Well…have been having problems finding a topic today but something just popped up that reminded me that things are still happening in all of the investigations into the idiot trump…just yesterday, a grand jury in NY asked Michael Cohen for his phones to gather more evidence into the hush money payments that idiot boy ordered Cohen to make to Stormy Daniels and that Cohen did 18 months in jail for…and I think this is a brand new GJ just seated this week so it will take some time for them to get up to speed…the one thing you have to remember is that no prosecutor would convene a GJ unless they had enough evidence to charge someone…and that someone is idiot boy. In Georgia, the GJ that was investigating idiot boy and others for election interference has finished it’s work and now we are just waiting for Fani Willis to announce any indictments and that could come this week…and another prosecutor in NY is going after the entire trump crime family with lawsuits regarding the conviction of the trump org. on 15 felony counts of fraud…so that is moving, too…but I am getting a little impatient for the multitude of shoes to drop…just indict him already…geez…
February 1st
Well…that was another whiplash inducing sleep with tossing and turning all night..woke up at 3 and 5:04 and the out of bed at 6:34 but I’m having trouble getting going…and I need to get going since I need to be out of here in an hour to do the grocery run with planning to hit the Sternberg road stores and DD…had an okay day yesterday but didn’t get anything done…I do need to do laundry today and Man U plays at 3 so I’ll need to be done by then..done with what, I don’t know…maybe some cleaning but I’m going to just wing it for a while….still don’t need to cook today but will use up the leftovers…I am getting some pork chops at Meijers today and I may see if I have enough gas in the grill to grill a couple of them tomorrow…it didn’t snow last night so that’s cool but I think there is more in the forecast and some pretty cold temps…then we get a warm up into the high 30’s for a week or so…and that gets us closer to March and spring…paid my gas bill yesterday and it was a bad one at 125 bucks but that should be the highest one I have this winter..I hope anyway…not much to do today…just the grocery run and then cleaning but I’m not too motivated to do that right now…maybe later in the day…more later….
Just another day…
Well…it’s the last day of the month so I thought I’d done more as I start getting ready for lots of money to go out and lots of doctor/dentist appointments to go to…haven’t done much today but clear and salt the walks out front since the snow has been light enough that the salt has kept the ones I salted yesterday clear…I did have a couple of sparrows on the feeder today so I’m expecting that I’ll see more of them over the next week or so…was just waiting for them to find it but it took them two years and I couldn’t figure that out….I wonder if it will turn into the mosh pit I had in GR? I am looking forward to getting back on the bike Friday and getting some exercise again….I have gained some weight over the past three weeks and I’ll probably need to stay with one meal a day for a couple of weeks to get rid of it…but, we’ll see…okay, need to do the dishes and my teeth so I’ll end here….
A broad conspiracy…
Well…with the arrest of the FBI traitor Mcgonigal in relation to his getting paid off by the Russians to interfere with the 2016 election and the recent disclosure that Michael Flynn also paid him 28k to lie to James Comey to get him to re-open the investigation into Hillary’s e-mails, we can see that this was a broad conspiracy to install trump in the presidency….and it was all run by the Russians…but the sick part that hasn’t been revealed yet is why the NY Times pushed the e-mail story relentlessly when there was nothing to it…were they being paid by the Russians, too? I think we need an investigation into the reporters and editors who were involved in pushing this story since they are still doing it today by pushing right wing talking points every damn day….and it’s the same cast of characters around trump who were convicted of their crimes that he pardoned and are still stirring up violence even after the January 6th attacks…what the hell does it take to bring criminals to justice in this country? And that goes for Barr and Dunham who lied to the country about the investigation into the Russia interference in the election…if no one is held accountable, all of this crap is going to happen again…or it is happening but they’ve just gotten better at hiding it….geez…
January 31st
Well…damn, it’s only 9 degrees out there and I am thankful that my furnace just keeps on running like clockwork…was up and down all night last night with waking up for good at 6:11 but then lying in bed til 6:43 as the cobwebs receded….the broken sleep has left me pretty worn out this morning and I need the coffee to work soon…it was supposed to snow out here last night but my sidewalks are still clear so I may not need to shovel today…I don’t mind doing it but it would be a little cold at 9 degrees….didn’t get anything done yesterday and today will probably be the same with the lack of motivation I’m feeling right now…I did have lots of birds on the feeder yesterday and the sparrows have started to find it and I am curious how the Juncos are going to react to that…had a couple of aggressive Cardinals that stirred things up and attacked the Juncos to drive them off the feeder and sill before they got on the feeder….will need to go out and load it up again at some point…not much to do today…just going to ease into it as I normally do and enjoy the last few days of not riding the bike….haven’t gained much weight with not riding but I am looking forward to not starving myself…it’s a lot of work not eating…more later…

Well…with the dysfunction in the House driven by the repub morons being in charge and the news coverage of it, this just might be good for our side especially if the media starts calling them out and gets it right that all of the economic damage that is coming is the fault of the repubs…and I think that it is a mistake by Biden to even talk to mccarthy about the hostage taking they are doing about the debt ceiling….I really don’t think they even know what the debt ceiling is if you listen to mccarthy try to explain it…he thinks it’s like using a credit card to spend more when it is really just paying for what has already been spent…it’s that simple but they just don’t get it….one tiny little bright spot that may be a preview of things to come was from Chuck Todd of all people just blasting jim jordan on MTP Sunday and not letting him lie his way through the interview…now we need the rest of the media to do the same thing every time they have one of these liars on their shows…not really confident they will but I can hope…geez…
January 30th
Well…damn, I’m getting tired of not sleeping…up at 3 again today, then back up at 5:34 and out of bed around 7:25…and you would think that would be enough sleep to feel restored but I don’t…and I just looked at the banner at the bottom of the screen an it is only 19 degrees and that is depressing….and it snowed more last night so I’ll have to go out to shovel at some point….but that can wait for quite a while…I do need to clean some today but I don’t need to cook since I’m still working on that pork shoulder and I have two small slabs of ribs that need to be used and I think I’m going to go back to two meals on wed since I can get back on the bike Friday….they still haven’t plowed the streets up here so it looks like I’m going to have to shovel my way out of the alley tomorrow and I’m not sure my back will take it…I guess we’ll see…still no water on the floor downstairs and I think I’ll get another big jug of drain cleaner and pour it down the drain Wed….will probably still need to rent an auger but I’m hoping it will wait til spring….not much to do today…just going to sit here and drink coffee for a bit and maybe post out on Mastodon after I read the news….more later…
Some good news…
Well…as I was planning for the things Ineed to do this week, I looked on mychart to check when the appointment for the blood draw is…I really thought it was on the 6th of Feb but it is scheduled for the third…so that means it will be exactly 3 weeks off the bike and I can get back on it Friday after they take the blood…might even do a three ride day and I will be able to eat again…haven’t gained a lot of weight…some, but not a lot and it has been pretty hard keeping my calorie intake down around 600 per day….I’ll be able ot go all the way up to 1000 a day and that will mean two meals a day again…no matter how much torture riding the bike indoors is, I can’t wait to get back on it to get my fitness back…
Their latest tax scheme…
Well….the repubs are out with their latest tax scheme and it is aimed right at poor and middle class taxpayers…and for people like me who live on SS and have no income tax liability, it would raise our tax obligation to 30%. If you haven’t read about it yet, the repubs propose to get rid of the IRS and income taxes and replace them with a 30% sales tax on everything…and that would be the biggest tax increase on middle and low income taxpayers in history, and the biggest tax cut on the rich and corporations in the history of the country…as actual economists have commented, sales taxes are the most regressive type of taxes that there are and they impact the poor most since the percentage of their income taken with the sales tax is such a greater proportion than the rich…and I really don’t know how I would even be able to live if my SS was cut by 30%…but this is what the repubs always do when they are in charge…attack the poor and middle class even though they are their voters…and those idiots keep voting for them and that leads us to where we are now…with SS and Medicare in danger and the biggest tax increase in history proposed by these idiots…geez…
Darn snow…
Well…darn snow…it took me a hour to do the snow today and clear the walks of the 8 inches that fell last night…and now my back is under heat again and the whole thing is pretty stiff and painful…but the heat has been working and the pain is nowhere near what it was a few weeks ago so I can live with it….and it is sunny out here for the first time in 13 days so I had to wear sunglasses out there or my night vision would be non-existent later in the day….more later…
