Well…damn, broke something under the car yesterday when I went out to meet K for a couple….sounds like a pipe hanger or a motor mount since something bangs when I start it….oh, well…car still drives fine so I’m not going to worry about it today…had a nice lunch with T yesterday that lasted quite a while and had a lot of laughs in it…but didn’t do anything else all day until I met up with K….and today is going to be just cooking and watching football…I did go out and get the 10 pound newspaper that was a waste of time and money…..never going to read one again….didn’t win the powerball last night so Saturday’s will be over 400 million….I need to win it….more later….

Well…running a little late today with getting the turkey in the brine a few minutes ago….used rosemary, thyme, sage, garlic, brown sugar and some veggie broth this year just for a little change….haven’t used sage before but it smelled so good that I had to add it….we’ll see tomorrow….feel quite a bit better today but I was recovering yesterday enough to get out on the bike…it was a chore and my lungs felt like they were at half capacity but had lots of energy when I got back….and I slept well last night….all of the covers were still on the bed and I don’t remember tossing too much so it must have been a good night…..I did get out and got everything I needed for t-day so I don’t have to do anything else but just cook tomorrow…I do have lunch with T today and I will be making some cash so that will start the weekend on a high note….but I am going to take it easy this morning and just have my coffee…oh, and work out but coffee first…more later….

Well…this damn bug is confusing me…I thought it was the flu but started feeling better after 3 days and today I feel okay…even got out already to get the rest of the stuff I need for t-day…just a little cough and sweating so I hope I continue to feel better…even feel good enough that I am going to dig out the thermasuit and get out on the bike today…going to have lunch with T tomorrow and I am looking forward to that…and I am going to make some cash, too, so that makes it even better….I didn’t get to t-day in shorts since I put jeans on this morning with it being 21 degrees and having this bug…and I knew I needed to put fuel in the car and that wouldn’t have been good….one good thing is that my back pain is gone and I wonder if it had something to do with the bug….maybe I was sick last week and just didn’t recognize it…I do need to clean out my freezer today to make room for the turkey carcass and get all of the dishes cleaned for Thursday…one of my storage containers has disappeared and I can’t figure out where it went…oh, well….more later…

Well….haven’t been on the bike in three days…just can’t take the cold right now but I think I’ll try tomorrow….have been feeling crappy enough that I just want to rest….I am waiting for the coughing to start from this bug…not bad yet but I know it’s coming….and I have been out of the world now for two weeks…and it just dawned on me that this is the longest time since I was five that I haven’t read a newspaper….but, it’s already saved me 52 bucks so I guess I can live with it…I am going to really try to get back to topics that mean something in the next few days…at least I hope so…

Well…it keeps getting worse and I feel pretty crappy this morning….and the thing I don’t understand is that I’m never around people anymore so how do I continue to get these bugs? I wonder if my immune system is compromised by not being around people and being exposed to the bugs? All I know is that I’m going back to the couch and having more water…need to rest….more later…

Well…earlier, I couldn’t figure out why I hurt again…now I know…have been going down hill all day in how I feel…now I am exhausted and hot and feel pretty crappy….so, it sounds like flu to me…..ick….

Well…it was a busy day yesterday and I made some cash so that was cool…I think I have enough cash in the drawer now to get through December and that takes a load off…I now know that my morning back pain must be caused by how I’m sleeping…the pain was gone yesterday and now it’s back this morning…and I skipped the bike ride yesterday so it can’t be that…and it looks like I’m going to skip again today with it being cold and really windy and I’m just not ready for that yet…I will try to find the entire thermasuit today, though, so I can get out tomorrow…..was in the car for three hours yesterday and that is tiring but today looks like just sports and vegging…I do need to clean the kitchen to get ready for thurs and that sounds like all I’ll do today….more later…

Well…sitting here watching the Man U game and I am hoping they do better today against Arsenal…they have just stunk up the place to start the season and that is disappointing….I did win at pool yesterday but only put one 8 in on my own…drove the car a bit yesterday and there is no coolant leak so that is cool…and I’m not too concerned about the steering leak…so that is off my mind for a while…,made some cash yesterday and am going to make more today so it looks like I’m good for another month or so…and I am going to win the power ball tonight so I’ll be good forever…I can dream, can’t I? Just looked outside and it is snowing which really disappoints me…and that will mean I’m taking the day off the bike today….just too wet and windy to go out and I do need a break anyway….not going to do  a lot today but clean the counters in the kitchen and watch some football…..more later…

Well…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but I did go over the car for winter and found some problems…I think the steering rack is leaking a little and there may be a coolant leak…added an eighth of a pint to the PS and a little under a pint to the coolant but I hadn’t checked either in a year so maybe it’s normal….don’t have the cash to have any problems right now….it is pretty nice outside right now and I think I’ll be able to get out in a t-shirt for the last time this year….it is 57 right now and I want to beat the wind that is coming….my back is better today and I hope that continues..it was getting to be draining with it hurting all the time…I am going to make a little cash over the weekend so the car has to not fail me…it is pool day today and it will be nice to get out of here for a while…more later….

Well…there is a part of my trail that runs along 60th street between Wing and Hanna lake that seems to be a deer killing zone….over the course of the summer, there have been 4 deer hit by cars and thrown up on the sidewalk that I could tell were there even without seeing them…nothing like the stench of 200 pounds of rotting venison….but, in the first three instances, some scavenger dragged the carcasses down the bank and into the swamp and gradually ate them over a week or so…but, I think they are either full or lazy since there has been a huge doe lying at the side of the road for 5 days now without being disturbed…..I was really looking forward to watching nature take it’s course and maybe catch a glimpse of the animals that did the cleanup on the first three…yeah, I know, I am so bored right now that even waiting for scavengers to do their job is entertainment to me…oh, well….but I don’t want the damn thing to stink..so scavengers…get on the ball and do your job….
