Well…finally…Ukraine has started to hit target inside of Russia and now the Russian people are going to start to know what their war criminal leader is doing to Ukraine…will it matter? Probably not because almost 70% of the Russian people support the illegal war…but when the oil stops flowing there will be questions about what Ukraine is attempting to do over the past couple of weeks by attacking oil refineries as far as 1000 miles inside of Russia…they have hit at least 6 of them in that time and I really hope they keep it up…and with the tranches of new artillery shells, F-16′s, and a home grown drone industry just getting started, the edge that Russia has had with the traitorous repubs delaying aid to Ukraine for months is going to quickly go away and is already being felt at the front lines where Ukrainian soldiers are rejoicing for being able to respond to the Russian shelling…I will be interested to see the battlefield change over the next few months and I hope they can drive Russia back and retake the repubs gift of land to it…geez…

May 10th
Well…out of bed about 6:30 this morning an that leaves me running late to get on the indoor bike by 7:30…but it is only 45 outdoors right now so I will need to wait to ride out there today….still pretty sore right now but there is no reason for it other than riding the bike…I am really hoping that it stays clear tonight to see the northern lights that are supposed to be visible all the way south to Alabama tonight…there were 6 CME’s in a row yesterday from a sunspot complex that never happens so I’ll be out looking up tonight…didn’t get anything done yesterday but I will be making potato soup with bacon today and doing some cleaning and laundry…not sure why I just can’t take a day off to enjoy but I’m not going to agonize about it…I do need to plant the chili pepper seeds that have sprouted in the paper towel and I really hope some of them survive…I need to replenish my pepper supply in the freezer…crap, it looks like it’s going to be cloudy tonight so no northern lights for me…oh, well…not much to do today…it’s sunny right now but the temp is not coming up til around 10 so that is going to make me late for getting the outdoor rides in but the wind is going to be almost calm and I am looking forward to that….damn, 15 minutes til the indoor bike…need more coffee…more later…
A good day…
Well…had a pretty good day today but didn’t anything done and I’m okay with that with how busy I was yesterday…the weed killer has already started to work and I think I have the settings on the sprayer figured out and the bottle of killer I bought covered the entire lawn and left me about half a gallon mixed up in the hand sprayer to kill off ones I may have missed…I do have some of the chili peppers sprouted out back and in the paper towel so I’ll need to plant those tomorrow…I think I may have my schedule figured out with doing one indoor ride as soon as I get up and then two outdoor rides right after to have them all done by 11am…and that leaves me the rest of the day to cook, clean, and read and still get 33 miles in for the day…and that gives me 100 miles every three days and that pace should be enough to hit the goals for the year…didn’t make soup today with my brother coming over to have me help with his car antenna again but the part didn’t fit…again…oh, well…I did watch the new “Ghostbusters” movie last night and it was okay…stayed interested but there was no Rick Moranis in it and there should have been….

Well…folks, can we remember what a joke the idiot trump’s “infrastructure week” was during his term? You know, the one where he promised millions of jobs to rebuild road, bridges, airports, schools, and everything else in this country and never delivered on any of it? There is something wrong with this country when voters consider that Joe Biden and the idiot are equal on actually getting things done on infrastructure and independents even rate idiot boy higher even though he did absolutely nothing…and that nothing was highlighted just this week in Wisconsin when Joe went to Racine to tout the new multi billion dollar investment from Microsoft that is going in where idiot boy bragged Foxconn was going to build multiple factories that never happened..and that’s the thing here…people give idiot boy credit for just lying about infrastructure and give Joe no credit when his policies have already spurred almost a trillion dollars in investment and have created actual, real jobs in the millions…I know there is time before the election to turn the polling around but Joe and his group need to get on it and make sure people know how much they’ve done and what they will do if re-elected..there is no comparison here..get on it guys…geez…
May 9th
Well…didn’t run the hepa filters last night and I am feeling it this morning with my eyes itchy and full of crap…and I just generally feel lousy and worn out like maybe I’m getting old or something….the day was okay yesterday until the assholes started up again to the south of me…I sure hope the cops clued them in this time…I was so damn sore last night that I had the heating pad on everything and I still feel it today…need to figure out how to get back into a sustainable routine where I don’t struggle to just survive the day…but that probably won’t be today since I need to get on the indoor bike here in 50 minutes or so…and that right there is a symptom of what is wrong with me…I’m retired and yet the schedule is still driving me to accomplish things when I could just sit here and enjoy the stillness…I do need to cook today since I thawed some catfish nuggets that need to go in the air fryer along with making some potato soup so I’ll need to carve out time for that…the radar says it’s raining out there but I just looked and it’s dry so I can get on the bike just as soon as I do an indoor ride…maybe that can be my routine…one indoor ride to start the day and then two outdoor rides and be done before noon? I just realized that I’m going to make fish and chips with the catfish today and I’m looking forward to that…not much else to do other than clean a bit…more later…
Another busy day…
Well…man, it’s been busy today with getting the first ride in indoors, then doing the grocery runs, back on the bike for two outdoor rides, and the yard work that included weedkiller for the lawn and planting a few more veggie plants…and I had to repair a downspout that came loose…and the assholes were out at the rental again today and the last straw was a steady stream of them walking behind the rental to pee when I was working on the garden…so I called the cops and three of them came out to talk to me about it and then they went over to talk to the asshole who rents the house…and I hope they let him know what the heck the law is so I don’t have to keep calling…pissed me right off…and I’m still pissed…grrrrr…oh, I did get some food today from DD…12 oz package of ground chuck for 2 bucks and some roasted turkey for 99 cents a package…and a 3lb bag of yellow potatoes at Meijers for a buck along with a 3 lb bag yellow onions for a buck, too…so I really need to make more potato soup tomorrow…
A crack in the maga wall?
Well… a couple of weeks ago I talked about what was happening in the repub primaries that was a little surprising…that Nikki Haley, who dropped out of the race two months ago, was still getting almost 20% of the vote and I wondered if this was bad news for the idiot? Last night, there was another primary in Indiana and the trend seems to be getting worse for the idiot trump…once the votes were counted, Nikki Haley got 22% of the vote and I wonder if people are just getting tired of idiot boy’s schtick? I mean he’s still indicted with 90 felonies and his behavior in the courtroom where he’s on trial for election fraud is that of a spoiled 7 year old…and he has been fined 10 times for violating the gag order he’s under…and he sure doesn’t look like the superman he projects himself to be sitting there sleeping and farting all day…so maybe there is a crack in the maga wall happening? We can only hope…geez…
May 8th
Well…man, I’m having problems getting the cobwebs out of my brain this morning and that leaves me feeling old…just started the first cup of coffee and it needs to work soon or I won’t be able to get on the bike before 7…going to do an indoor ride this morning before the grocery run and then two outdoors when I get back…slept okay last night but was out of bed at 5:40 and still feel sore from the flat tire riding yesterday…trying to plan meals for the next week or so and I have lots of stuff thawing in the fridge…bacon, fish and pork loin fillets and I’m going to make potato soup today to use up some of the yellow potatoes I got for a buck for three pounds…and I’m getting another bag of those today…think I’m going to hit DD for some burgers this morning, too…and do a little searching there for bargains…might work on the vacant lot across the street again today after the rides and I need to plant the chili pepper seeds that have sprouted in the paper towel…not much to do today…need to get going soon to get the day started…have a huge grocery list for some reason and I don’t know how it got so big…even have coupons to use today that will save me a few bucks….more later…
Bike trouble…
Well…it was a day of racing to get three rides in before the rain came in and I had bike trouble happening that really slowed me down…first, I did get the shifters adjusted well enough to use them…at least better than they were with the broken front cable and the back shifter so out of adjustment that you had to shift it down two gears to get it to go down one…so I ran the stripped adjuster wheel all the way in and did the adjusting with moving the cable manually…still doesn’t upshift right but the cable will stretch and make that better but I may adjust it again…on the second ride today, the bike seemed way too hard to ride into the 15-18 mph wind that I do almost every day so I looked down and saw that my rear tire was losing air and I barely made it back here…so I put my last new tube in and put the bike back together…then on the third ride, the computer started to shut off intermittently and I was pretty sure it was the repair I did in the wire so I got the soldering iron out and re soldered it so it works again and I hope it’s the last time I have to do that…I may have to cut that section out of the wire to get some new stuff to solder…but I hope not…my entire body hurts right now from the rides and I am going to have to take something for it later…I really should repair some tubes but I want to eat something first…I think I have 4 of them downstairs with just small pinhole leaks in them that should repair okay…oh, I did hit 3,000 miles for the year yesterday and that was only 7 days past the goal of May 1st so I feel pretty good about that…and only about 500 miles to halfway when I can start counting down the miles instead of up…
The judge is finally getting trump trained…
Well…I was laughing my butt off as I just read that the idiot trump attacked the judge in the case on his scam social media site but then immediately deleted it so as not to run afoul of his gag order…but, hey donnie…you can delete all you want but it’s still out there that you did it and this one could be jail time…I hope, hope, hope…getting that orange nightmare behind bars would be a dream come true for all of the people that this asshole has damaged…and the relatives of the 800,000 extra people who died of covid because the idiot couldn’t be bothered to do something hard and he felt like it was a “blue state” disease and he wanted all of us dead anyway…what he was too stupid to understand that, because of the resistance to the vaccines, red states had 90% more fatalities than blue states…so red state governors and legislatures actually killed off the people they needed to have vote for them…losing at least 4 house seats from it…okay, so I’ve strayed a bit from the title…sue me…more later…
