Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done around here so that was cool…slept okay but woke up sore today and that is getting old…and, the allergies/bug is still keeping my eyes dry and itchy and I want it to be over pretty soon….not sure what the heck is still out there to be allergic to but there must be something….still haven’t read any news…well hardly any…and I think that will continue through the weekend….not much to do today…skipped the bike ride yesterday so I need to get out there after the next cup of coffee…I did get to a new record of 30.8 mph on my downhill run wed but the wind changed by the time I got to the bottom of the hill so no new top speed record…but 34.5 is still pretty fast…not sure when I’ll get the next chance to try for a new one….more later…
Man, the right is delusional…
Well…just a short one on the chatter that is happening on the right after their win in the election Tuesday…if you dig into the numbers, they won a majority of the 30% of the people that voted in this one…so, that gives them around 17% of the people in the country that voted for them…but that doesn’t stop the screams of “mandate” that are coming from the usual suspects…and it gets even more delusional than that…many of the commentators like Hannity are calling for the president to resign and have Ole Mitt appointed president…I just don’t know what to say about that…I can just shake my head but that won’t do any good…this, coming form the right who scream “unconstitutional” every time the president wakes up and breathes…can you guys just read the constitution for a change…if Obama were to resign…Biden would be the new president….not Boehner, not McConnell, not Romney…get your heads out of your asses righties…the president is still more popular than you…the only reason you asses won was that our side stayed home…that’s it, no mandate, no nothing…geez…
November 6th
Well….still not coping well with the debacle from Tuesday but I think I have found a work around by not reading any news…so, I’m going to try that again today…slept crappy again last night but I think this time it is the cold/allergies that are really bad right now…don’t feel bad but just can’t breathe at night…have a really annoying wheeze that is amplified by wearing earplugs and that keeps me awake, too….I did get a bunch of stuff done yesterday and I have more to do today so that will help keep me away from the news, too…..not much to do today…have the grocery run first and then back here to wait for the rain to stop so I can get out…it looks like yesterday will be the last day in shorts on the bike but not for just getting around…still have the goal of getting to t-day but the next week is going to be a trial with temps int he 20′s and 30′s…more later…
Here’s the problem…
Well…this is going to be a short one about the turnout yesterday…the whole debacle can be laid at the feet of people under 30 who usually vote for us…but, this time only 15% of them turned out…yep, only 15% of the youngsters turned out and that apathy gave the country to the idiot repubs…and they turned out 32% of the old farts that are too stupid to think for themselves or are so scared or racist that they just hate the black guy in the White House and will vote for a cabbage if it has an R after it’s name….this country is done…the repubs are going to do to it just what was done to Kansas…and even with the economy there cratered…they just re-elected the guys that did that to them…we have a country of stupid, stupid people and I am glad I won’t be around to see the end….

Well…awoke this morning to a full blown case of depression since our side stayed home and now the repubs own the country…or I should say that the Koch’s now own the country and I am so pissed at our lazy voters who stayed home…okay…can’t even write more I am so disappointed…maybe I won the lotto and can leave this country….
A disappointing day…
Well….it has been a disappointing day so far and it looks like it will get worse later….haven’t been able to get on the bike since it has been raining all morning and I have no energy at all…and, it will get worse later since it looks like the repubs are going to win today and that will leave us good guys in the wilderness for the next two years until we take the entire government back from the idiots on the right…and there are idiots on the right…just look at Joni Ernst who looks to win in her senate race…she is the one who has said in speeches that she will fight against the UN coming in and forcing people off their land and into the cities…yep, she actually believes that stupid conspiracy theory…but the people who vote for here are even dumber than she is…when I went to vote today at around 9:30…there had been only 85 people who had voted in my precinct in the first two and a half hours and the place looked like a morgue…the sad thing is for us dems is that if we just get off our lazy asses and vote, we will turn the repubs out forever…I guess having the rich own this country is just not that important to our side….depressing to say the least…
November 4th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done…slept okay but no dreams to speak of and I feel okay today with being good last night….I am getting depressed about the coming weather that is going to be in the 30′s all week next week…not ready to put the snowies on the car yet and I’m not going to….will just have to hibernate here if it snows….it is election day so I need to get out and vote this morning after the rush…if there is any…I should have cocktails tonight with all the bad news that is coming…going to be really depressed for the next week or so when the repubs will be crowing…I just can’t believe people are so stupid to vote for them after how badly they have screwed up Michigan….oh, well….will talk about that later in another one….more later….

Well…getting to the end of election season and I am pretty happy that I won’t have to see any more ads after then…and, it looks like the good guys are going to lose the senate…at least that’s what the polls say….there is one small thread of hope that we still have and that is if the GOTV actions are not reflected in the polls…but I am not going to go all right wing delusional about it…if we lose, it’s our fault for not voting since we outnumber them…at least we won’t have Terri Land as a senator and that may be the only consolation we can take away from this one….there is one thing that will be sure if the repubs do take the senate…more Obamacare repeal votes…more investigations and none of the country’s business getting done…ole Ted Cruz is so delusional that he thinks he’d have the votes to override a veto…that’s not going to happen…ever….but these folks have never been encumbered by reality…so I guess I’m not surprised…to end this thing, the only thing that will fix this country is for you to go out and vote…I trust that most of you who come here every day are at least a little progressive so get out there and vote for more equal rights for everyone….if any of you are repubs, I just heard on Fox news that Ebola can be transmitted through voting machines so you should stay home to be safe…after all you believe everything Fox says don’t you?

Well…running late again today since the server was down again until just now….it was an okay day yesterday but the bug got worse and today I feel better… a little, but still not good…looks like this will be an all week thing…it is T’s birthday today but I haven’t heard from her all weekend so I guess I’ll just wait to hear from her…slept crappy again last night…as always…and that is part of why I feel so tired today….didn’t get anything done yesterday but the bike ride…didn’t even cook anything and I may be under by a few hundred calories which may be compounding how I feel….not much to do today…have to dig out the voters guide from last weeks paper and do my homework for the election tomorrow but that is about it…..more later….

Well…it has been one of those days for me today…the cold or whatever it is is back with a vengeance and I have felt like crap all day today with coughing and sneezing and generally no energy…and Man U lost this morning so that was depressing, too….the time change is hitting me right now with it being dark around 5:30….ick…I did get the shifter on the bike adjusted so it works fine again but the bike ride was just off somehow…I just sit differently with the thermasuit on and that takes some adjusting to…May have to do some more work on it tomorrow since I do want the front shifter to work, too….the Red Wings are going through a let down right now from the win Friday night…the just look slow tonight…okay….that’s enough…now I don’t have to feel guilty about getting behind…
