Well…that was a little better…didn’t get up til 5:22 this morning and couldn’t get back to sleep so 5 hours or so is going to have to do it…and that does leave me a little slow today and I need to ease into it….man, I could take a nap right now…my stress levels are still at 11 and I think they will be until I pull back into my house after returning the truck on the 27th…I did get out to get a ride in yesterday and will today since it is going to be in the 30′s, but next week is going to be cold with highs in the teens so I won’t even be thinking about riding…got so cold yesterday that I was under a blanket the rest of the day after I got back here….I did have to run a bunch of errands yesterday but didn’t accomplish much and have some more to do today but not until later in the day…didn’t get anything done yesterday and I’m only going to pack today so it should be an easy one….man, this is too early, it will be an hour until the news comes out and I need to have more coffee…more later….

Good news on the vaccines…
Well…as the vaccines for covid are rolled out slowly across the world, there is one detail that is being overlooked that I think is a pretty big deal…of the millions of people who have been vaccinated, there has not been one reported death…let that sink in for a minute….once you get the vaccine, you may get sick since it is only 95% effective but you won’t get really sick or die from covid….and that IS a really big deal…that the worst outcomes after vaccination is to get mildly sick but not end up hospitalized or dying….to me, that is worth any side effect such as pain or fatigue after you get the shot…and they appear to have the same effect on the new variants of covid…so far, but there may be a booster shot in the future as the virus continues to mutate…but I’ll take that any day….
Pay for play…exposed……
Well…these damn repubs are so stupid they are saying the quiet parts out loud…after most of the repubs in the House supported the lies that there was election fraud in the 2020 election that led directly to the attack on the capitol…there was huge backlash from their corporate donors who said they will stop giving money to the ones who supported the lie and insurrection…and what is the response of these repubs? To expose they are all doing “pay for play” by saying they won’t meet with any representative from the companies until they give them money again…gee…sounds a bit like blackmail or extortion to me and it does fit the criminal description of it….so now we know…okay, we knew this before…that the modern repubs are only in government to enrich themselves…they have no principles or any guiding system of governance…they are just in it for the money and when the money is shut off there is no reason for them to be there…not to make their voters life better since that never enters into their heads…just money…and money alone….god, I hate these guys…
February 1st
Well…damn, forgot to make the coffee last night for the first time in years so I am sitting here waiting for it to brew and that is not helping my mood one bit…slept crappy and woke up at 4:24 and could barely get back to sleep so I am worn out this morning…and this is the third day in a row that I haven’t slept well and that is getting annoying…just exhausted all day and I know I can’t keep this up…but, my heel is still getting better and I am almost walking normally again so I guess that’s something…didn’t get much done yesterday but shovel the snow but I have an errand to run this morning and need to get packing so I will get some stuff done today…but I still don’t have a lot of motivation right now with not having any coffee yet but I hope it gets better….more later…
