Well…with the sordid details coming out of how the repubs conspired with Cambridge Analytica and the Russians to steal the 2016 election, there has been one little detail that no one noticed…at least very few people noticed…and that is that there were Facebook employees “embedded” in the CA offices helping them use Facebook data to sway people either to hate Hillary more, or to try to suppress minority votes. Yep, that’s right…Facebook actually asked it’s employees how they felt about the idiot trump and then the ones with positive views were assigned to help CA trash our election and manipulate people. That’s enough for me to think about getting off Facebook totally…I never share any personal or political stuff there since I think giving companies like Facebook salable data on me is just a little too creepy…it’s the reason I refuse to get any discount cards that you have to use at the checkouts of any store…it’s none of their damn business what I do and what I buy, and that information belongs to me…and, with the latest revelations of how Facebook interfered with the election using personal data of their users, I guess my paranoia is pretty well justified…let’s boycott Facebook and make them pay for what they’ve done….geez…

The election….
Well…just got back from voting and it feels good to get that done…only took about 5 minutes…no lines or anything….and it looks like Hillary will win given the polls that came out today…I have a feeling that it is going to be a bigger win than we hoped for but I think I’ll keep my fingers crossed the rest of the day…the big thing is going to be control of the senate and that is looking much more uncertain right now and I just can’t figure that one out…I mean Ron Johnson against Russ Feingold….when Johnson is one of the stupidest people to walk the face of the earth? I did go out and get cocktail materials for this night since I am going to need it watching the returns later….do people think they sound smart when they say they are having a hard time choosing between the orange idiot and Hillary? Or saying they will have to hold their noses to vote for either candidate? Folks, the only reason that people have doubts about Hillary is the right wing smear machine that has been relentlessly lying about and attacking the Clintons for 25 years….and that won’t change after the elections since we know that the right has nothing else…no ideas, no nothing….geez…
It starts…already…
Well…one thing that I have been noticing lately is the increasing attention to the nonsense that is going to be the 2016 presidential election….and I am shaking my head at the normal cast of characters on the repub side who are making noises about running…ole Mitt, Jeb, and Rubio have started to float the trial balloons and that makes this question pop up in my head: “Isn’t there anyone else?” Do we need the retreads from years before to do it again? I, for one do not want another Bush or Clinton in the White House….their time is done and I don’t want retread policies that would not benefit the middle class at all…after all, the Clintons are the darlings of Wall street and you can bet that they would fall all over themselves rewarding the big donors with more deregulation and give them even more chances to steal what is left of the economy. With the Bushs’s, you are going to have more Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld and their cronies and the country surely can’t stand more of that crap. I just wish some new blood, progressive blood would run on our side anyway…people like Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren who won’t just pay lip service to helping the middle class but will make it their job to claw back some of the thievery that the 1% has done over the past 20 years….no more dynasties…we can’t afford it…geez…
