Well…damn I feel bad for the people living in the Tampa area of Florida with hurricane Milton going from a tropical storm to a category 5 hurricane overnight…sustained winds of 160mph with gusts to 200…and the reason it exploded like it has is the record heat in the Gulf of Mexico…and guess where that heat came from? If you listen to the governor of Florida, global warming does not exist and he has outlawed anyone in government from talking about it…so that will help surviving the hurricane, right? This just shows the stupidity of the climate deniers who infest our politics and are still attacking science every day…no matter if it’s climate change or vaccines, for some reason these morons believe that if they just ignore a problem like the idiot trump did with covid, it will just magically go away…I wonder if we’ll see desantis with his fingers in his ears going na,na,na to avoid having to hear how many have died because of assholes like all of the repubs…Helene killed over 200 and Milton is going to be worse…and yet the people in the hurricane’s path will keep voting for these assholes…geez…
