Well…just a quick one on some good news for our side in a poll that came out this weekend….this one asked people what their most important issue is for the election this fall…and get this, the top spot is “saving democracy” with 31% and that plays right into our messaging that has been going on since January 6th…that the dems will do everything in their power to save and protect democracy while the repubs are doing everything they can to destroy it….and our candidates for senate are polling so well that ole mitch mcconnell has just about given up ever being majority leader again and 538 has given us a 66% chance of holding the senate and holding the house is getting closer every day…but there is still work to do and I need everyone to go out and vote for our side…this is the most important election in the country’s history and we need to knock the repubs out for good…let’s do this….geez…

Searching for a topic…
Well…have been searching for a topic for today for quite a while now and am not having any luck so far…I did get a laugh a few minutes ago when I read the latest excuse why the idiot trump had 40 boxes of classified material in his tacky golf club and it has left me shaking my head….idiot boy needed all that material so he could write his “memoirs” according to some random congressman who I guess has been chosen to go out and lie to the public…and he also claimed that every other president has gotten to look at his papers for just that reason…but the key here is that none of them ever took boxes and boxes of them and stored them in their basement and then refused to give them back when the FBI came calling….the National Archives is always in control of them and they can only be copied after a review of how classified they are…and really, do you think that idiot boy is “writing” his memoirs? Hell, he can barely read let alone write and what purpose would nuclear secrets serve? Was he going to explain how nuclear weapons work? Yeah, that made me laugh, too…this coming from the idiot who said that windmills cause cancer and who is dumber than a box of rocks….could someone please indict this asshole soon? geez…
Ha, ha, ha…what did they expect?
Well…if it wasn’t bad enough that the repubs put up some seriously lousy candidates for the senate who are trailing in the polls…now it’s being reported that the repub senate committee is running out of money after raising 173 million dollars for the 33 senate races the repubs are in and only spending 20 million on ads and having only 28 million cash on hand left…and my only question is what did they expect with putting rick Scott in charge of this slush fund? You know ole ricky…the guy whose company stole billions from Medicare and had to pay the biggest fine in history of a billion dollars to settle the case…and yet these repub geniuses put this guy in charge of almost 200 million dollars? How much do you want to bet he skimmed off much of the 125 million that is not accounted for? How the heck to you spend 12 million dollars on an Amex card? Yep, that’s one of the bills that have been revealed but that is about it…no accounting, no nothing for the 125 mil that is missing….You know, it does make me kind of laugh when these repubs are taken for cash by one of their own and doesn’t leave much to spread their lies in the senate races…and, as I said the other day, this committee is canceling almost 15 million in ads that were to run this fall since they are almost out of cash…ha, ha, ha…mitch isn’t going to be majority leader of the senate and it is finally starting to sink in that maybe running a tv charlatan or a washed up running back for the senate wasn’t a good idea…poor babies….ha. ha. ha…again…geez…
Don’t be fooled Ohio…
Well…as I sit here waiting for the pizza to warm up, I thought I’d do one of these before I head out to the beach….Ohioans, don’t be fooled over the next few months when your airwaves will be flooded by ads for the right wing asshole Jd Vance that will try to lie and lie to you and make him into a reasonable person…but the only thing you need to know is that the 28 million dollars that are to be spent come from a political slush fund run by mitch mcconnell…you know the guy…he stole 3 supreme court seats that led to women losing their right to control their own bodies and now with some states trying to ensure that these rights are restored…that, by the way, over 70% of the people in this country want…mitch is trying to pack the senate with trump wannabees that would pass federal laws that would make sure the states couldn’t do it…that guy…and Vance’s opponent, Tim Ryan, would do everything in his power to protect those rights along with social security and medicare…so there is not really any choice to be made here…trump junior or a fighter for the people…Ohioans, don’t be fooled..vote for Ryan…
Weisselberg pleads guilty to 15 felonies…
Well…gee…didn’t see this one coming except for forever…Alan Weisselberg, the guy who ran the trump orginization for 40 years just plead guilty to 15 counts of felony tax fraud, larceny, and a bunch of other counts for fraud that went on for decades…and given that nothing at the trump company happened without the idiot trump’s okay, we are finally on the road to holding the entire trump crime family accountable for their business model of committing as many crimes as they can. There have been reports that he would only get a 5 month sentence for all of these guilty pleas but the caveat is that if he refuses to testify in the other trials of trump and his cronies, the ag will ask for the maximum sentences which would put him in jail for the rest of his life…so it appears that we are just getting started seeing the trumps on the hotseat and it needs to speed up and we need to see a perp walk of trump and all of his kids…it can’t happen too soon…geez…
They are not good people…
Well… with Liz Cheney losing her primary to an election denying moron and the media still trying to rehabilitate her and Adam Kinzinger…let’s all just remember these are not good people…they voted with trump over 90% of the time and continued their attack on voting rights by voting against the restoration of the voting rights act that the supreme court gutted, voted against disclosure of presidential candidate tax returns, voted against the John Lewis voting rights act…and let’s not stop there, they both voted against abortion rights, transgender rights, and they both voted for cutting taxes on the super rich and corporations while trying to get the ACA repealed so that regular Americans would lose their healthcare….and they both never saw a war they didn’t love and were against getting out of Afghanistan even after we were spending money and lives there for 16 years….these are despicable people who only did one thing right…opposing a violent coup from the idiot trump…so, let’s not get too carried away…neither of these people are a “national treasure”..they can be commended for their January 6th committee service but that is a very low bar to get over…it used to be all repubs would have opposed the fascism on the right..but no more..they love them some trump and the permission he has given them to be the worst people they can be….and these two went along until now…geez…
No news…senate races…
Well…it appears to be a slow news day so I think I’ll just start to write and see what happens….it looks like we may be able to keep the senate and even expand our majority there with our side being ahead in 3 races where we are trying to replace retiring repubs…in Pennsylvania, Fetterman leads the carpetbagger Oz by almost 10 point and the trends are favoring our side….in Ohio, Tim Ryan leads Vance by 4 or 5 points…and one outlier poll in Florida has Val Demmings ahead of Rubio by 4 points but that is just one poll and I really don’t think she is ahead but it is close….and even in Wisconsin Mandela Barnes is ahead of the Russian traitor Johnson by a few and there is a real chance that we could pick that one up, too…one big key in all of this is the repub senate election committee has pulled almost 15 million dollars in ads that were to run this fall since they are having fundraising problems and we are out raising them by 2 to 1….and the push from our side is going to be the extremism of even the “moderate” repub candidates and will pound them with the overturning Roe and the rush to take women’s rights away…a winning strategy since 72% of the people in this country want those rights restored….now we just need to hold the house and we can make new laws that will guarantee that women will keep their rights…fingers crossed…
The noose tightens…
Well…yeah, I’m running late today with doing the two rides, running some errands, going to the beach, and then mowing the lawn…so, it’s been a pretty busy day…but I did want to talk about some good news that came out of Georgia over the past couple of days…after trying to keep from testifying to the grand jury in Georgia by claiming immunity by being a sitting US senator, a judge called bullshit on Lindsey Graham and said he has to testify…and he has a choice to make…tell the truth and throw the idiot trump under the bus or perjure himself since you can’t take the fifth in front of a grand jury….whatever the choice, the noose it tightening around ole Lindsey and there is no way he can bullshit his way out of this one….he did try to get predominately black votes thrown out with his call to the SoS and that is against the law in Georgia….oh, and here’s the one that really made me smile…Rudy Giuliani has been informed that he is a target of the investigation into election interference in Georgia and has to testify next week after trying to get his testimony delayed by claiming that his doctor said he couldn’t fly because of some illness…and the judge in the case told him they would send him bus or train fare but his is going to testify when scheduled…he is going to jail along with Lindsey and the idiot trump….but I guess they’ll have to wait in line until after the feds are done with trump….some good news for a change…geez…
Here comes the IRS…
Well…if you listen to any of the bleating coming out of right about the IRS these days, it is getting pretty wild…in the Inflation Reduction Act or IRA that was just passed by congress, there is increased funding for more IRS agents to build the service back to about half the strength it was before the repubs started gutting it…and now the repubs are screaming about it and I wonder why? Could it be that they have been cheating on their taxes? Like writing off the vacation cabin as a work retreat or taking friends out to expensive dinners and writing those off as a business expense? Or just not paying taxes at all…you would think that someone is trying to drown their puppies the lies have gotten so wild….did you know that they are going to add 87,000 IRS agents and give them all M-16’s and they are going to come to your house to collect taxes at gunpoint? Or that they are going to confiscate your guns and cars and food to pay back taxes? Yeah, these are just a couple of examples that are being shouted into the air by the hyperventilating morons on the right…I wonder why they want to protect the millionaires and billionaires who cheat on their taxes to the tune of 165 billion dollars every year? Oh, yeah…they get paid by those cheaters to protect them so they don’t have to pay taxes…but, there is not a damn thing they can do about it…the law has passed and will be signed this week…and if I were a dem running, one ad at least would say “why is my opponent protecting billionaires who cheat on their taxes” or something like that…let ’em squeal…I’ve had enough of these traitors trying to ruin this country and steal everything that is not nailed down…and then they steal the nails…geez…
I guess we know what the 2 billion dollars was for…
Well…there has been rampant speculation since the Saudis gave Jared Kushner 2 billion dollars for an “investment” opportunity a few months back…was it a quid pro quo for all of the protection that he gave MBS for the murder of Khashoggi? Was it buying silence from both he and his FIL? With the revelation of the list of the documents that were seized from the idiot trump from his tacky golf club, it was found that he had in his possession a list of payroll records for US spies around the world…yep, the idiot had a list of spies and their compensation and lots of other info about them…and how much do you want to bet that the Saudis bought the document for their buddy Putin? Why else would they give 2 billion dollars to someone with no investment experience at all? Now, this is just another reason for the house to start up an investigation of just how and why jared got the Saudi money….and if idiot boy really did sell that document to them, it is a pure case of treason against the US and it is one of the most serious crimes that you can do…and you know the penalty for that…I wonder if they will find the Saudi ambassador’s fingerprints on that one? trump needs to be arrested today and let the traitor sit and rot in jail until his trial…and then be put away for the rest of his life…geez…
