has been good for almost 3 weeks now and that is a good thing…and I’m not really sore anywhere other than the normal pain that I have all the time…going to have to wait to get out on the bike today since it is only 23 degrees outside right now and I don’t want to do full thermasuit…..and the Lions don’t play today so I will be able to go out later…..more later…..
November 25th
Well…running late today since I didn’t get up until 7:30 and that is really weird for me….slept okay last night but I’m having a hard time getting going…but, I really don’t need to get going too much with nothing to do today…other than sports….F1 qualifying right now, then into Man U, and then Michigan at noon…so I’ll need to find a hole to get the bike ride in….didn’t get a lot done yesterday but clean my oven and that was needed…but I won’t be using it for a while after cooking t-day dinner….it’s already 45 degrees outside so I can get on the bike in shorts again but that ends today…it will be back to the full thermasuit for tomorrow….okay, I need coffee and to watch qualifying…more later….
2900 miles
Well…should have done this one yesterday since that is when I got to 2900 miles for the year, but today is as good any time, I guess….I did get a good ride in this morning even going out in shorts and that was fun…and I wasn’t even cold…did have cramps in my hands again and that is not fun but they seem to be okay now…it looks like I’ll make 3K for the year and that is always the goal….I am going to start looking for a new bike soon since I think I can afford one after the new year….
Flynn has flipped….
Well…was going to write about his one yesterday when the news came out but I was overdosed on turkey and just didn’t feel like it….as was reported by the NYT yesterday, Mike Flynn’s lawyers have stopped talking to the idiot trump’s lawyers and there is only one reason that that would happen…Flynn is flipping on trump and cutting a deal to keep himself and his son out of prison for the rest of their lives….I am just going to savor that for a while….and revel in the irony that the idiot that led the chants of “lock her up” at the repub convention is probably going to do some jail time and Hillary has been proven to be innocent of all of the right wing smear charges that floated around during the election….Mueller is coming for trump and has him…and there may be bombshells by the end of the year and I can’t wait to see the charges against the idiot….get the popcorn ready….impeach….
November 24th
Well….up early today and trying to get moving but it’s not working too well right now….slept okay last night but still feel a little slow today….need to make coffee with only enough leftover to fill one cup…and that will not be enough for today…but, the coffee maker needs to cool down for a bit before I make more….didn’t get a lot done yesterday but cooking and today will probably follow that pattern….I do need to put the trash out since it stinks but that will probably be the only job I do today…..think I’ll just veg and watch some sports today…after I get out on the bike…and I may wait to go out until it’s warm enough to go out in shorts….have to find my jeans today so I can start wearing them…I did get to t-day in shorts again this year and I may continue that for a while…not sure yet…more later….
T-day update….
Well…just sitting here watching the Lions lose and thought I’d do a little update on the day so far….I think I have turkey figured out…this one came out perfect with the OJ and veggie broth for the brine…the skin crisped up just right and even the white meat was juicy…and I had eaten and cleaned everything up and put it away before 1…but, I ate so much that I am still full 3 hours later…not sure if I’ll need another meal today but I so want a turkey sandwich….maybe later….and I don’t think I’ll be back for another one today…but, you never know…
