Well…you know, I could write a little bit about Macron trying to engage trump at the G-7 summit but trump just stared into the distance and talked about the weather….but no, don’t feel like it…I did get out and have a couple this aft with K and that was fun…and I did go over to look at the cars but that was a little disappointing and redundant…so I wasn’t there long…but, I did decide to only ride once to give my legs a little rest and they are thanking me a lot right now…not hobbling around here as much as normal and that is a good thing…I had been thinking that it was permanent damage that I was going to have to live with it…I think I did get the leak fixed in the car since there were no spots under it after driving around all day and that is a relief…but, it’s still not running right and I may need to put a new set of wires on it since these are over 6 years old and I have been holding them together with blue silicone…and that is about twice the recommended life for the wires…okay, it’s cocktail time and I want to catch up on some tv shows on the server before the indy car race comes on later….

August 24th
Well…it’s another 5:04 morning today and I may stop talking about it since it appears to be the new normal and who wants to read about normal? I really hate that it is starting to stay dark later and later in the morning and that it is only 52 out there which is borderline for getting on the bike right now…so I am going to go wash the car here in a few minutes instead and let the sun warm things up some before I go out…I was nice and parked my car across the lot so the guys replace wood on the building could get their trucks closer and then the sprinklers came on and left the car covered in huge ugly water spots and I can barely see through the windshield…so I’ve dug out the quarters and will be heading out after I have some coffee…but I have to detour since they have the street blocked off for the mud run sponsored by the church behind me and that is just damn annoying…oh, well….my thumb still hurts where I smacked it earlier and I keep whacking it on the bike and that is not fun…I’m glad I’m taking the weekend off to heal up some since I am really sore everywhere but I think I am going over to 28th street to look at the cars today…but I need to see Man U play at 10 first and have a bagel with my coffee before I get moving…more later…
Weird car stuff…
Well…when I was pulling out to head over to the house today, I looked back at my parking spot and saw there was a small spot of coolant left from the car and the only thing I could think of was damn, not now…just don’t need some car problems right now…but after having the hood open the other day to put a new set of plugs in it, I noticed that the entire hose that runs from the radiator to the overflow tank was wet and couldn’t figure it out…so, tonight, it was bugging me so I went out and took the hose off and it had collapsed inside and was completely plugged off…it was funny that the thing felt like a wet noodle and I couldn’t blow any air through it…so, I hopped on the bike and rode over to autozone to get a new piece and they sold me some cool fuel injection hose for only 2 bucks that should last as long as I own the car…so, I think I fixed the coolant leak and it was easy as could be…at least I’ll keep my fingers crossed that it’s fixed…we’ll see next week since I won’t drive my car again until Monday….
Damn, I did it again…
Well…as you can see, I completely forgot to do a second one today and I am going to blame being busy as heck for the first time in years…but, I just had to talk a little about the idiot trump’s latest meltdown and I’m still laughing about it…or I would be if it wasn’t so completely unhinged…after idiot boy went off on the head of the fed for not lowering interest rates, calling him a bigger enemy than China…a guy that trump appointed by the way…China announced that it was increasing tariffs on lots of American products including a 25% one on cars and trumpy boy just lost it…going on twitter to say “Our great American companies are hereby ordered to start looking for an alternative to China including bringing your companies home and making your products in the US…” Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the repub party the one that keeps shouting socialism every time that anyone proposes a little regulation for the unfettered power of business? But now, all of them are silent when the leader of their party “orders” all businesses to do the governments bidding and help him attack China…sounds like central planning to me, a hallmark of communism where the government told everyone what to do and how to do it…hey, repubs…how’s this crazy ass that you continue to support working out for you? Unless you do something about the demented idiot you put in the WH, it’s going to be a bloodbath for you in 2020…oh, and by the way, after trump started attacking the fed and China today, the stock market crashed another 600+ points, wiping out hundreds of billions of dollars in retirement savings for anyone who is lucky enough to have a 401k…oh, and one last piece of derangement that you should know about today…idiot boy has threatened to burn down everyone’s 401k’s if you don’t vote for him….okay, it’s 25th amendment time, folks….Pence, are you listening? geez….

Well…I have a new game to play called guess what time it is that I am going to play when I wake up every morning…I will confess that with today’s performance, I’m not very good at it…guessed that it was 4:34 when it was only 4:04…and that means I’ve been up since 4:04 and that really sucks…I am just so worn out that I should take another day off today but I can’t…need to get electrical and paint prep work done today so I can paint the bathroom Monday…didn’t sleep for crap either, so there may be a nap this afternoon when soccer is on…couldn’t believe how much I hurt on the bike yesterday with my back and hands just screaming in pain throughout the entire second ride and I’m not sure why that would be…I mean my hands hurt and cramp up some on most days but yesterday they were so numb I couldn’t feel to shift the bike…I did get over 3200 miles yesterday and that leaves me with just over a thousand to do to break the record…I guess that’s something…I really should clean some around here today but will probably let that go until the weekend…will be worn out by the time I get back here today so I won’t be dong much….more later…

Well…it’s been a damn busy day with doing 36 miles on the bike, running errands, and working on the parking brake on the car today, so I’m a little late coming here for this one…with the majestic stupidity of the idiot trump’s attempt to buy Greenland from Denmark, and his temper tantrum when Denmark said “are you nuts?”, there has been a lot of speculation on where idiot boy got the idea…and now we know it came from someone that rivals trump in stupidity, Tom Cotton. Who knew that Greenland was “essential” to our national security? I wonder how we have survived for so many years without it? That is the reason that Cotton gave for whispering in trump’s ear to get him to propose it to the Danish PM when he was supposed to meet with her in September…and when she just laughed at the idea, trump pulled his normal bullshit move whenever a strong woman puts him in his place and called her “nasty” and that she couldn’t talk to him that way. How much longer do we have to endure the first admistration in this country’s history that is run entirely on stupidity? According to Rachel Bitecofer, the pollster who predicted the great blue wave of 2018, only until November of next year at the latest…trump’s paths to reelection are getting narrower every day and the spectre of trump being perp walked is growing larger every day…yay…
August 22nd
Well…another 4:54 morning today and you would think that there would be at least one morning when I would sleep until later than that…isn’t the lack of sleep supposed to build up until you have to sleep in? I think I do need to change the timer on the coffee maker so I’ll have it ready when I get up and I won’t have to wait for it to run…as I am right now…had a pretty good day yesterday and got the hand rail done at the house so that leaves me with the closet fixtures and the bathroom to finish and the necessary work will be done and I just have to wait for the windows to be installed and I can get the water turned on….still have lots of painting to be done but that is easy stuff that can be done any time…I am taking the day off from the house today since I have to get supplies to finish the bathroom and need to make two grocery runs since I am out of food and have been eating weird stuff out of the freezer…well…not really weird stuff but food that is not a first choice…and I have laundry to do and some general cleaning to do around here along with getting two rides in…it’s funny that I have enough to do with errands today that I have three lists on the pad instead of just the Meijers list…so, I guess I should get going….after a little more coffee that is…more later….
Toddler diplomacy…
Well…the stupidist person in the world is at it again…and this one is leaving the entire world shaking it’s collective head. If you haven’t heard…the idiot in chief heard somewhere (fox news) that it would be a good idea to buy Greenland from Denmark..yep, you heard that right…idiot boy is trying to distract everyone from his racist rantings by trying to buy Greenland from Denmark…never mind that Greenland is an independent, autonomous territory of Denmark with it’s own limited government and parliament, trump thinks that it is just another real estate deal that he can work to make some profit for him in some way….now, the reaction from the Danes is right on point…it’s largest political party called trump a delusional idiot for thinking buying the island would even be possible…and the PM of Denmark added that there won’t be any talks about it at a scheduled meeting that was to take place in September…but, once idiot boy heard that, he started to pout and cancelled the meeting, saying that there was no point in a meeting anymore…throwing his little temper tantrum in a continuation of his toddler diplomacy where he thinks if he stamps his feet and holds his breath…he will get what he wants…but, the world now has his number and is just laughing at his ignorance…I am too…geez…
August 21st
Well…hey, made it all the way to 5:14 this morning….at least that’s a half hour more than yesterday and I’ll take any little victory I can get…and I slept well enough to have really weird dreams that took me back to my college days and a final exam that the professor didn’t give us any study materials for except for some half blank pages…why that would come up now after being done with college for so many years is a little puzzling…I had an okay day yesterday and got my car insurance sorted out after the company didn’t send me any renewal paperwork…and it only went up about 50 bucks so that is cool…have that paid for another year so I don’t have to think about it until next August….I got the railing built at the house yesterday using some barnwood that was in the garage but I did get my first hammer injury when I whacked my left thumb and split it open like a tomato with blood everywhere…but I made a bandage out of paper towel and painter’s tape and was able to finish it up…looks kind of ugly this morning but doesn’t hurt much so I’ll be back there today to put up the handrail on the attic stairs…making some good progress and should have everything done by the end of next week…I hope…but I do need to wedge in my Lake Michigan swim next week so maybe it will take until after labor day…I am happy with the new battery and spark plugs that I put in the car…it starts really well and has not missed at all since I did it…I may have to put a new set of plug wires on it, too, since the ones on it have been on it since I bought the car almost 7 years ago and I’ve been holding them together with blue silicone…we’ll see…more later….
Hey, let’s have a few more felonies…
Well…running late for this one today…have been busy as heck all day and, with just getting the second ride in, I am just sitting down for the first time today…not sure if you read this or not today but the idiot trump appears to have committed felonies on both side of the Atlantic with his last financial disclosure form here and with his required financial reporting on his golf courses in the UK. You would think that there would be some similarity between the two forms when dealing with the worth of the golf courses…but you would be wrong…there are so many discrepancies of how much the courses made in income and what they are worth, you would never think they were the same properties…and to manipulate the worth for tax purposes is a felony on both sides of the pond and shows that idiot boy has not learned anything about being a crook…I wonder if he knows that the statute of limitations on these felonies won’t be over until after he is out of office and he can be charged both here and in the UK…it probably doesn’t matter…there are enough crimes he will be charged with after he leaves that he won’t ever see the light of day again…and I can’t wait for that day to come…
