Well….if you read the previous on on Sarah Huckabee Sanders and my feelings that we have to be better than the thugs and racists that a running this country right now, and we do, but if the institutions that are supposed to make sure this country survives won’t do their jobs (I’m talking to you congress) then we the people have to do something, then we have to make the criminals and liars understand that what they are doing is unacceptable and expose their crimes to everyone….and part of that is to register the disgust we feel with all of the enablers of the thug in chief…to make sure that their behavior is not further normalized…that the lies are not normalized, that their destruction of the norms of the US is not further normalized…I can understand why the restaurant owner did what she did….that she just couldn’t bear what Sanders is helping to do to this country and did her little part to strike back…after all, this is what used to happen in this country when the leaders had a sense of shame and people called them out on their bad behavior…but that was sacrificed to the repubs lack of any morality or integrity so I guess we have to do something individually to try to protect this country…it’s all part of the resistance that many of us try to do every day…maybe we do have to bring a gun to a gunfight…and then try to fix it when we win….

I’m a little torn about this…
Well…I’m sure you’ve read by now that Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her family were turned away from a restaurant in Virginia late last week as a matter of conscience by the owner, and my first reaction to that was that it served her right for being the vicious, racist liar that she is, but on second thought those of us on the left are supposed to be better than that…I realize the damage that Sanders and trump and their cronies are doing to this country but if we keep this up, we are no better than they are….and by any objective measure we are…we care about people, we care about everyone in this country, not just the rich or people who voted for us…we care about women and their continued struggle for equality and to control their own bodies…we care about fairness and good schools and equality for all of the people in this country…we care about the rule of law and revere our constitution and the right to vote. All of us are immigrants or have them in our backgrounds and we on the left understand that it is our duty to help others when they need it and to keep families that need our help together….and that brings me to the golden rule…probably the one thing that informs my moral underpinnings..”do unto others as you would have them do to you” …kicking even bad people out of a restaurant for their political views and actions is not who we are and it certainly doesn’t meet the golden rule…we need to be better…
Lies and lying liars…
Well….just got back from riding the bike (no skipping for the third day in a row!) and I thought I’d do the last one for the month. I’m sure you’ve heard by now about the White House correspondents dinner and the roasting of the trump “administration” by the comedian Michelle Wolf…and the outrage, outrage, I tell you, about her calling out Sarah Sanders for lying to us every day from the podium in the WH. Now these snowflakes can’t take being told the truth? I wonder if truth to them is like Kryptonite…that if they get too close to it it will kill them? I had the thought the other day about how they can keep doing it day in and day out…I’m not sure about you but if I lied as much as she does it would corrode my well being but it appears like she and the other lying liars in this administration thrive on the lies, and the media does, too…after all, they keep letting them get away with it…for just once, I’d like to see one of the WH correspondents just get up and leave when she lies…maybe the rest of them would follow…we can only hope…geez…
Some small bites…
Well….sitting here waiting for the Falcon Heavy launch after I filed my last taxes, so I thought I’d do a few small bites instead of a long one for now….you know how fricking ridiculous the idiot trump is, but he went full Nazi yesterday in a speech from Ohio calling the dems lack of applause for idiot boy “treasonous”… again showing that this ignorant boor has no idea what treason is…but I can tell him…hey trump, treason is working with a foreign power to subvert our democracy…is that simple enough for you? Do you recognize that? We do, and you are going to jail for it….how sick do you have to be to be that needy? To just HAVE to have people applaud every idiotic thing you say and do? Oh, and it came out yesterday that idiot boy and his Huckster press secretary lied their asses off when they tried to justify firing Comey, saying that the rank and file had lost confidence in his leadership…now, this can’t be true, and it was proven to be nothing but lies from internal documents that were acquired by some news organization by the freedom of information act…and it can’t be true since trump and his minions don’t know the definition of leadership…certainly no one in his “administration” shows any….okay….that’s enough for now…might be back for another one later but I need to watch the launch first….
