Well…running a little late today and it is because I had to go out for groceries…just couldn’t pass up a turkey for 54 cents a pound…where can you buy protein for that money these days? And, I really like turkey and turkey soup so that is something to look forward to for Sat when it is thawed….slept okay last night but another night of no dreams is a little frustrating…why do all the work of sleeping if you don’t get a free movie? I did have a nice lunch with T yesterday and that kicked off the week on a good note..always fun to hang out with her…and, I got the snow tires on the car in anticipation of the big storm coming but now there is supposed to be less snow so maybe I jumped the gun….would rather change them out when it was in the 50′s than the 20′s so maybe it was a good idea…and the car looks bad with the black wheels on it so that is s good thing…not much to do today…I am going to get out on the bike in shorts for one last time if it’s not raining but that is about it…more later…

November 10th
Well…running a little late this morning and there really is no reason for it…not really late now that I look at the time..it just feels like I’m running late…that’s weird….slept crappy again but that’s nothing new and I didn’t accomplish anything yesterday but vegging…was really good at that so maybe that’s something? Just did the sports thing all day and the Lions won so that was a good thing that was unexpected…feel okay today since I was good last night and that will continue all week this week…I am going to buy a turkey this week and cook it this weekend since there is no cheaper protein and I really like turkey…I mean, 54 cents a pound? Might even get a big one at that price…not much to do today…might have lunch with T but that is about it…the repair on the tooth has held up for a couple of days now but I don’t think it’s permanent…better than nothing, though…more later…
Just another one…
Well…as I expected, it has been a total veg day today since the couch was so inviting and there was just tons of sports on…in the middle of the race right now and then the Wings start at 6 or so so that will keep me busy until Walking Dead comes on at 9…yep, I do live a boring life right now but that’s okay…the Lions did another come from behind win this aft and I don’t remember the last time they won 4 in a row so that was cool and a pleasant surprise after I gave up on them earlier…..but I just had a feeling they may do something special so I turned it back on with a little under three minutes left…I am getting excited about the comet landing on Wed…nope, going to turn that one into a post of it’s own later in the week….so, I guess that’s enough for now..still haven’t read any news since last week and it really hasn’t been a bad thing…might just keep that up for a while…
November 9th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get anything done…and today is shaping up to be the same as Sundays usually are…slept okay last night but no dreams to speak of again so I won’t…I still feel pretty crappy from the cold/allergies and that is getting really tiring…but I guess I’ll just live with it for now…might have to go out this week to buy a turkey since they are going for around 50 cents a pound at Meijers and there is no protein that is that cheap…and, I can use the carcass to make soup…not much to do today…going to get on the bike in a few minutes even though it is only 36…I do have the thermasuit figured out so that won’t be bad….more later…okay…there is football and races on today that I forgot to mention…so, there…I mentioned it…
November 8th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I won at pool so that was cool…and I did have the top down out and back so that added something…not sure what….slept okay last night but no dreams to speak of which is a little disappointing…and, the cold/allergies are just killing me this morning…might have to take some allergy stuff this morning it is so bad…it’s kinda draining my energy, too, so with the rain, I may just skip the bike ride this morning and wait til this afternoon…Man U plays at 10 and the Chelsea/Liverpool match is a good one and on right now so I need to get back to that one….not much to do today…might just make it a veg day with all the sports/races on but the bathroom needs a cleaning so I may do that, or I may not…who knows? More later….
November 7th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done around here so that was cool…slept okay but woke up sore today and that is getting old…and, the allergies/bug is still keeping my eyes dry and itchy and I want it to be over pretty soon….not sure what the heck is still out there to be allergic to but there must be something….still haven’t read any news…well hardly any…and I think that will continue through the weekend….not much to do today…skipped the bike ride yesterday so I need to get out there after the next cup of coffee…I did get to a new record of 30.8 mph on my downhill run wed but the wind changed by the time I got to the bottom of the hill so no new top speed record…but 34.5 is still pretty fast…not sure when I’ll get the next chance to try for a new one….more later…
November 6th
Well….still not coping well with the debacle from Tuesday but I think I have found a work around by not reading any news…so, I’m going to try that again today…slept crappy again last night but I think this time it is the cold/allergies that are really bad right now…don’t feel bad but just can’t breathe at night…have a really annoying wheeze that is amplified by wearing earplugs and that keeps me awake, too….I did get a bunch of stuff done yesterday and I have more to do today so that will help keep me away from the news, too…..not much to do today…have the grocery run first and then back here to wait for the rain to stop so I can get out…it looks like yesterday will be the last day in shorts on the bike but not for just getting around…still have the goal of getting to t-day but the next week is going to be a trial with temps int he 20′s and 30′s…more later…

Well…awoke this morning to a full blown case of depression since our side stayed home and now the repubs own the country…or I should say that the Koch’s now own the country and I am so pissed at our lazy voters who stayed home…okay…can’t even write more I am so disappointed…maybe I won the lotto and can leave this country….
November 4th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done…slept okay but no dreams to speak of and I feel okay today with being good last night….I am getting depressed about the coming weather that is going to be in the 30′s all week next week…not ready to put the snowies on the car yet and I’m not going to….will just have to hibernate here if it snows….it is election day so I need to get out and vote this morning after the rush…if there is any…I should have cocktails tonight with all the bad news that is coming…going to be really depressed for the next week or so when the repubs will be crowing…I just can’t believe people are so stupid to vote for them after how badly they have screwed up Michigan….oh, well….will talk about that later in another one….more later….

Well…running late again today since the server was down again until just now….it was an okay day yesterday but the bug got worse and today I feel better… a little, but still not good…looks like this will be an all week thing…it is T’s birthday today but I haven’t heard from her all weekend so I guess I’ll just wait to hear from her…slept crappy again last night…as always…and that is part of why I feel so tired today….didn’t get anything done yesterday but the bike ride…didn’t even cook anything and I may be under by a few hundred calories which may be compounding how I feel….not much to do today…have to dig out the voters guide from last weeks paper and do my homework for the election tomorrow but that is about it…..more later….
