Well…into the third day of not having a phone and I think it’s the little things that I use mine for that I miss the most…like the temperature…it’s always at hand when I had my phone and now it’s a pain in the butt to just find that out…and even the time…when I was out on the bike today, there was no way to figure out the time…well..I could have done it with the computer on the bike but that takes about 5 different screens to get to….and the ability to check the news any time I want I think I miss the most…I know I have the nice new laptop that has worked just too great since I got it, but the habit of using the phone for the quick stuff is still there…I reached for the phone this morning out of habit…and I even did that on the bike today since I check for texts all the time….oh, well…just one more day to go and things will be back to normal…I hope….and there is a new “Sharknado” on tonight….and I got the notice that my SS starts next month and and it is more than I expected so that was a pleasant surprise…..will have plenty to live on and even buy some of the things I have been needing…..

Well…another day of isolation here without a phone and it is getting pretty annoying….I did sleep okay last night and had dreams again so maybe the new mattress is working….I do seem to sleep better with it so that is cool….and, I took the day off the bike to wait for the new phone to come but it’s not going to get here til Monday….so, I’ll get on the bike in a few but after more coffee….not too sore this morning and my back is okay so the ride should be okay…..Tom stopped over to drop off some organic eggs last night and that was cool…can’t wait to see what the difference is from normal eggs….going to be a busy day for tv today…Ray Donovan comes back and the new Sharknado movie is on later so I’ll have to figure that out….more later….

Well…the damn phone was supposed to be here today but it looks like it won’t come until Monday…grrrr……just checked the tracking and I am a little irritated….and after staying off the bike to be here when it was delivered….oh, well…I did need a day off the bike so I guess that’s something…

Well…feel pretty crappy this morning and not having a phone is not helping…it’s weird being cut off from everything…and getting the new one set up is going to be a pain…I will  be off the bike today waiting for it to come fedex….didn’t get a lot done yesterday other than getting the new phone ordered and it looks like today will be consumed with getting connected again…..at least my back didn’t hurt much yesterday and it feels okay today so far….might be a good thing to rest it and my legs, too….okay…not feeling this right now so I think I’ll just have more coffee and veg for a while…..more later…

Well….had another phone die today and it is such a pain in the ass….and I won’t get a new one until tomorrow…and I had to pay for it since my warranty ran out on the last one….I did get a nice phone for only 129 bucks…a Samsung galaxy S-7…and the retail price is over 600 bucks so I guess I got a pretty good deal….but, it is still a pain….

Well…running a little late today and I just can’t get started….haven’t had any coffee yet and that may be part of it….had a pretty good day yesterday but I didn’t get much done…..was hoping to take a day off the bike but it didn’t rain enough to keep me from feeling guilty…and today looks the same…it’s only going to be in the 60’s today and that is pretty cold for Michigan in August…but it is not going to rain today so I’ll have to get out on the bike later….I did adjust the seat on the bike and that made the ride much more comfortable…not sure why I didn’t look at that earlier…not much to do today…no pool today since Tom has to work so I’ll just hang out and clean I guess…more later…

Well…running normally for a Thursday and I feel pretty good today…have slept pretty well and have had dreams for 3 days in a row now and that is really unusual….and my back is still just twinging but no real pain and that is a welcome relief….it has been an annoyance for the past month or so and it is good to have it gone…I know it will come back, probably later today, but I’ll take what I can get….didn’t get a lot else done yesterday but didn’t need to so I guess that works out…did get out in the sun for the second day in a row to try to even out the tan and I am still surprised how much damage 40 minutes will do…..no peeling but I can feel the tightness from it….I do need to get out on the bike here in a minute since there is fog out there and I love riding in it….more later….

Well…had a few things I wanted to comment on that really won’t support an entire post so I’m going to just noodle around a bit and and see if I can get them out of my head….the fighter planes were at it again today but they were right down in the weeds and many of them were in pairs that looked like a real dogfight…I think I watched them for 20 minutes today….that was a lot of fun….I did have to clean out my storage shed yesterday to make some room and ran across the manuscript for my first novel…written in cursive in ink on yellow legal pads…I think there are 12 of them and I may just transfer them to the computer so I’ll have a digital version of it…don’t have much else to do and the only computer copy was on 5 1/2 inch floppy disks that have long since disappeared…I thought it was lost to me and it was a really pleasant surprise to find them buried in a box with a bunch of cassette tapes….

Well…running a little early today with getting up a little early…slept okay last night and feel okay with being good again last night…my back was good most of the day yesterday after doing some heavy work that fixed it…but, the twinges are coming back this morning and it appears the pain will be back in a little while….oh, well….I did get a bunch of stuff done around here yesterday and I got a good bike ride in…I did adjust the position of the seat and that helped me get comfortable on it again and I did another small adjustment after I got back here so it will be interesting to see if that also helps….I did get out in the sun yesterday and got a little scorched…and only after 20 minutes or so on each side…but, it is helping get rid of the biker tan so I guess I can take it….not much to do today…need to clean more and get some resumes out but that is about it…more later….

Well…it was a day yesterday but that’s all I’ll say about it….my back was hurting all day and it is starting again today….thought I’d had it figured out but I guess not….slept okay last night but tossed and turned as always…would just like one night of the sleep that I remember…with that, I’m feeling a little slow today….but I’m hoping the coffee will help in a while….didn’t get much done yesterday but today I’ll have to do better….have to find some storage….and get some cleaning done….think I need to work on the bike, too, but will wait until thurs for that when I take a day off the bike for the rain…at least I’m hoping it rains…I do need a rest day to let the pain get out of my legs…oh, I do need to adjust the seat on the bike, too…I think it’s moved some and that may be making me uncomfortable on it…more later….
