Well…as much as I hate the smarmy Scott Walker, I hate him even more today as he told an audience yesterday what he will do to labor when he is elected president…if you hate unions and the great things they have done to lift workers into the middle class..you are going to just love this idiots plan to make the entire US into a right to work country, to take the right to organize and bargain for pay and benefits from all federal workers, and make it almost impossible for unions to stay certified….yep…we now hear the Koch brothers coming through loud and clear with this crap…my question to ole Scotty is: Why do you hate US workers so much? All this coming from a guy who has never held a real job in his life..since his early 20’s, ole Scotty has been in government of some form…never once having to actually work for a living like union members do…how anyone can listen to this idiot talk about destroying the middle class and still vote for him? I know, they have the rubes snowed somehow so they just keep voting against their own interests….I am just glad this moron will never be president…geez…

September 14th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and a i got some stuff done so that was unusual…slept okay last night but I think I have some kind of a bug today since I am just so darn tired I just want to go back to bed…and I’m coughing again, too, so maybe that’s the reason….had a weird dream with James Franco in it for some reason and that is right up there at the top of the strange scale…I am still sore all over my back and I can’t figure out what that is about…I usually hurt in my lower back but this time I’m stiff and sore above that…makes it hard to turn and I wonder how hard that is going to make the workout and bike ride today…I did get the bathroom done yesterday and it really needed it…so, two days in a row getting things done is a pretty good record for me….not much to do today…I may have to take it a little easy until I can figure out my back problems and I do have to wait for the temp to come up again to get on the bike…and, I will come back for another one of these that won’t be about Hammond B-3’s….more later…
September 13th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I finally got some things done around here…my kitchen is cleaned and today will be the bathroom’s turn…slept okay last night but feel a little slow this morning and I’m not sure why…it might be the antihistamine I took to try to unplug my sinuses…who knows? I am still sore everywhere and I am wondering if it is the weather change we’ve had the past few days…it is only in the 40’s right now so it looks like another wait to get on the bike today…but, it is going to warm up this week and I am happy that the cold is going to stay away for a while….not much to do today…still have leftovers to eat so no cooking and the Lions start today but late so that will be something…more later…
The B-3 count increases…
Well…as you know, I’ve been doing this thing where, when I listen to music, I try to see if the band plays a Hammond B-3 organ…not sure why I started this but it has become a little bit of an obsession…so the count goes up today….Buddy Guy, CSN, Lynrd Skynrd, and Donald Fagen….more to come….
September 12th
Well…sitting here watching the Chelsea/Everton match and I am smiling a little since Everton is up 2-0 in the first 30 minutes…not sure why I hate Chelsea so much but I do…it was an okay day yesterday but a busy one with errands and pool…which I won and that was cool…slept okay but had to get up early since I did need to hit the grocery store before the match and that started at 7:30…and, I am waiting for the temp to come up for the first time since April so I can get on the bike…it is only 46 and I need it to be at least 55 to go out in a t-shirt…so, it looks like I’ll watch the whole match while I’m waiting…I do need to get some cleaning done today with both the bathroom and the kitchen needing work….don’t need to cook today so that will make it a little easier to get some work done….not much to do today…Michigan and Man U play at the same time so the remote is going to get a workout and then Sate later…a full day of sports today…more later…

Well…the clown car is one person emptier today as Rick Perry has quit the race for the repub nomination…and I can’t be happier that this moron is out of the race…and even funnier is his parting comment that the repub field is the “strongest in generations”..okay, I am just laughing my butt off about that one…strong compared to him maybe but strong? When Donald Trump is the leader in the field and the rest of them are just idiots is not the definition of strong…delusional maybe, but not strong or any semblance of it…now, I am just waiting for ole Scotty to get out after the Kochs decide that he can’t win either…going to be a fun month or so….
September 11th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I did get a few things done…the car is finally cleaned after the run to Mt. P Monday and that is cool….slept okay last night and woke up sore again so I’ve already taken something for it….that is getting old but the tendons in both elbows hurt like crazy today and I’m not sure what that is about…I did have to take a run out in the dark last night and I still love my new headlights…I haven’t been out in the dark in months and it was pretty cool going out with the top down….didn’t get any cleaning done yesterday and won’t today with the busy day that I have going today…but, cleaning is a weekend thing anyway and I’ll get it all done tomorrow or Sunday….I did get 1900 miles for the year yesterday and that makes it 500 miles until 25,000…hope to get there by the end of October…..not much to do today…nope, that’s not true…have two errands and pool this aft so I will be in the car starting at 10:30….but I will make some cash so that is cool…more later…
Pretty cool discovery…
Well…going to get off the politics thing for today and talk about a really cool discovery that was just announced today….spelunkers in Africa were exploring a cave system and one of them saw a 7 inch wide crack that looked interesting so he wedged himself into it, and about 20 feet in, the crack expanded into a huge cavern that was filled with stalagtites hanging from the roof….but, that was not the cool thing…on the floor of the cave were some large bones and human looking skulls that the cavers took pictures of and took to a paleontologist who just freaked out when he saw them…to make a long story short, they went back to the cave and discovered a brand new human ancestor, Homo Naledi and added a new branch to our family tree…even in these days when you think everything has been discovered, just a bunch of guys having fun move the science forward and help us understand the history of us..pretty fricking cool the way I see it….
September 10th
Well…as you can see, the site was down this morning but it was just a small glitch so that was cool….slept okay last night and had weird dreams that paralleled Heinlein’s “the Puppet Masters” and even had another one that I don’t remember…didn’t get much done again yesterday but I have already been out to wash the car today so that is something….it was just so dirty from running in the rain Monday that I just had to clean it even though it looks like rain again right now…need to do the glass later but need to get the bike ride in first…have to lube the bike since I rode it in the mud and it sounds like some kind of dying animal with all the squeaks and groans…I am sore again today but it just the moving tendonitis that I have had for years so I’m not going to dwell on it…not much to do today…need to cook since all of the leftovers are gone and I am going to make some bad food that I have been craving lately…more later…
Magical thinking…
Well…ole JEB! just came out with his tax plan he will enact if he is elected….okay, I know you laughed at that one…and that is something else we are going to laugh at since it is filled with magical thinking and based on the discredited economics that blew up the deficit under ole GW. The entire plan is just more and more tax cuts for business and the rich and makes the assumption (disproved many, many times) that cutting taxes raises revenue; the old Laffer curve nonsense that even Saint Ronnie had to abandon after the deficits exploded…he was even sane enough to follow the evidence after the cuts and to understand that the only way to raise revenue is to raise taxes…something that this new crop of repubs just won’t do with their stupid pledges to Grover Norquist to never raise taxes. I don’t wonder why ole JEB!’s tax plan looks just like his idiot brother’s…they were the fevered dreams of the same set of advisers so with JEB!, you get 4 more years of ole GW…and we know how well that worked out…geez….
