Well…it’s been another day of trying to find a topic and I wonder if this is going to be the new normal? Nothing is grabbing me and that usually is what I need to have happen to work up enough outrage to take on a political one…so, maybe later…I did talk to one of the neighbors in the new houses across the alley and the good news is they bought the vacant lot next to them so no one can cram a new house in there like they are doing all over up here…we laughed that with some of the new houses up here, you can reach out your window and touch the next house they are so close….and I met another neighbor yesterday, too when I asked if they wanted some tomatoes…had a nice talk with him and learned more history of the area and that was pretty cool…he told me that there was a house on my second lot about 40 years ago and the whole area was a swamp that they pushed logs through back in the 1800′s….pretty cool….I just noticed I haven’t had a flat on the bike for almost two months after I put the electrical tape on the inside of the rim and that is pretty cool, too…but I do need to order parts and get the old bike up and running so I can do the same for the new bike…but, I  don’t feel like it right now…just worn out after two hard rides in the heat…more later…
