Well..as you can see…I didn’t come back for a second one yesterday…the brain just has not been working well enough to be able to write something that is up to the quality that I want…so, I didn’t do it…it was an okay day yesterday but this morning the clutch pedal started to do weird things and I think the cylinders may need to be replaced…hope not…worked okay coming back from Meijers but it got really soft pulling into the parking lot…just don’t want to work on it…slept okay last night but I am still a little worn out from the bug….I’m sure it’s not from the cocktail night last night…it is going to be a busy day today with races, the Kentucky Derby, the Wings and Dr. Who….yep a total slackers day so I do need to get out on the bike so the guilt is not overwhelming….more later…

Well…it was a really bad day yesterday…nothing happened but I felt like crap all day and it must have been a bug of some sort…still feel crappy today but I am going to get out on the bike in a few minutes anyway…yep, stupid but I just can’t stay in and not ride….slept okay last night with it being a cocktail night and there were dreams but I waited too long to do this so I don’t remember them…oh, well….didn’t get anything done except making chili but it came out good so I guess that will have to do…today looks like a low key kind of day, too…going to stay in low gear most of the day and just try to feel better….make some chicken thighs on the grill and try to eat something…food just doesn’t appeal to me right now and I know it’s part of feeling crappy but forcing food down is not the answer either….more later…

Well…just reading a little article about this crazy assed NH republican rep who has been leading the charge for the nuts on the right regarding the Boston bombings saying last week that it was an “inside job” done by the Obama administration to justify taking away all guns…yeah, I know…no reality here…but today, she went even more crazy trying to support her absolute nuttiness by saying that of course it was an inside job since in the the pictures of a guy with his legs blown off, he didn’t appear to be in shock or screaming in pain…so it must be an inside job! What the worst excuse for a human being this piece of crap is…oh, her name is Stella Tremblay…give her a call to let her know just how big of a piece of crap she is….geez…

Well…sitting here waiting for the coffee to finish so I thought I’d get to this one….it was an okay day yesterday and I did get a few things done…my brother stopped over to hang out for a while and brought beer….who sells beer in a nine-pack? That’s what he brought and I thought it was a little weird….did sleep okay last night…had weird dreams about the Miata and a 62 Chevy with a 409 in it that I was jumping with my car and when I went away for a few minutes, someone stole both cars and just left the battery from mine behind….weird….I did have a little revelation coming back from the ride yesterday….my neighbors Prius was parked next to my car and it looked like my car was gone until I got right next to it…when your car is much smaller than a Prius, you know it pretty damn small…..not much to do today…just got the grocery run done and I do need to wash the car at some point…although, if it’s going to rain tomorrow, that doesn’t make much sense….more later….

Well…I am just amazed how these idiots ever got elected….another really, really stupid repub from SC has now proposed legislation that would eliminate the government from calculating any data that has to do with the economy…yep, you heard it right, this moron has proposed that the census department only be allowed to count how many people there are in the US…so say goodbye to unemployment numbers, GDP numbers, housing numbers, and every other statistic that every business in the US uses to make business decisions, like whether to hire, whether to invest in new equipment, how to invest, etc, etc, etc….and the reason for it? This absolute idiot is afraid that the federal government is collecting data that will be used to round people up and put them into camps when the UN comes to take over the country. I really have nothing more to add….people this stupid would end up digging ditches or raking leaves when I was growing up…not screwing up the whole country..geez…
May 1st
Well…running late again today and with it being the first of the month, another trip to the dumps is in order and is going to happen….I just hate this day…especially with no money coming in….oh, well…was up late last night watching the first Wings playoff game that they lost, and then back up at 5:30 so it was a short night….don’t feel that bad today, though, since I was good and that will continue through the rest of the week….I did have some dreams last night but they were jumbled and I don’t really remember them so I won’t comment….yesterday was kind of a bore with not much happening….I did get a long ride in with almost all sprint so it does feel good to be getting the legs and lungs back…and it was nice to be able to go out right after working out…and it looks like the same today before the weather goes back to crap for the weekend…oh, well….not much to do today…going to clean and cook but that’s about it…more later….

Well…needing one more to get the goal for the month…I am going to cheat a little and just free-form it a little and see what happens…it seems that there is a lull in politics right now other than the disdain that the repubs have for the cuts to programs for poor children that have come from the sequester…they are just fine with letting poor kids starve, but if one rich guy has to stand in line at the airport for an extra half hour, we just can’t have that…so they restore the cuts to aviation and propose cutting food stamps more to pay for it….have there ever been a more evil bunch than the repubs now in congress? Then, we have the idiots that voted against background checks and we now have the NRA running ads thanking them? Against the 90% of their constituents that wanted them? I am tired of having to wait years to have these idiots pay for it at the ballot box…but, keep it up repubs…people are starting to notice and you will pay the next time….what else? Nothing right now….just trying to hit the number…might be back to add to this one later if I think of something…

Well..another year has passed and we are in the playoffs again even though this year, it was a nail-biter right until the end…but they dug down and made it…I am excited about the games starting tonight and, for the last year, we start again on the west coast which means the games don’t start here until 10 or 10:30…kind of late for an old guy but I am going to be good all week so it might not be that much of a challenge…they have been playing like a team for the first time this season and seem to be peaking at exactly the right time…there is hope for next year with the move to the east and all early games….I have the gear on already and I am going to take a nap this aft to try to prepare….with the way that Hank, Pavel, and Jimmy are playing, we may be able to surprise some people and get to the next round….we can only hope…Go Wings!
April 30th
Well…it was and okay day yesterday and had some fun going out with G for a couple…and I was good when I got home so I feel okay today…but I do have a little bug since I can feel it in my chest and I am a little warm…running late this morning since I did need to get a haircut and wanted that done before I started anything else…I am getting excited for the Wings to start the playoffs tonight but that is going to be stand-alone topic for later to get to the goals so I’ll stop there….not much to do today…have to get going on the workout in a minute and then get a ride in if the rain lets up enough…that may have to wait for later but that’s okay….I do need to do three of these so come on back….more later…

Well…as the days go by, the repubs and their buddies at ALEC continue to dream up more mischief to inflict upon this country and I am getting damn tired of it….the latest is the raft of so-called “conscience” laws that are being proposed in Washington state and here in Michigan….in case you haven’t heard, these laws would allow anyone to discriminate against anyone they don’t like if it is a “deeply held religious belief”….but you know the true purpose behind it is to allow them to discriminate against gays….but, how much further could it go? How about your religion doesn’t allow mixed race marriages so any mixed race couple that comes into your shop or restaurant can be turned away….or your religion doesn’t allow women to drive so you can refuse to sell them gas? It is just another nightmare coming out of the supposed party of “freedom”…they can’t pass anything that would get the economy moving but they have all of the time in the world to try to take away hard fought rights….I just can’t believe this crap….geez…
