Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done…I did see Man U win the title and the Wings finally win a game that may get them into the playoffs….and, I slept okay last night even without it being a cocktail night so maybe there is hope….I did take the car out for a ride to take a look at the flooding and for the first time that I can remember, the Thornapple has flooded across the streets in Ada…and the park out there is basically gone and I have the photos to prove it…I did get to put the top and windows down and even got a little sunburned….not much to do today…I do have some stuff to get done around here but that is about it….and I will be back later for one or more to get caught up for the month….more later…

Well…running late again today and it is because I had to go to Meijers to get some food for the grill…making pork loin chops, twice baked potatoes, and cooked carrots for lunch…yeah, I know…but food is about the only thing I have left to get excited about so I’m going to….slept okay last night, I think, but no dreams so it couldn’t have been that great….I did get out to see K for a few minutes yesterday and it was good to get out for a while…but with having a couple, that kept me off the bike that I will have to rectify today with a double run…maybe not, I am really working on not feeling the guilt when I skip…not working too well but I’m trying….not much to do today…other than cooking, working out, washing the car, and watching Man U this aft….and I do need to come back for another one since I am behind for the month….more later….

Well…it was a nasty, cold day yesterday and I gave up any thought of getting on the bike pretty early in the day so that meant I needed to do something so I got much work done around here…bathroom cleaned, and lots of other cleaning that I had been putting off…slept okay last night but got up with a screaming pain in my hip that has subsided some as I move around….it was a cocktail night last night but I feel okay this morning and can’t wait for the temp to come up so I can get out today and get a few miles in…the trails will probably be flooded but I want to see that anyway so that will be cool…if I don’t hear from K, I am going to put the top down on the car and take a cruise to look at the flooding…probably head out to Ada and then just follow the river for a while…want to see what the Thornapple looks like, too, so that might just be a plan….that looks like the only plans for the day so I am going to just hang out and let the day unfold….more later…maybe…

Well…it was a really long day yesterday with lunch with T, out with Tom for pool, and then back here for cocktails…so I am feeling a little slow today…didn’t eat enough either, so I will be low on energy for most of the day…I did sleep okay last night but it was just from being so worn out not any long term fix….and I didn’t come back for a second one either but there is one that I need to get to and that will be for later this morning…other than that, not much to do today…it is still too cold to go out on the bike in shorts so I will take the day off from riding and get some cleaning done around here and watch some soccer and races later in the day…more later…

Well…it was a day yesterday and I feel like a frickin mushroom with all of the rain….the top on the Miata leaked for the first time but I’m going to cut it some slack since we got inches of rain…didn’t do much but go out to the tool store and buy a c-clamp and got a free multi meter to test electrical circuits…cheap China stuff but they will do the job for the little I’ll use them…and 4 bucks? Can’t complain about that…the rest of the day was just the normal stuff that I’m sure you’re tired of hearing about. It was a cocktail night so I do feel a little slow today but the coffee should help that….not much to do today…oh, that’s not true…might have lunch with T, then out for pool, then drinks with K, then back here to rest….so it may just be a fun day for a change….more later…

Well…running late on a weekday and I’m not really sure why…I did have to do the grocery run this morning so that’s what I’ll blame for now…slept really crappy again last night and it is so disappointing since I thought I’d figured it out…oh, well…did talk to my daughter for a quite a while and I am happy it was not a cocktail night…found out that my youngest son and his girlfriend bought a house and that is so cool…glad to see they are moving on an making great lives for themselves…..I am still dripping from the run out for groceries and it was raining so hard at times when I was in Meijers you could barely hear inside the building….that was cool, too…not much to do today…I do need to work out and then make a run to harbor freight to get a c-clamp to change out the brakes next week…from that point, just going to make tacos for lunch and then kind of veg for the aft…..more later…

Well…it was a pretty low key day yesterday with not getting any sleep and then having to make up for it….last night was a little different with taking something for my allergies and sleeping okay…I’ll have to check to see if it has the same ingredients as the OTC sleep aid that I sometime use…all I know is that I wasn’t choking all night and could breathe…other than that, it was an almost all veg day yesterday but I did get the bike ride in in the morning and am going to try to do the same thing today….it looks like it’s supposed to rain in the aft so that’s the only plan….it looks like I’ll have some cash coming in today so that is making me smile a little and there may be hh with T and then out for a couple with G after that so today will be somewhat busy compared to normal…and I will try to come back for another one later….my back seems to be much better over the past week or so and I just noticed it….the pain had been here so long that I had gotten used to it but it is so cool that I can get up and move around without wincing….

Well…it was a disappointing day yesterday…was supposed to have some cash coming in that didn’t happen and then sleep last night was a nightmare of tossing, turning, and choking that kept me awake most of the night…must have only gotten about three hours and I will be paying for it all day today….I did get some work done on the car before it started to rain…I don’t think the headlights had ever been cleaned since they were so coated with dirt and grime…and I continued removing the excess wax that is everywhere…finally found a screw to put the sun visor back on…only took two trips to the hardware store…not much to do today…with being really broke today, I just have to hang out here and try to get motivated enough to do something…that is going to be a hard one but what can you do? more later…..

Well…it was a day yesterday and I still haven’t gotten out on the bike in a while…I think it’s been over a week…did get out for about a mile yesterday but I am just not going into a 20 mile an hour wind anymore…and, I didn’t come back for a second one yesterday but is that any surprise for a Sunday? I did take the car out for a drive since I needed to get out of here for a while and I had shorts on with the top down…but I’m not ready to get into shorts for the summer yet since it is supposed to be int he 30’s later in the week…slept okay last night but no dreams to speak of…darn….I did make some thick pork chops on the grill and they came out great….not much to do today…going to continue the cleaning and then maybe meet up with G later for a couple….more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I did get a bunch of stuff done around here so I feel good about that…slept okay again last night but I know it was the cocktails and I do need to find a better way….I’m looking out the window right now and I just can’t believe that we are half way through April and it is still snowing…have not had even one day yet where is smells like spring and I am starting to get depressed about that…and the weather has been too crappy to get out on the bike which just adds to the feeling of being cooped up here…and being broke again doesn’t help….but, Man U plays in a few minutes and I have some nice thick pork chops to grill later so that is a good thing…not much to do today…I am going to continue to clean but the day will be quite low key and I’ll be moving with some deliberateness….more later…
