Well…ole trump was in my state of Michigan today in front of a crowd of bused in workers who were being paid their full wages to make up the crowd….let’s start with that…how many of these workers would still have a job if it wasn’t for Obama (and Bush) and the bailout of the auto companies that would never had happened if trump had been *president at the time? I know it is probably better for someone on the line to have some paid time off to just stand around instead of work, but how can they look at this sex offender, liar and be anywhere near him? Then, there was the theme of the speech, that he is going to cut the mileage requirements for American made cars….and the idiots ate that one up when it will cost them almost $2,000 dollars over the life of the car in higher fuel costs…and the relating increase in pollution and health problems. The one unintended consequence that this fool and his cronies don’t understand is that relaxing these regulations will make American manufacturers less competitive in the world and cede leadership in technology to everyone else. Do you really think the Japanese are going to go backward in technology? Nope, and cost conscious customers who are used to buying Japanese cars will buy even more of them if they ignore the relaxed regulations and deliver cars that are 20% more efficient than American cars that are built to lower fuel economy standards. This fool idea seems to be hatched in trumps 1950′s thinking about almost everything, from women’s rights to how the world works and will do nothing but gut our economy as people flee our less efficient cars. Moron…..impeach….

This is growth of government?
Well…haven’t been able to write much lately and I’m not sure what the cause is just yet….it could be spring fever…who knows? What I did want to talk about today is the misconception that the repubs are trying to sell that the Obama administration has expanded government regulation more that any president in history and is taking away our freedoms and strangling business…blah, blah, blah…when the opposite is true. Just compare the the costs of the last three years of ole GW’s to the first three years of Obama’s and you’ll see that the regulatory costs and the sheer number of new regulations was significantly higher under ole GW…costing business and individuals billions of dollars and piling on the red tape. I know that none of this means anything to the fact-challenged repubs…they think lies repeated often enough magically turn into the truth….and how can you argue with that?
