Well…still running late again today and I’m not sure if is the new normal or not but I guess we’ll see in a few more days….slept okay last night but was up at around 5 again and I think I’m getting fatigued from it…but, I’ll stop bitching about that…I did get a few things done yesterday and I need to go out to get some different adhesive to re-attach the gate stop since the wind broke it loose yesterday…it had been loosening all summer and I knew I was going to have to repair it so I’ll get on that this morning after I get the first ride in…I think I may be edging up on a one ride day here soon since I went over 4200 miles yesterday and only have 800 more to do this year…and I do like not having constant pain in my legs….and I think I’m going to get more lawn food since it looks like the lawn needs it….and I should start on wire brushing the railing around the flat roof so I can paint that next week…I did make some of the coffee that my brother made in the coffee maker this morning and it is pretty damn good…will be my treat coffee for when I need something special and the normal stuff just isn’t doing it for me…not much to do today….just the bike rides and fixing the gate…might mow the lawn and then feed it too but we’ll see…I do need to cook today so I need to put some time for that in the schedule so the chicken I thawed won’t spoil….more later…

Well…not sure what the demographics are of the people who come here every day, and I’m not sure if any of that matters with the latest threat to human lives that the idiot trump and his minions have just done. Just Monday, these hate filled sacks of crap stopped collecting the taxes that support Social security and Medicare, using the catchall repub talking point that they are doing that to spur the economy…and it’s strange that the only solution for every problem this country faces is a tax cut…never mind that tax cuts never work other than to make the rich richer….what this will do is cut off payments to people on SS disability early next year if trump is re-elected, and will end SS and Medicare by 2023 since there won’t be any money if the taxes are not collected….now listen to me….SS will be gone in two years…something we paid for all of our lives that allowed others to retire and not starve will be gone….and people who are approaching retirement age and who are depending on SS to able to retire are just shit out of luck if you older folks continue to vote for the repubs…they have been trying to end SS since FDR signed it into law in the 1930’s and this is the gravest threat to it that there has ever been…no more healthcare for retirees, either…so what they are saying is if you’re old and get sick, the only option is to die since Medicare will be gone….now, is this a good enough reason to vote for Joe Biden in November? The media is strangely silent on this issue…no screaming headlines that 30 million Americans will be left to starve if trump is re-elected, nope…nothing at all when it should be the only headline on every news show from now until the election and every damn shill for trump should be asked that question every day…”do you support letting 30 million people starve just to give more tax cuts to the rich?” These are the stakes, folks…and we need all hands on deck to vote these callous assholes out permanently….geez…
September 3rd
Well…running really late this morning even with waking up at 5:13…but I rolled over and tried to get back to sleep and must have since the next time I looked at my phone it was 7…so that puts me behind for everything…should be on the bike already but I need coffee before I do that….I did get some stuff done yesterday and was pretty busy most of the day…even got two rides in and fed the lawn…I’m not sure what is going on with the lawn…doing everything I normally do with lawns and it’s not working…the front has dead patches all over it and the whole thing is turning brown so we’ll see if the food helps…might have to get more food next week since I’ve only fed it once this summer before yesterday…it would be nice if it would rain sometime….I did start to wind down the downstairs project yesterday and started putting some equipment away and that will continue over the next couple of months until I shut it down completely…need to start prepping to move even if I don’t know where I will be moving to…not much to do today…and that is true today…I may take the day off other than cooking and riding…and maybe a little cleaning….still feel pretty worn out but need to get going here in a minute….more later….

Well…does this sound like a sane person to you? “And you have people coming over with bags of soup and the anarchists…start throwing it at our cops…and if it hits you, it’s worse than a brick because that’s got force…and when they get caught, they say, no, this is just soup for my family”…No? Good then maybe we are still sane enough to tell that trump truly is nuts…crazy…and it is getting worse..this one was in July preceding the super ninja airplane story from a few days back that made my jaw drop…is there any amount of delusion or crazy that will get the repubs to invoke the 25th amendment? What’s next? Invisible planes full of soup throwing anarchists who are hiding in Joe Biden’s basement? If this wasn’t so serious, it would be damn funny that any public figure would talk like that…or think that he should continue opening his mouth as he digs the hole he is in even deeper…but the troubling thing for this country is that over 40% of the people think this craziness is perfectly fine and they will vote for the idiot trump even as he descends further and further into his private delusions…maybe because they are delusional, too? Well…crap…back to sleeping bad again and was up at 4:24 again and couldn’t get back to sleep so this is going to be a long day….but it’s raining out there right now so I may have to go out on the bike a little later this morning….and that’s okay, we sure needed rain…my front lawn is dying and I can’t afford to put water on it…or as much as it needs….man, I’m tired….I did get a few things done yesterday…had an electrical socket fail so I had to put a new one of those in downstairs and I got some more grass seed but bought the wrong stuff so I have to run back out to Menards and get the right stuff before I do the grocery run this morning….if it keeps raining, I’ll probably do that early and since I can’t get on the bike until later and need to get that done…almost didn’t get on the bike for the second ride yesterday but finally got the energy to do it around 3:30 after I cleaned up the new bike and took it out for a ride around the neighborhood….I am damn tired of being sore all the time but I know the only way to stop that is not to ride twice a day…and I’m not ready for that yet….not much to do today….just the grocery run and I need to feed the lawn along with cleaning some but I’m not motivated at all right now so that will come later….I hope…more later….

Well…don’t know if you saw the latest unhinged interview that idiot boy did yesterday but the only conclusion that can be drawn from it is that he is just nuts…I mean drooling into his lap nuts…disconnected from reality nuts….and the whole interview was the moron pushing one conspiracy theory after another and he couldn’t even function in the softball fox interview where he was prompted and still couldn’t make any sense. He started out ranting about a Biden presidency saying “they” will control him and that it will be a revolution…never once explaining who “they” are but expressing the certainty of a madman that “they” are real…then he went on about the “people who are in the dark shadows” being the ones that are controlling Biden like a puppet…and he finished up this madman’s rant with another whopper of a lie that “somebody got on a plane this weekend and the plane was loaded with thugs wearing these dark uniforms and gear and this and that” and when asked where it was his answer was “I’ll tell you sometime but it’s under investigation right now”. Now we all know the idiot lies constantly so we can take the whole damn thing as a lie…but worse than that is that he truly sounds like a raving lunatic…and one that 40% of the country still thinks is the “best president ever”….as I write this, I’m shaking my head at how far the US has fallen due to trump and his minions….and November 3rd can’t come too soon….geez…
September 1st
Well…man, I feel like my batteries have run down completely this morning and I just can’t get moving…can’t remember feeling this crappy in quite a while and I’m sure I don’t like it…and yeah, part of it is from not eating enough…only had a brat and a blt all day yesterday and that is only about a thousand calories…it was funny that just riding once helped the pain in my legs so much…I was walking around here with just a little stiffness in the afternoon and I kind of liked it…not enough to skip the second ride every day but it is nice to know that when I cut back on riding my legs will heal…I think I may have to take a day off of everything soon and just veg…just fatigued and would really like to just melt into the couch for a day…but, I won’t….still have things to get done that I didn’t do yesterday…need to hit Menards this morning to get some more topsoil and grass seed to finish up the bare patches in the front yard and get a new plug for one that failed downstairs the other day…should probably start patching the back yard too….have lots of spots that have died back there and I need to keep watering to or the whole yard will die….not much to do today…that may be true if I can’t get moving soon…but I have to so I guess I’ll have more coffee and try a little harder….more later….
Got to see my grandson today…
Well…you know, it’s a pretty good day when you get to see your first grandchild for the first time….I got to go out this morning and hang out with my son and daughter in law for a while and hold my grandson and it was pretty damn cool….he is a big baby…9 1/2 pounds and 23 inches long at birth and he has lots of hair….oh, and the capper is he has my eyes…the exact color of mine and I think that is pretty cool, too…well…it’s the same color as my son’s, too since he has brown eyes….and he looks like both of them combined but I’m sure that will change over time…so now, I have to live a bit longer to see him grow up…can’t wait to see that….
We are going to have to purge every police department…
Well…not sure if you saw the footage the other day of the police in Kenosha attacking protesters there….and this has been going on for days but you know one group they aren’t attacking? The gun toting right wing assholes who have killed at least three people over the past few days…and what was the reaction of the cops to this? Yep, you guessed it…they asked these thugs if there was anything they needed, gave them water, and told them to keep up what they are doing….keep up what they’re doing? Like attacking protesters from the windows of their trucks with pepper spray? Like running protesters down with their cars? Like coming from other states to murder peaceful protesters? This kind of behavior from the police just reveals the deep seated racist rot that infest police departments across this country…in every damn state we see them teaming up with violent right wing assholes or ignoring their crimes to beat and kill peaceful protesters. The only solution for this rot is to purge every damn one of these racist assholes from every police department across this country and get rid of “qualified immunity” that allows the police to get away with their crimes and keep them from being held accountable…until this happens, there will only be more murder and more riots instigated by these fascists as the police stand by and root them on….
August 31st
Well…running a little late today with not getting up until almost 6…slept okay but feel pretty crappy today and I think it’s the ragweed and goldenrod that are flowering and driving my allergies nuts…and I’m pretty damn tired but still need to get out on the bike here in a few minutes…the swelling in my foot and ankle is finally coming down and if it keeps up, it may be back to normal in a couple of weeks…this is the longest it’s ever been puffy and I’m not sure what the cause is….it may be that the weather is not as hot as it has been all summer…but who knows? I didn’t go out to see my new grandson yesterday since he had a bad night and my son and daughter in law had been up all night with him…going to try again this morning and I hope it works out….need to get some photos for my friends to see…didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today looks about the same…okay, I did get the lawn mowed and some clean up work done but I’m just not too motivated right now and I may take the day off after I get back….might even only do one ride today since I am pretty sore right now and probably should take an ibuprofen before I get on the bike….more later…
