Well….still not feeling right after the events of the past couple of days but I felt I had to talk about the village idiot trump and his trip to Puerto Rico. What a godawful mess this guy is…not a damn thing about the suffering of the people, just more and more of how great of a job he is doing…people are still dying and this asshole can only think about one thing, himself, and to make it even worse, he goes on to crack a joke about the effect of the hurricane on the federal budget…this guy is just not right in the head…veering off into his F-35 story again, which is a huge lie by the way. I am tired of this crap…when can we make this prick go away? Repubs? Impeach…

Well….have had Tom Petty’s songs running through my head all night and now into this morning…..and I am still in shock about Las Vegas….will do another rant about that later today….slept okay last night but just feel worn out today….too much going on that I have to think about….I don’t think I’ve been eating enough lately and I think I have a bug since I have been coughing and just not feeling right…the bike ride yesterday was better with pain killers before I got out….my shoulders just can’t take the pounding anymore….I am going to clean a little today and get a few other things done…I do need to do a color tour in the car soon but the colors aren’t really changing too much yet…I think the rain tomorrow may help with that….and that will keep me off the bike…I hope…need a day off to rest everything….more later…
RIP Tom Petty
Well…didn’t think this day could get any crappier…but then it did..it was just announced that Tom Petty died this afternoon from a massive heart attack. Not sure if I ever owned any of his music but one of the best concerts I have ever seen was when I saw him here in GR a few years back…great musicians and wonderful songs…I think we spent most of the concert on our feet dancing and laughing and just enjoying the night…too damn early Tom….RIP…
I blame the NRA…
Well…another morning another 50 people dead on the altar of gun worship in this country….450 injured and more will probably die and I blame the NRA for it’s years of stoking fear, it’s years of buying politicians so that rational, public supported gun control couldn’t happen…and now we have this…we have a white, domestic terrorist acting on what the NRA has been calling for for years…that people will have to die to protect their bastardized understanding of the 2nd amendment….I knew that this would happen…after Sandy Hook with 30+ children dead and nothing happened to control these weapons, I knew that the NRA had won…when there have been 273 mass shootings this year alone and nothing is done, I knew the NRA had won….and this guy had 10 automatic rifles with huge magazines that are perfectly legal in Nevada…something the NRA purchased politicians think is just fine…and now there is a bill being pushed by the NRA that would allow people to buy silencers…if this had been passed and this guy had them for his guns, how many more would have died? A hundred…two hundred? The only way this murderer was found was it was night and people could see the muzzle flashes…something a silencer also prevents…there is one thing that every mass killing has in common…guns….now is the time to tell these NRA purchased politicians that we have had enough…that sensible gun control is needed now…and throw the bums out if they won’t listen….one last thing…after the last two videos that the NRA put out hinting that liberals should be killed, the NRA should be labeled the terrorist organization that it is…and be put out of business now….

Well…woke up to another mass shooting today…will talk about that later…I guess that makes this a little unimportant…but, I’ll continue for a minute….it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done….I did decide to buy a new bike next month with how much the old one is beating on me….I am really sore today and I wince every time I hit a bump…that was okay when I was younger but it is just too much now…and they lowered the price by 10 bucks so I hope they still have them when I’m ready to order it…just not feeling this right now…so I think I need to think a while….
The greatest logistical challenge ever?
Well…if you had any question that the entire trump administration is filled with incompetent idiots, you just have to listen to trump’s FEMA administrator making excuses for their failure to plan for the devastation in Puerto Rico and their continued failure to deliver aid to keep people alive…this idiot said this today: “…this is the most logistically challenging event the US has ever seen…” Now, I’ve been around a while so maybe I’m working from experience that these idiots don’t have but I can name much more challenging events…how does the D-Day invasion sound, or WWII in the Pacific? Do you remember the Berlin Airlift? Or building all the war materiel for WWII? Or Landing a damn man on the moon? I could go on and on pointing out the ridiculousness of these idiots…it may be the most challenging event for some no experience, no talent hack that should never have the job, but the most challenging ever? Not even close…impeach…
October 1st
Well…running a little late today but does it really matter? Not sure….I did have an okay day yesterday but the bike beat on me more than it has all week and I had lots of pain so I’ll have to take something for that….and I am re-thinking waiting on buying a new bike until next year….I like the old one but I do need the suspension and disc brakes that the new one will have…just don’t want to do damage to my body anymore…slept okay last night and feel okay today and I am waiting for the temp to come up so I can get on the bike…I know that will happen more and more as the fall goes on but it is still a pain having to wait when I’m ready to go….oh, well…not much to do today…I’ll probably clean a little and watch the Lions lose again but that is about it….more later…
