Well…what a darn busy day today that was filled with lots of car time searching for sweet vermouth and I am now sure there is none in Muskegon or any surrounding area…so, no manhattans for me tonight…darn…I did go to the beach today and remembered to bring the 2 buck pair of flip flops I bought at Ollie’s…burned the bottom of feet yesterday and didn’t want to do that again today…the water wasn’t much warmer and with it getting to 93 out here, the beach was just too darn hot to stay there very long…so, after an hour I packed up and came back here…but it was so hot in the car I turned on the AC and that made the drive home much more tolerable…and I got to test the AC to see if it still worked and it does…so that was cool….ha, ha…that’s a joke, son….I did get lots of food today to fill the freezer back up with chicken, thin sliced turkey breast and some salami they had on sale for 1.50 for a pound and a half…didn’t eat much today with just a bagel with cream cheese and half a chicken thigh and a couple of spoonfuls of potato salad…but that’s enough…will have to cook tomorrow and make another batch of potato salad that is cooked but needs to be assembled…was out for the first ride at 7 am and I’m not sure if I want to do that again tomorrow…we’ll see…

Well…jim jordan is such a frickin loser and as he tries to kiss trump’s ass in his committee hearings…just today he brought in John Durham…you know the guy who Barr appointed to investigate the start of the trump/Russia investigation and the idea that it was a “deep state” hoax just to attack idiot boy…and I’m sure ole gymmy thought he could bring durham in to keep the “investigation” in the news but it just didn’t work out that way…after all, durham worked for years and spent millions of dollars and the only two indictments were laughed out of court…and today, the dems on the committee eviscerated durham, catching him in a bunch of lies and essentially getting him to admit that there was no reason for his investigation to happen…and no amount of gymmie’s spin could fix that…damn he just keeps stepping on those rakes that he leaves around everywhere…if I were him, I’d be embarrassed…geez…

Well…damn, I have 14 minutes until I have to get on the bike so this is going to be a short one…want to get a ride in before the grocery runs so that means I need to be on it before 7…going to hit three stores today since DD has lots of stuff on sale…I mean 5 pounds of breakfast sausage for 4 bucks? And boneless/skinless chicken thighs for 90 cents a pound? Have plenty of room in the freezer so I can stock up again…damn, have to be on the bike in 8 minutes and I am so frickin worn out that I can barely move…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but I hope to have everything done by 10 or so then out to the beach….or I can skip the beach and relax a bit…that decision will be made after I get the rides and grocery runs in…I did get some color yesterday and could use more to even out my tan…lots to do today…going to be running for the next few hours and I need to start right now….more later…

Well…the right is going frickin nuts today when Hunter Biden reached a deal and will plead guilty to misdemeanor failing to pay federal taxes and illegally possessing a firearm that is currently a felony but he may be able to plead that down, too…so, as the right is going crazy shouting about it only because he is Joe Biden’s son, he is getting off easy and they think he should get a hundred years because something, something…and they are wailing that because the idiot trump could get 400 years or some such nonsense and there has to be a connection since both of these things happened so close together…that is idiot boy being indicted and Biden getting a deal…there just has to be a connection…so now, more than a year out from the election, the repubs lose a talking point but I’m sure they will lie and make up 5 more to replace it…geez…

Well…damn, one of these days I’m going to take the day off and just sit here and watch tv all day….hurt my back somehow and it is stiff around the sides and I wonder how it’s going to do on the bike…didn’t get my water bill again this month so I need to go over to city hall today to pay it and bitch them out about it…it’s warm enough to get out on the bike as soon as I’m ready but it will be another 45 minutes or so until the coffee starts to work…damn, my right elbow hurts now and I think it’s going to be a rough day….the last day off the bike was after the last biopsy and that was a month ago but I still need to do the big ride before my birthday…and the weather is going to change later in the week down to the 70’s for highs so it may be the perfect time to do it…we’ll see…have leftovers for meals today but I do need to plan for the rest of the week…still have a block of 5 pounds of chicken in the freezer that I can thaw but I may get some thighs tomorrow or maybe something at DD…not much to do today….just the rides and some cleaning but it’s going to be 90 so I’m going to the beach again….but it’s boring if I can’t swim so I won’t be out there long…more later….
Got a swim in today…
Well…I got I’ll call a swim in today but it lasted a total of about 2 minutes the water was so cold…but I went under so that counts and makes it 66 years in a row that I have gotten a swim in Lake Michigan…didn’t do anything else today other than cook on the grill…made some chicken thighs, Italian sausage, and roasted potatoes so I’ll have food for a couple of days….man, it’s hot out here but my house isn’t too bad with the wind blowing so I may not have to put the AC unit in this year…we’ll see…it’s 88 outside but only 78 in here and I can live with that…need to put the fan on in a minute to get some air moving…I think I got the mini bike shut down yesterday since the idiot kid was nowhere to be seen or heard today….good riddance…I think I’m going to watch the “Extractor” movie tonight and that will take up most of the night but then I’ll probably do the Korean show after that…okay, need to go out and put the trash out…it’s too hot to have trash sitting out next to the back door…doesn’t smell too bad but I’m not going to take that chance…

Well…the judge who is overseeing the trump stolen documents case made a ruling yesterday that has to be burning up the idiot trump and I’m laughing…you know how discovery in a trial works? That the defense team gets to have copies of all the evidence the prosecution has so they can mount a defense? So, in this trial since idiot boy stole classified documents, some of the discovery documents are going to be classified…and here’s the thing that must be burning idiot boy up…any time that trump get to look at the evidence, it has to be in the presence of someone else like his lawyers or other people who have security clearances…he never gets to be alone with his precious documents…and there are other restrictions on who can handle them and trump isn’t one of them…and he will be held in contempt if he reveals what the documents are or what’s in them…damn, that is just too funny…just one of the many, many more restrictions that are going to come to idiot boy when he’s convicted…geez…

Well…it looks like it’s going to be a beach day today with the temps getting into the high 80’s and up to 90 the next few days…hope the lake is warm enough to swim since that is the best part of going out there…didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today will be the same but I will get the bike rides in here in a bit…I do need to cook today and I may use the grill to cook more Italian sausage and boneless/skinless chicken thighs that will get me through most of the week…getting in a rut on food and need to change it up a bit but I’m not sure what that would be…I do have baked beans in the cupboard that I may open…who knows? Getting that damn mini bike shut down was good work for yesterday and I hope the idiot people who bought it for their 8 year old understand it was stupid for them to send him out to tear up and down the street….there are just too much stupidity in this world these days and I won’t allow it to ruin my peaceful life….not much to do today…just need more coffee and then to get on the bike in a few minutes…one of these days I’m going to just relax and let the day unfold as it will…so tired of go, go, go to get things done….didn’t get the water bill again so I have to ride over to the city hall to pay it again…crap…more later…
Had to call the cops…
Well…the kid on the minibike just about killed himself this morning flying down the alley and right into the street in front of a car…I could hear the tires squealing from here but that didn’t stop him and he kept up racing up and down the street so I called the cops and had an officer stop and talk to me so I could explain what was going on…he looked for the kid but must not have found him since he was just out in the street again racing up and down…so I called back as the officer asked but I think it is going to be a whack a mole situation for a while until he stumbles on he kid…I also told him about the drug house to the north of me that has a constant stream of cars stopping there and he told me they are aware of it and the house across the street where all the noise is coming from…and someone else made a noise call yesterday since he told me they got one and it wasn’t me…so that is cool to have more than just me calling…
June 18th
Well…I am so damn exhausted this morning…up at 4 and then out of bed before 6 and that is not helping with my energy level…it’s 51 out there right now so I’ll have to wait a bit before I can go out on the bike…it’s still only 6:50 so I guess I have time to wait….didn’t get a lot done yesterday but I am going to try to get more done today…but I don’t want to…just want to sit here and do nothing for just one day….I do need to start prepping for everything that is going to happen to me over the next few months starting with the teeth work on the 10th of July….just want it all to be over…yeah…pretty depressed this morning but not defined depression…just the feeling of being overwhelmed with life and health issues….and eating too much so I’m gaining weight….so today will be a one meal day with a piece of chicken and 8 spears of asparagus and that should be under 500 calories for the day…but I am going to have a banana before the bike rides…so that will add a hundred cals and I can live with that…not much to do today…there are the Indy car and F1 races on today and the US plays in the Nations League final later but that’s not on til 9 so I won’t see much of it….I really do need more coffee….more later…
