Well….have just been reading about the repubs candidate for the senate in Alabama, Roy Moore, and the allegation that he molested a bunch of teenage girls when he was in his 30′s…the youngest one being 14 years old at the time. And what is the reaction from the rest of the repubs…I’m talking to you, Mitch McConnell, nothing but crickets…which says to me that they are perfectly okay with child molestation….same sex marriage is icky but child molestation is okay. This self-righteous bigot spent his entire career in the courts of Alabama trying to force his bigoted take on christianity on the entire state…going so far as to ignore the Obergfell decision that expanded marriage equality, saying he had more authority than the supreme court…and getting removed twice for refusing to follow the law. Now, we know that, again, the law is for other people, not Roy Moore…and child molestation is just peachy with him…typical repub hypocrite…..

Tough talk…but little else….
Well…the idiot trump was all talk and bluster during the election where he bragged that he would put China in their place and stop their trade manipulation that was costing American jobs….okay, are you laughing as much as I am? After today, and his comments in China, you should be. The idiot today praised China’s predatory trade policies by saying this: “I don’t blame China for gaining the upper hand in trade deals…I give China great credit”. So, one of his tough talks about China was nothing but another lie to get his know nothing followers to vote for him and when in the presence of China’s leaders, he folds like a wet towel…just like every bully everywhere. This was then compounded by trump not taking any questions from reporters on his 180 degree about face…the first time since the early 90′s and his press secretary blamed it on the Chinese…that they insisted that there would be no questions. Now, the Chinese tried this crap on Clinton and Obama and they refused to let them muzzle them..but I guess the tough guy trump isn’t as tough as he lied he was….and what president would ever allow that to happen? The USA looks very small today in comparison to the Chinese…and it’s all trump’s fault…impeach….
November 9th
Well…running a little late today and you know why…survived the grocery run but I am sitting here sweating through my clothes still….my lungs appear to be better today and I really don’t feel bad at all so I think T’s advice to take a day off and just rest was good…I did get some cleaning done and need to do a little more today but the place is looking okay…slept okay last night but was up really early this morning…I think I looked at the phone at around 4:30 but tried to stay in bed until 6…and I did…looks like I’ll be off the bike again today since I don’t want to push this cold but that means I have to switch into reduced calorie mode and cut back to one meal….should be able to keep the cals under a thousand today since the bug has really killed my appetite…..not much to do today…C is coming into town later and I need to take him to the airport…and then pick him up Monday…and I think we are going to try to meet up with K before the airport so the day may just take a lot out of me….more later….okay, I was wrong..it just hit me and I feel like crap again….
It’s 9:30 and I’m exhausted
Well…it’s 9:30 in the morning and I’m already exhausted….I guess this bug is worse than I thought and is going to keep me off the weight machine and the bike today….this one really started to hit last night but I’m not much worse today so I think it must just be a cold…but, I’m freezing and it’s 75 in here so maybe the flu? Crap…at least I don’t have anything to do today but clean…and not too much of that…more later…
I’m happy for the first time in a year…
Well….with the sound rejection of repubs and trumpism last night, I am happy politically for the first time in a year….the voters in Virginia, New Jersey, and Washington State gave us some hope for a better country…one that rejects the crass hate of the right for the inclusivity and welcoming of our side. Last night proved the mantra that I have been speaking since the depressing events of 2016…if WE vote, we win….and I am thankful for the work done at the grassroots in Virginia and the rest of the country that returned control of three states to our side….and the difference in the reactions to our side winning was stark…our winners immediately embraced the fact that they represent all of the people they were elected to serve…even those that didn’t vote for them….something that was always understood until the divisive politics of the repubs poisoned the country….so, all I have to say is keep it up dems….we are working for a better country for all of us and, with last night’s results, it just may be possible….the trump meltdown today is going to be delicious….
November 8th
Well….feeling pretty crappy today with the bug that has taken hold…have been coughing, warm, and have a sore throat with no energy but it’s no worse than yesterday so I think it’s just a cold and not the flu….I should have realized I was coming down with something on the bike yesterday when I was just freezing for the whole ride….so, I may take the day off the bike today or wait until later to go out…didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today will be the same…I am going to clean a little today if I feel up to it…my lungs hurt….I feel miserable so I think I’ll end here for now….more later….
I’m laughing about this….
Well… I was bored tonight and remembered that I bought an LED light bulb for above my kitchen sink so I decided to put it in tonight just for the heck of it…oh, and it was only a buck at the dollar store that I am starting to like…it is really bright for only being a 60 watt bulb…but the weird thing is the longevity of the thing…using it 3 hours a day, it is supposed to last 22.3 years…yep, that’s right…22.3 years…and running it 3 hours a day costs $1.28…per year….now….that is some pretty cool stuff and I think I may get a few more of them if I can get them for a buck….the whole thing just made me laugh….
Just get on with it…
Well…with the dribs and drabs coming out of the Mueller investigation, I really want to scream “get on with it” and light a fire under them to get to the big fish…I know, the wheels of justice turn slowly but the damage to the country done by the idiot trump needs to be contained and right now….and the factional war on the left continues with the big “controversy” of who favored who from the DNC…something that is in the past and needs to be kept there while we focus on the future and how we can defeat the liars and thieves on the right….isn’t that the most important thing? Here’s the thing…we on the left need to get past the purity tests and and make sure anyone who wants to help us advance the progressive ideas that have made this country great is welcomed…yeah, it may mean some arguing but that’s how ideas are formed and how everyone’s ideas are heard…so, let’s stop shooting ourselves in the foot with the idiotic protest votes that put trump in office…and let’s get the hell out and vote…after all, when we vote, we win….
November 7th
Well…running a little early today with getting up at 5 or so…I think my allergies are keeping me from sleeping well…and the voltage drain in the car…but, I have a plan for that that I’ll start working on today…after it warms up some…oh, pool was a tie and that was cool…and I had the top down out and back but I think that will be the last one for a while with the cold really rolling in later in the week…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but I will work on some stuff today just cleaning since I have been avoiding it for more than a week now…I do need to finish up the ham I bought last week and get the rest of it in the freezer for soup later…more later….
Another thing that trump is ignorant of….
Well…as trump continues on the Asia embarrassment tour, one little piece of news made me just shake my head at how ignorant this asshole is…talking to the PM of Japan, he said that the Japanese should make cars in the US instead of “shipping them over”….now the stupidity and ignorance of this statement is just breathtaking….how can anyone that has lived in the US in the past 30 years not know that more than 80% of the Japanese cars that are sold here are made here? The depths of this idiots ignorance of everything is just astounding…especially coming from a ” great businessman”…at least that what he calls himself…I’d call him just unrelentingly stupid….impeach….
