Well…just when you thought that trump and his cronies couldn’t get any dumber….yesterday idiot boy ordered our military to murder the head of Iran’s army…and with that have set the middle east on fire no matter what they lie and say that this murder has made the middle east “safer”….but, if it is safer, why did the idiot Pompeo just tell all Americans in Iraq to run to the exits and get out right now? Look, this is just another example of the lawlessness that is rampant in this administration….not even bothering to inform the congress that has the only power to wage war…not the executive branch, not some liar of a president who is doing this for only one reason…to distract from the fact that he has been impeached and to give Moscow Mitch an excuse to go in front of the cameras and gravely say that impeachment should be put on hold in a time of war…see how convenient that is? All trump had to do was start a war and he is free and clear from the consequences of his criminality by being even more of a criminal….and the repubs are all chiming in with exactly that talking point…that impeachment of a “war time” president just can’t go on…even though there is not one “get out of jail free card” in the constitution anywhere. So now we have the most corrupt and dishonest group of criminals starting another mideast war that will cost thousands of American, Iraqi, and Iranian lives and the idiot trump doesn’t take to the tv to explain it at all since his too damn dumb to even understand what he has just done….and the rest of the world is going to pay just because this asshole just can’t stop being a criminal…this is the modern repub, folks….

This is bravery…
Well…just had to do a short one on an article I just read out on Kos…over the weekend, an Iraqi man recognized that a suicide bomber was trying to get into a shrine to detonate a suicide vest….this brave man, Najih Shaker Al- Baldawi hugged the suicide bomber and detained him while he set the vest off…killing Mr. Al-Baldawi and the murderer….but saving hundreds of lives….this is bravery….RIP….
What could 8 trillion buy?
Well….have been stewing a little today with the waste of our military people for trumped up wars that the old, fat, stupid Bush administration got us into…I am just so tired of the need for more burials, more memorials, and more waste of the young people of the US just to feed the egos of the war makers…I think the Black Sabbath song “War Pigs” is the perfect description for these asses…but, then there is the monetary cost of this folly that the country will be paying for long after my kids are gone…for 8 trillion dollars you could fix every road, every bridge, every water system, every school, every environmental disaster that needs to be fixed in this country….you could pay for a full college education for the next two generations of kids and have them graduate debt free…..you could give everyone on SS a 50% raise and pay for healthcare for the entire country….this is what those idiots in the Bush administration did…they wasted the future of this country just so Dick Cheney could play tough guy…so he could play out his fantasy of being the smartest guy in the room…and for that the country rots from the inside….
Memorial Day…
Well….as I said earlier, this is going to be a post that will ruffle some feathers given the military fetish this country has….watching the races yesterday and it being Memorial Day today, I was struck by the fake regard that was woven through the broadcasts….with Nascar going so far as to put the names of soldiers who were killed in action on the windshields of all of the cars in the race. Now, I think it’s fine to honor people who died in service to this country but, really, isn’t there a better thing we could do? Like maybe not get them killed in the first place? That is the only thought that pops into my head when I hear of people that were killed in the fake, trumped up war in Iraq…a war that didn’t need to happen and that destabilized the entire region and has cost the US almost 8 trillion dollars…I think it’s time to rethink the ever growing military and the budget for it…it’s time to bring the troops home and let the rest of the world take care of itself…no more death for our soldiers…..
JEB! really is this stupid…
Well…I’m sure you heard this idiots comments on the Planned Parenthood nonsense when he said that he didn’t know why we needed to spend 500 million dollars on women’s health…yeah, that is pretty stupid…but he really topped himself at a foreign policy seminar yesterday where he said that the Iraq war was “a good deal” and he would do it again even knowing that the reasons for going to war there were all lies. Here’s the cost of his “good deal”…over 4400 dead US soldiers (not counting the PTSD affected ones that came home and killed themselves), over 115,000 dead Iraqis, 1.7 TRILLION dollars in direct costs that possibly could balloon to over 6 trillion dollars once the total costs of care for the troops is counted….I don’t know if he is stupid or just cynical but to me, and anyone else, this could never be a “good deal”….war is never a “good deal” and the toll on the military and our country done by his “good deal” will never be repaired…I just hate this guy and his entire family…geez…

Well…just read an article that made me laugh out loud on the new attack that JEB! is trying to level against Obama and Hillary…and it goes like this…that Iraq was in control and everything would have been just fine if that darn Obama would have just kept up the policies of ole GW…and that ISIS is the fault of Obama, too since something, something….yeah, I know…you’re laughing, too at this bit of absurdist revision of history…never mind that the entire upheaval in the middle east was caused by his lying brother and his cronies who lied and lied us into a fake war that they wanted…and that ole GW’s policy of disbanding the Iraqi army with nothing to take it’s place is what is fueling ISIS now….most of it’s leadership comes from the officer class of the army who were summarily dismissed by Bremer, the idiot. So, I can’t wait for the rebuttal by Hillary who has been more and more of an attack dog against the repubs on the campaign trail and won’t let JEB! slide on this one…should be fun to watch….
A better question to ask…
Well…there has been a little uproar with the media in the past few days when many of them have been asking the repub presidential contenders the question “would you still invade Iraq with what we know now?”….but, that is the wrong question for me…the real question that should be asked is “would you allow your administration to manufacture a reason to take the country to war?” I admit that would be a pretty easy one to answer….and, I’m not sure if it would be pertinent or not, but what it would do is stop the media sanitizing how we got involved in Iraq in the first place and remind everyone that ole GW and Cheney lied to the world and America almost 200 times in the run up to the war. That needs to be shouted from the rooftops…especially since a lot of the liars from ole GW’s administration are getting back in place for Jeb’s run and are part of Rubio’s, too….that would be a story that I would like to see run somewhere in the media…geez…

Well…have been thinking about the nonsense that has been going on about ole Jeb’s response to the Iraq war question that went something like this…”knowing what we know now, would you go to war in Iraq?”…..and ole Jeb fumbled it for almost a week before he said no…but, that’s not the real question here since they DID know what we know now….ole Jeb’s brother W and Cheney knew then that there were no WMD’s and that Saddam was no threat to anyone but his own people…but they lied to us and went to war because they wanted a war…and wanted to reward their buddies in the MIC with war profits that they couldn’t steal if there was no war. It makes me almost puke when I hear the repubs changing the question away from the fact that they lied us into a war that killed hundreds of thousands of people and cost trillions…almost making it seem that the Iraq war is just a “hypothetical” as ole Jeb seems to think it is….geez….

Well…read this little nugget of crazy the other day but forgot about it until I was reading the paper today….as you know, ole Jeb is running for president and guess who he has as one of his “top” advisers on foreign policy….ole GW…yep, that GW, the one who manufactured evidence and lied us into a war that has cost almost 3 trillion dollars…and Jeb is supposed to be the smart one? And, he went on at Liberty University the other day that anyone else that would have been president at the time would have done the same thing given the “facts” that they had…..no, Jeb, because any other president who didn’t have Darth Cheney as their VP wouldn’t have had a the “facts” that you had…the lies that there were wmd, that Saddam was working on a nuclear weapon….and on and on….I’m not sure what is the more stupid thing…to invade Iraq in the first place…killing hundreds of thousands and setting the stage for ISIS to rise in the power vacuum, or to know how big a mistake it was and still support it….that from the “smart” Bush….Jeb is just as dumb as GW and we don’t need another moron in the White House…geez…

Well…I am just so angry at the media for allowing the idiots that pushed the Iraq war for no reason to chime in on the current strife or civil war that is going on there. Let’s just remember that all of these loud mouths, like Graham, McCain, Feith, Cheney and the rest of the couldn’t get it right squad were just dead wrong on everything about Iraq, and yet we have the media treating them like very serious people and allowing them to bang the drums for war again. Remember one more thing, they are wrong now, again….this new war is certainly a result of the constant litany of mistakes ole GW and his cronies made…especially thinking that the sectarian violence that had been suppressed for a hundred years by military force could be disarmed with platitudes and money….and now these same folks want to destroy what is left of our military by sending them back to Iraq for more of the same nonsense….what a bunch of idiots….geez…
