Well…after the debacle with CNN giving the idiot trump an hour to continue to lie and lie, with a hopped up MAGA audience who cheered sexual assault we now can say that CNN is no longer a news organization at all…it is just fox news lite and it is being ruined by the right wing asshole who bought it…just like they all do…like musk did with twitter and bezos did with WAPO, chris licht is followin the murdoch model that he used to ruin the WSJ and how the editors at the NYT are doing…making the news instead of reporting it…and that exactly what CNN’s new owner crowed to his staff after trump got done attacking and lying all night…the they “make the news”…and to me that makes it all opinion, not news…can we now start taxing the billionaires before they ruin anything else? geez…

George Santos is charged…
Well…I think you may remember me talking about the fraud George Santos, the repub who was elected in New York despite lying about everything…his background, experience, etc…and the repubs elected him anyway? Today, the compulsive liar was arrested on 13 counts including wire fraud, money laundering, stealing public funds, and lying to congress…just your typical repub these days…there was something fishy about this guy from the start when the press learned that he has used multiple names and was wanted in Brazil for another fraud and theft of credit cards…but that didn’t matter to repubs at all, including kevin mccarthy who should never have allowed him to be seated…but he needed this criminal to get the majority and become speaker so he did nothing about it…so, how long do you think it will be before ole kevvie does anything now? Ha, ha…yeah…never…geez…

Well…that didn’t take long…the jury came back in what was about an hour to find the idiot boy guilty of defamation and battery of E.Jean Carroll…don’t have many details yet but I did want to get this out there…back later with more

Well…it’s been another busy days so I’m late coming here…but I did want to do a short one on the latest trump trial…today is going to be the start of jury deliberations in the E. Jean Carroll case that has been going on for the past few weeks…you know the one where she charges that idiot boy raped her in a dressing room at a department store back in the 90’s…the thing to remember is that idiot boy’s lawyer didn’t call one witness to refute what Carroll had to say as her lawyer put on witnesses who said trump did the same thing to them…it sounds to me that finally, idiot boy is going to pay for his bullshit…literally, and I hope it costs him lots of money…and then we call all call him what he is…a rapist…geez…
Joe, just pay the bills…
Well…with the repub morons intent on crashing the economy unless Joe Biden pays the ransom of cutting everything that normal Americans depend on to live, I have just one thing to say to Joe: just pay the bills and ignore the repubs…you have it written right into the 14th amendment that the US WILL pay it’s bills…it doesn’t say you have to say pretty please to the hostage takers…and the debt ceiling is just a construct…it’s not in the constitution anywhere…it’s just an accounting mirage that is a courtesy, not a law…and the repubs raised it 4 times during the idiot trump’s term with no hostage taking and no cuts to anything…so, Joe, just ignore them and pay the bills and then let’s let the SC tell us that the plain language of the amendment is not what it is…and they will…geez…

Well…I sometimes comment on other countries even though ours is quickly becoming a war zone with daily deadly shootings but that is not what this is about..I wanted to talk about the 150 million pounds that the British government spent on king chuck’s coronation over the past week…and that dovetails nicely where I read that the UK has over 2500 food pantries in a country half the size of Michigan where almost 50% of of the population goes since they can’t afford enough food after the stupidity of brexit and the ruling tory party (or conservatives) doesn’t care that their people are starving and losing their homes…so I have a suggestion…since king chuck is worth billions, do you think he might match the taxpayer money spent on his stupid coronation and help people be able to eat…150 million pounds would buy a lot of food…now I get a lot of news on Mastodon from the UK and it’s heartbreaking to read of people my age who have had to give up their pets since they can’t afford to feed and take care of them anymore…no wonder the liberals and green party took almost a 1,000 local seats from the conservatives in the election last week…just like here in the states, you can’t trust any conservative to care about people…just stealing everything that is not nailed down…and sometimes they even steal the nails….geez…
Eight take immunity deals…
Well…I know I’ve been saying for quite a while now that the idiot trump is in deep legal shit down in Georgia, and it got just a bit deeper yesterday with the announcement by Fani Willis that 8 of the fake electors involved in trying to steal the election have taken immunity deals in exchange for their testimony…and these kinds of deals are not offered lightly and the lawyer for the defendants has been sanctioned for trying to keep the deals from them, knowing what they know and how potentially damaging that evidence will be to people farther up the chain…so, it appears to me that she is going after people like Mark Meadows and any number of lawyers from that time in the WH…and by extension, I think she is going after idiot boy since some of the conspiracy meeting were held in the WH…and if they were there, trump was in on it…this sure sounds like a RICO law violation to me…and that is 20 years in the slammer…go get ’em, Fani….geez…
Never more corrupt…
Well…I know I’ve talked about the corruption of the Thomas’s a fee times now but damn, the hits keep on coming on an almost daily basis…and there has been no one on the court in it’s history who has been more corrupt than Clarence Thomas. Today’s scandal is about an out and out bribe that Leonard Leo paid to Ginni Thomas…this guy is the one who has made it his life’s work to corrupt the US court system with unqualified hack judges who won’t follow the law but will rule in favor of repubs special interests…I guess now we know what a SC ruling is worth to this guy who paid ginni 80K over the course of a year where Thomas voted to gut the voting rights act that gave repubs across the country the green light to gerrymander the hell out of red states so no dem can ever win there….and this is on top of the other times Thomas took a half million dollar vacation and another when a rich donor bought his mom’s house and is letting her live there for free…so yeah, we’ve never seen corruption this blatant…but have the repubs said a word about it? Nope nothing at all…they are just fine if one of theirs is a crook and they continue to get the rulings they want…impeach this crook…geez…
Idiot update…
Well…just got back from the second ride and there are a few things going on in the news about idiot boy’s many, many legal problems…first, in the suit brought by E. Jean Carroll about trump raping her, it appears that the defense is not going to call any witnesses or put on any defense at all…who came up with that brilliant tactic we can all guess…from what I’ve seen in the news, he’s in deep shit there and the trial should be over next week…possibly a verdict by the end of the week…then in the cases that Jack Smith is running, Mike Pence spent 5 hours in front of the grand jury being questioned by Jack smith himself about the planning for the January 6th attacks…and Pence was in most of the meetings so he knows what went on and who was there…and this is on top of Mark Meadows and a bunch of the other plotters who testified earlier…in the stolen documents case, they have video of people hiding boxes of documents after they were subpoenaed…so obstruction of justice in the very least and you know no one does anything without idiot boy telling them to….so, closer and closer…and this time he’s not getting away with it……tick tock….geez…

Well…I really do need to thank the people behind the ballot initiative that took plotting of the voting districts out of the hands of politicians so the repubs couldn’t gerrymander and cheat to keep control of the government here in Michigan…now, if I’m honest, the dems did it, too but not anywhere to the extent of the repubs…and the follow on for that was, with fair districts, the dems took control of all parts of Michigan government for the first time in 40 years…and the result of that is we have a government that works for the people again…not for the crazy right wing assholes that were running it before…you know the ones, who would have made 50+% of the people in Michigan second class citizens by taking away the control of their bodies…and do you know why there haven’t been any anti trans legislation here? Because the dems control the government…in fact, they have expanded discrimination protection to all LGBTQ people in this state…and have passed sensible gun control legislation that mandates background checks for all gun sales…it is just refreshing that we now have a government that is not run by a small group of right wing assholes….let’s keep it up, Michigan…
