Well…a little bit of good news this morning with the results of the PSA test showing that the cancer hasn’t come back and that is a relief…it’s always hanging over me that one of these times it’s going to show the that the little bit they had to leave behind was going to explode and kill me but not right now…didn’t look at the rest of the tests since it’s not really important to me and there is not anything I can do to change them…slept okay last night but was up at 5:30 again and that is way too damn early but there is nothing I can do about that either…I did get some work done yesterday and now I’m waiting for it to rain to wash the grass seed into the ground and sprout some of it…used 15 bucks of seed yesterday and that is not cheap…I did use the rest of the red potatoes for another batch of potato salad that I need to put together today but I may have overcooked the eggs since I forgot I had them boiling…oh, well…I do need to do the grocery run today but don’t have much on the list so it will be a quick one…if I drive in the rain today I’ll have to wash the car before the run out to Ada to shoot pool tomorrow and I am looking forward to that…need to drive the car more…will turn it over to 50K miles on the run tomorrow but who cares? Not much to do today…need to get on the bike for the indoor ride here in a minute and then get on the grocery run…will have to dance around the rain to get two rides in outdoors but I’m going to try…as always…more later..

Well…it looks like Amazon is taking more and more items and putting them out of the reach of free shipping…and I know this since I tried to purchase items that used to be eligible from my buy again page and this time there is no free shipping choice to make…and I had enough items to get over the 35 dollar line that used to be 25 dollars…so now I have another free trial of prime for 30 days and I’ll cancel it before that…I did get a bottle of benadryl allergy meds pretty cheap…600 tablets for 10 bucks and that is a lot cheaper than the red dots I have been using and I bit the bullet and bought more of the generic flonase that I ran out of but really need with how bad the pollen is this year…I did get an indoor and two outdoor rides in along with going out to the north end to have blood drawn for the checkup on June 11th and got a very good phlebotomist who took her time and hit the vein the first time and I barely felt it…no bruising at all and that’s a first for me…then I got out and seeded some of the bare spots in the yard along with putting weed killer on the very front of the yard…so now I’m going to take a break for a bit and go out and see if the results are there for the blood work…

Well…that was a little better…still up at 5:14 though and didn’t really get back to sleep until I dragged myself out of bed around 6…just poured the first cup of coffee and need to get on the bike by 7 or so…not really…7:30 would be okay since I only need to get in the car to run out to get blood drawn at 9 or so…and it looks like it will be warm enough to put the top down…and it will be the first time I’ve driven since last week’s grocery run and I really should get out more…after I get back I’ll get started on getting two rides in outdoors and then I do need to seed the bare spots on the lawn to take advantage of the rain coming in tomorrow…I may even be able to open the windows today since it’s supposed to be 77 for the high…I did make a good stir fry yesterday and used a Kung Pao sauce to add flavor that I can still barely taste…only had one meal yesterday and no high fat foods since I need to get my cholesterol down for the blood draw today…but this aft I’ll have a smoked brat but then counter that with the stir fry that is 90% veggies…need to get the grocery list done for the run tomorrow and may buy more chicken breasts since they are so versatile but I do have enough to make some Masala already so I probably should make that in a few days….more later…

Well…after getting three rides in for 33 miles today, I’m feeling pretty lazy today and didn’t even feel like making lunch…I should have gone out and seeded bare spots in the lawn but I guess that can wait til tomorrow…I did wash the bike after the third ride today and need to go out later and re-lube it and do the chain…and probably should check the air pressure, too, since I haven’t done that in a month or so and probably should check the air in the car tires…and that will be enough for today…talked to my brother today and he was surprised I haven’t been out to just drive the new car around and I guess I am, too…but I’m trying to not spend any money and get my cash supplies rebuilt after buying the car…it’s an excuse I know but inertia is hard to overcome at times…I did skip lunch today but will make chicken stir fry with rice later so that will make up for it…okay, need to get off my butt…

Well…it’s the end of May and the heat is still on and that makes it 9 days it’s been on…and it looks like that’s going to continue into June and I’ve never seen that before…the way it’s going, it’s never going to get warm enough to go to the beach this year and that sucks…really having a hard time getting going today and need to get on the bike by 7am but then the question comes..why? It’s going to be warm enough to get outdoors on the bike by 9am or so but it will still be in the 50′s so I’ll be in shorts but layered on top…need to go out to the lab and get blood drawn tomorrow morning for my June 11th checkup and I’m holding my breath again that the PSA test comes back negative and that will make almost two years of being cancer free…with losing my sense of taste, I looked at my tongue in the mirror yesterday and noticed it has a white coating on it and that is something the I’ll raise in the checkup in a couple of weeks…I wonder it it’s fungal infection? It would be nice to find something to give me my sense of taste back…life is so bland without taste…not much to do today…just the rides, cooking and then some yard work…want to get some grass seed in before it rains on Wed to try to start getting the bare spots filled in….more later…

Well…as you’ve probably seen, I don’t think I’ll be doing a political one today…the races are halfway over and I have one indoor and one outdoor ride in and I’m going back out for a second ride after Indy ends since it finally got warm enough to not freeze my butt off…it’s even over 60 now so I’ll be able to go out in a t-shirt and shorts…and then get back here for the Coke 600 at 6pm…I do have to come up with meals for tomorrow and I think I’m going to make a big batch of stir fry chicken and rice and then use the brats I got this week for the second meal…and that will be meals for 6 days so I won’t have to plan again for a while…probably Masala next weekend…okay…need to do the weight work and watch the race…

Well…it the biggest raceday of the year today with MotoGP, F1 from Monaco, the Indy 500, and then the Coke 600 last for the day and I used to just take the day off and watch but with my goal of riding every day, I need to find time to fit at least two rides in…and the first one needs to start by 6:30am and that gives me 14 minutes before I need to get on the bike…it is still only 39 degrees out here and that is just wrong for May..there has been no spring this year and we’re almost to June and that just sucks…up and out of bed before 6 today and didn’t sleep for crap and that makes almost a week now with little sleep and I am just so damn worn out…so I’m pouring coffee down and hoping that it works soon or I’m in trouble for getting the day going…with all of the races today, I won’t be getting much done other than that but I may clean a bit in here since I should vacuum the rugs in here and in my bedroom but we’ll see…I still have bacon for blt’s and a couple of chicken legs for the two meals today but will need to figure out meals for the rest of the week…I think I’ll do stir fry tomorrow but need to get the chicken out of the freezer that I put in yesterday…okay, I need to get off my ass and get the day started….more later…

Well…I know it’s too much to hope that it will be permanent, but it has been 7 days of no parties at the asshole renter’s house…and it is just so nice to hot have clouds of people out there trying to turn this place into the “hood” and parking in the alley so I couldn’t get out…I guess I’ll just take these 7 days for what they are…and interlude of what this neighborhood can be if the cops do their job and uphold the law…and they must have done something pretty drastic to get these assholes to stop…I’m hoping a fine that they can ill afford and they go hungry for a month…I still wonder how these people were raised…I mean, I’d never have a loud party in my yard every damn day and block the street and alley with cars…we were raised better than that and it has been so nice to not have to call the cops every day…but I will call again if they start that crap again…
