Well…with the election news and being able to ride in shorts, it was a pretty good day today…didn’t go out until it was light since the radar said it was raining but it wasn’t so I got my 30 in just before the rain started…now the big question is do I have a cocktail tonight to celebrate? Not sure yet but maybe…started Arthur C. Clarke’s last novel today in the Space Odyssey trilogy called “3001, The Final Odyssey” and I’m enjoying getting back to some science fiction for a change and it’s one of the 35 books I got at the sale…I opened some weird mustard I got at aldis called dill pickle and I used it on some dogs today…not sure if I like it or not but I do like that aldis is being creative like with heat and sweet stuff I really like so I bought 2 more bottles of it…and at 1.49 a bottle, I can try it and toss it if I don’t like it…going to make the masala tomorrow and I’m glad I bought 5 pounds of jasmine rice with the coupon Tuesday…I guess the weather changes the world is going through has devastated rice production this year…and it’s so bad that Kelloggs is not using whole rice in their rice krispies anymore but a blend of wheat, rice and corn gluten…ick…so I wonder if I should stock up on it? Five pounds should last me a year or so and maybe something will change…who knows? Time to read…
