Well…this is a little disturbing…news reports all over the internet today are giving the US the bad news that, because of the idiot repubs not getting vaccinated, the holy grail of herd immunity that would allow us get our society back to normal is just not going to happen if 30+ percent of the population refuses to get vaccinated…and that means that this damn virus and it’s variants and even new variants will be with us for “a generation” and that means that the disruption to our lives will due to spikes in infections and mutations that are sure to come is going to become permanent, along with the slow, painful deaths that come from it….and this will mean yearly vaccinations for those of us who don’t have their heads up their asses and rolling restrictions that will be re-applied whenever a new variant comes along….and all because these morons won’t get a tiny little jab in the arm. We all know that repubs are the most selfish people on the planet, but this is beyond the pale…putting people at risk of death or serious illness just because idiots like tucker and the rest of fox news are still telling them everything is about “freedumb” and they are lapping it up like the dogs they are. At least some companies have had enough of this bullshit and are requiring their employees to be vaccinated or they are out of a job…and no stupid excuse is going to work…either get the jab or leave….I wonder how the repubs will react to this? Idiot boy is the superspreader…
Well…if it wasn’t bad enough that the idiot trump ignored the severity of the virus from the start and that has led to 200K American deaths…now we know that idiot boy was the one who has spread the virus to damn near everyone in the WH and members of congress. Just today his doctors said that he knew he had the virus on Wednesday but continued to not wear a mask when he went to a “rally” and then to a fundraiser that day…so now he is personally responsible for at least 10 people getting sick but the tally hasn’t ended…we will probably see this weekend how many others he has infected and how many are going to die from trump just being his normal asshole self…now, in any normal time, this right here would be disqualifying and the repubs should throw him out…but, I guess that is going to be left up to us in a month since anything idiot boy does is just peachy with them….so please people…get out and vote and let’s get this country back on track….
Stay away from Harley riders…
Well…if we didn’t already know that most Harley riders are maga asshats, just take a look at what is happening this week in Sturgis SD where a hundred thousand or more have gathered for the annual motorcycle rallye…take a look at the photos folks…packed shoulder to shoulder, bars open, and not a mask in sight…you want to see the next virus hotspot? Here it is….and every damn one of these morons spout off that they don’t care if they get the virus, their “freedom” will protect them…and many of them are still lying their asses off parroting the idiot trump that the virus is a “hoax” and only effects “demorats” so they are safe. Now, here is the wholesale stupidity that got trump into office…but I wonder how these idiot are going to feel when they take the virus home and kill other family members? Well….stupid, stupid repub governors…you morons believed a serial liar and your own political nonsense and look where that got you…the damn virus is not political and it can be ignored or wished away, it can’t be stopped with politics or conspiracy theories, and no matter that trump has given up trying to save American lives because he got bored…the virus doesn’t care…if you give it a chance by jamming people onto the beaches, bars, and rallies…it is going to win…if you have morons who won’t wear masks in public, it is going to win…if you have people running government who are too stupid to understand how this virus spreads and kills, it is going to win…and that is the case now in 27 states who “opened” up before meeting any of the milestones that the experts told them they would have to meet because trump said it was all a dem plot…and they don’t have the smarts or guts to buck him…or they fear losing the moronic trump base who are just a death cult at this point but who are necessary for any repub to get elected today and they have made the choice that the base is the only thing that is important…as of today, we have the highest new cases in the US since the pandemic started and the trump bleats that “but deaths are going down” as he again doesn’t understand or care that deaths lag reported cases by a couple of weeks or so…so now we have a situation where we could end up with half a million Americans dead due to trump’s and his cronies political malfeasance….and it is all on the heads of repubs who did nothing until it was too late…and who won’t use what we have learned from the dem states that went through this early just to “own” the libs…this is murder, plain and simple…when the head of the federal government just stops doing his job and lets Americans die, is is murder…trump should be impeached and removed for this but it won’t happen because the repubs in the senate don’t much care for Americans either, and getting unqualified, right wing judges is more important than American lives to them….they need to pay in November when there will be half a million less Americans who can vote….criminal…
We are officially a “shithole country” now…
Well…with trump’s blunders and stupidity over the past 4 years, the US’s standing and respect in the world is at an all time low with former allies going their own ways and enemies taking advantage of the incompetence of trump and his cronies. But, the latest coming out of the EU and the UK officially stamps us as a “shithole country”…both Europe and the UK are going to ban travel from the US since trump and his federal government have given up on fighting the coronavirus and have decided to delude themselves that the pandemic is “over” and everything is just fine…no matter that the red states that followed trump’s lead while kissing his ass have seen an explosion of cases and that explosion is just going to get worse as trump shuts down all federal testing in 9 states that are crumbling under the virus caseload. It is so bad in the south that New York is implementing a mandatory 2 week quarantine for anyone traveling from one of those failed states to keep the hard work they did to control the virus for being for nothing…and I’m pretty sure that is going to happen here in Michigan where we had under 300 new cases yesterday and only 19 deaths as compared to almost 8,000 cases in Texas and, since the liars in Florida won’t report accurate numbers, an estimated 12,000 cases in one day in Florida….all this from a virus that repubs said was just alarmist bull from dems to hurt their states. How many times do the people in red states have to bear the stupidity of the leaders they elect? Probably forever since they have shown that they can’t learn and don’t care that people are dying from this incompetence….so now, trump, welcome to the shithole country you created….
There’s going to be a new hotspot…
Well….I think I bitched about this before but it came back to me riding through the parking lot for John Ball park this morning…I really think the park is going to be a new hotspot for the coronavirus looking at the hundred or so people who were in the parking lot today and none of them were wearing masks…and the lots were full to overflow so how are they doing social distancing? I was going to write about how well the people of Michigan have done with wearing masks and doing everything else to help control the virus they have been asked…enough to where Michigan is one of three states who are in the green for new infections and deaths…but I think this has made people complacent…especially in this very red portion of the state that still supports the idiot trump and have sent reps to the state government who have done everything they can to keep our governor from protecting the people of this state under the guise of “freedum” or some such nonsense….I surely hope I’m wrong and there is not enough virus here to cause a spike…but, all across the country we are seeing cases explode when things “open” so I think that is probably wishful thinking….

Well….I do want to do a political one today but I don’t want to talk about the idiot boy…so, I won’t….I do want to talk about other things…like our governor here in Michigan who I think is doing a great job during this crisis…but I have one little bitch about coverage of the gradual re-opening of businesses here that starts today….the media always pairs it with the moronic protests that the rw assholes have been doing here and that needs to stop since every damn one of them imply that it is the protests that started the opening process and not the measured, logical response of Governor Whitmer….who is just doing what she said she was going to do when the science allowed it…and not because some yahoos carrying confederate flags and trump posters forced her to….so media…stop that crap…I know headlines like those are clickbait to goose traffic to your sites but attacking a woman to make her look weak when she is doing her difficult job well is just the worst kind of misogyny and wouldn’t happen if she were a man….cripes it’s 2020…not 1920….
The “hoax” invades the WH…
Well…I would laugh but I won’t enjoy anyone being exposed to this damn virus…but there is a little irony in the fact that the coronavirus has reached the WH with at least two confirmed positive cases there and quite a few people going into self-isolation with their exposure to those people….but, the idiot pair of pence and trump still refuse to wear masks since neither one of them understand how the virus is transmitted with the idiot in chief commenting that he was “surprised” that a person can test negative for a long time and then all of a sudden they are positive…cripes, that’s how viruses work you moron….and today, idiot boy is having another one of his fascist rally/virus presentation photo ops in the Rose Garden when he doesn’t have a clue who may be carrying the virus…and it can be spread before it shows up on the test…but he is too stupid to understand that so on he goes…putting more people at risk just so he can get his ego fluffed and showing just how much he doesn’t care about anyone but himself…he just needs to be gone….

Well…hey, idiot boy, didn’t you say that there were only going to be 15 cases of the virus and that “it will be gone soon”…then didn’t you say that there would be 30,000 dead and that meant you had done a”terrific job” of dealing with the virus? Now, I wonder where those goalposts are? Yeah, mounted on the back of Lamborghini that you are driving at full speed trying to keep up with the results of your bungling of the response…now where are they? Halfway to Cleveland as you announced that there was going to be at least 100,000 deaths but then your “secret assessment” that includes the effects of “reopening” the country predicts this stupid move is going to cost the country 3,000 deaths a day…and, let’s do the math….3,000 times 30 is 90,000 deaths in just one month…and as more and more people are exposed that could rise to more than a million a month….and that means the goalposts are now in the middle of the Pacific ocean mounted on a 4 engine ocean speedboat moving at 150 mph. And he still takes “no responsibility” when all of the experts say that if he had actually done anything in January and February, 90% of the deaths would have been prevented….I guess this is one thing that the idiot trump will be the “best” at…killing Americans with millions of deaths on his hands…more than the Civil War, more than every other war combined….I wonder where the goalposts will be next week…the moon? Space X has probably been contacted by idiot boy to use a Falcon 9 for that move….and trump tweets as Americans die….

Well….I really don’t think there is language to describe how incompetent trump and his cronies are in response to the coronavirus pandemic….maybe incompetence squared? Fip floppy? Whinery? Strategery? Okay, that last one was from ole GW but it still fits these morons….and now, the head person that was coordinating the vaccine/treatment response has been demoted/fired for telling trump that any reccommendations for treatments for the virus need to be based on science and not on the idiot trump’s “gut feel”…the last one that trump and fox news harped on and pushed as the “cure” for the virus has been shown in studies to kill people and make outcomes worse than if they weren’t treated….so in addition to the deaths that idiot boy is responsible for by his inaction and stupidity, he is now responsible for touting a deadly treatment that does nothing but kill people. Now we learn that HHS secretary Azar has appointed a crony to head the coronavirus response whose only qualification is…wait for it…that he is a dog breeder…no medical or scientific experience at all. What’s next? Putting a horse breeder on charge of FEMA? Oh, that was ole GW who did that…what’s wrong? Was ‘heckofajob Browie” not available? These assholes are playing at government and costing American’s their lives and yet they still have 41% of the country that still supports them….I really do think that “Idiocracy” is a how to manual for these morons and we are going to die because of it….
