Well….running on time for a Thursday and that means it’s a little late for a normal day….not sure why but I feel pretty crappy this morning…probably from not eating enough but I am going to fix that today…going to make a taco casserole and then some chicken thighs so I hope that fixes it…slept okay last night but my bed looks like a hurricane hit it so I must have tossed a bit…I had both earplugs in when I got up so that was new….I am a little disappointed that England lost yesterday but it should still be a good final…and I found out the Ukrainian woman at the checkout is actually from Croatia and she is happy that they are in the final……I did get a bunch of errands run yesterday and I may even clean the car today but I need to get the bike ride in first…not much to do today….going to just cook today and then veg it out…more later…
trump embarrasses the US again…
Well…I’ll bet Putin is just laughing his ass off and grinning with his puppet trump’s performance at the NATO breakfast this morning..god, can the idiot boy get any more embarrassing to us? Showing his ignorance and stupidity, trump went off on Germany today calling them “captive of Russia” because they get 35% of their natural gas from Russia…and you could visibly see everyone else in the room cringe when idiot boy went off on his rant and when the adults in the room tried to correct his lies with facts, this moron just shouted them down and wouldn’t listen. This all plays into Putin’s goals of breaking up the EU and NATO and sowing discord that will reduce Europe’s power to contain Russia….goals that trump seems to gleefully embrace as he trashes our closet allies. I have a bit of advice for the friends we have left in the world, just frickin ignore trump and his minions and go your own way until we can get rid of this idiot…and that day is coming…just not soon enough…impeach…
July 11th
Well…running on time today and I really shouldn’t be…haven’t been feeling that hot the past few days and I’m not sure what it is…slept okay last night but have this feeling of fatigue today so I think I’ll ease into it…I did have a nice lunch with T yesterday and it is funny to see her turning into a soccer geek like me…but, Belgium lost yesterday and that is a little depressing…but I still have England to root for this afternoon and then the final on Sunday…and the premier league starts back up in a couple of weeks so that will give me something to watch…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but have errands to run after the ride today that will take me to lunch….need to figure out what to cook but nothing looks too appealing so that may be a chore…more later….
Pardons for attempted murder?
Well…it just continues to get worse and worse with the idiot trump and his pardons…today he pardoned two guys that that set fires on federal lands that almost killed firefighters just to cover up their illegal hunting….I don’t know how much more of this I can take…after hearing the Kennedy made a backroom deal with trump to retire after getting promises that his former law clerk, Cavanaugh, would get the seat, and now pardoning two far right assholes that deliberately tried to kill firefighters by setting a second fire when the firefighters responded to the first fire they set. Now we know, the repub party is filled with criminals that have no respect for the rule of law…what’s next? A pardon for the first person to murder a dem? That’s what it’s come to in this country and every damn repub is responsible….impeach…

Well…feeling a little crappy today with my stomach still giving me fits and I’m not sure what that is about…slept okay last night but no dreams to speak of but that is the new normal around here…it was a pretty nice day and had a great ride out and back to pool…which I lost for the second week in a row…and I got out to have a couple with G who I haven’t seen in a couple of months….and that started my night out a little early and could be why I feel a little slow this morning….I am looking forward to the Belgium/France game this afternoon and to having lunch with T….haven’t seen her for a few weeks and lunch should be fun…I do need to run some errands but I guess that will have to be moved til tomorrow….more later…
Now trump threatens breastfeeding?
Well…in the latest of a sordid line of new lows, trump and his minions have now taken to threatening countries that support breastfeeding…yeah, you heard that right…at the World Health Assembly, Ecuador was going to introduce a resolution supporting breastfeeding, and instead of just voting no after it was introduced, trump’s thugs threatened to punish Ecuador with trade sanctions and withdrawal of military aid if they did…so Ecuador didn’t introduce the resolution…but guess who did? Yep, Russia…and guess what trump’s response was? Silence…no threats, no nothing….I am just so tired of this asshole and his minions doing everything they can to wreck our standing in the world, and for what? To support the formula manufacturers? Cripes…Mueller, get moving…we can’t take much more of this….impeach…
July 9th
Well…running a little early today but there really is no reason for it…with the world cup on last week, I had to get out on the bike by 7:30 every day…but no game until tomorrow afternoon so I can kind of ease into the day today…my stomach gave me fits yesterday but it seems okay right now….not sure what that was about but it may have been from not eating enough….have to remember that even a big salad is not enough for a meal….still don’t feel that hot right now, though, but I’m sure it’s not from not eating enough….well…not sure but maybe….didn’t get anything else done but laundry and dishes and today will be the same with pool this aft…just can’t get started…I may have to take a day off the bike soon to let the legs rest….have been on it every day for almost 3 months now and that is a bit much…more later…
Evel live….
Well….have had a lazy day today and just saw something that might be interesting to watch tonight…not sure if you know who Travis Pastrana is but he is a pretty famous motocross racer…has been on the “Xgames” quite a bit and tonight, he is going to try to re-create Evel Knievel’s three most famous jumps live on the History channel at 7…he is going to try to jump over 50 cars, 19 buses, and the Ceasar’s Palace fountain that Evel almost killed himself jumping…I remember seeing that jump live on “ABC’s Wild World of Sports” when I was a kid….well… not a kid but a lot younger than I am now…and he is even going to do the jumps on a comparable motorcycle…a big twin Indian that weighs twice Pastrana’s normal bike. So, that’s what I’ll be doing at 7 tonight…I know with the technology and preparation, there is little chance that he will crash doing these stunts but it will still be cool to watch….
And, I have leftover cocktail materials for it…yay!
July 8th
Well…as you can see, I’m running really late this morning with doing the bike ride first to get back here for the F1 race that starts in a few minutes…slept okay last night and felt really crappy when I got up and that made for a long bike ride…and only having a half cup of coffee before I went out didn’t help…didn’t do much yesterday but watch sports with soccer and races on…and I just remembered that the Tour de France is on, too, so I need to remember to watch that later….so today will probably be another veg day…at least for a while….I did get my berries for the traditional ice cream and berries this morning but that will wait until later in the week…more later….
North Korea beats trump…
Well…we all know that trump and his cronies are the most inept bunch of morons that have ever infested our government…whether it’s the idiotic tariffs that have already cost thousands of American jobs and have stopped investment here with the “uncertainty” of idiot boy’s policies….or it’s the incoherent foreign policy that has the rest of the world basically ignoring trump, the wreckage he is leaving behind is immense. The latest is the misguided attempt of a diplomatic solution to the NK nuclear program that just blew up yesterday. Did you expect anything else? After the idiot trump met with Kim and declared that their nuclear program was no longer a threat after he talked to Kim for an hour, it was revealed that NK is going ahead full steam on expanding and modernizing it’s nukes…and the idiot’s SoS Mike Pompeo crowed that the talks that he just had with NK were “productive”, NK has a really, really different take on the talks that consisted of Pompeo threatening NK and telling them they had to get rid of all of their program for nothing in return…NK called the talks “regrettable” and got their upgrade in status giving up nothing for it…and China got a tighter grip on Asia that, under every damn president other than idiot boy, we had fought to prevent. That is the problem with morons who think they’re the smartest people in the room…they can be manipulated easily by telling them what they want to hear…then our adversaries do what they want anyway…impeach…
