Well….have been reading a few articles lately that describe the plight of immigrants in this country who have taken to hiding to avoid trump’s gestapo, and I am appalled at how much these stories mirror the Diary of Anne Frank. When I was young I read the book and saw quite a few television adaptations of the diary that showed the terror the family felt when the Gestapo got close and also the bravery of their friends in trying to keep them safe. That same thing is unfolding here in the US and I still can’t believe that we are allowing trump’s Gestapo to send these immigrants to their death as sure as the Gestapo did during WWII…and I can’t believe the media has not seen these similarities and blared headlines across the country pointing out these atrocities…this is not the country I grew up in…impeach…

Not safe for refugees….
Well….take a look at the title of this one….Amnesty International has just deemed that the US is not safe for refugees…never in the history of this country has this ever been said about us…and we have trump and his minions to thank for it…as every day goes by, trump is destroying the good name of our country by his fascist notions of what we are….and the majority of us who did not vote for the ignorant asshole are being sucked down onto the black hole he is creating by his policies, by his using his gestapo of the CBP to harass immigrants, tourists and citizens alike this country has now been made much less safe than it was under Obama…and the dark vision offered up by president bannon is being implemented in our name….I am ashamed to be an American for the first time in my life…and you did this, trump…this asshole needs to be impeached….
Some funny stuff…
Well…I don’t know if you’ve heard or not, but Georgia has recently passed on of the toughest anti-immigrant laws in the country that basically allows them to stop and arrest anyone that looks hispanic…that may be a little bit of hyperbole…I do that sometimes, as you know, and the wonderful rule of unintended consequences kicked in to bite them in the ass. What has happened is that all of the illegals that the farmers exploited to get their harvests in have fled the state, leaving them with no one to do the low paid, backbreaking work that Americans won’t do, leaving this years harvest rotting in the fields and costing the farming business there millions. I am just laughing my ass off since this completely dispels the tired old repub notion that the illegals are taking the jobs of American citizens….and shows these neanderthals what pandering the the fringe of their party without thinking about the consequences will do….now…I don’t support the idea of people being rewarded for breaking the law and coming here illegally, but couldn’t we do something like a documented guest worker program that would allow people to come and do those jobs? Just a thought….
