Well….getting an early start today today for some reason…feel a little crappy after a cocktail night but I did break down and run the air early last night…just got tired of being damp and walking on damp carpets…slept okay but again no dreams….I did get a lot done yesterday so I feel okay about that and I’m not sure what is going on today….Tom’s shift might have changed so there may be no pool today but it looks like there may be storms to watch so that will be cool…and then the weather breaks tomorrow…I do have to do another grocery run today but that is about it…more later…

Well…running kind of normal today but barely survived the day yesterday with it being so hot…and the sleep was really crappy again for the same reason…looks like more of the same today but I have lots of stuff to do so we’ll see how that works out…work around here and then out for some errands so it looks like I’m going to skip the workout this morning, get the work done and then get out on the bike….I can always work out tomorrow and sat to make up for it….or maybe just eat veggies and call it good….more later…

Well…running really late again today…I did have to go out for some groceries but I could have done this before….but, the heat is taking a lot out of me and the lack of sleep is not helping…might have to run the air tonight to just dry this place out…it was weird this morning when someone left me a gel seat cover hanging on my door….not sure if I’ll use it or not but it sure was different….I am sitting here at 9:30 and I’m already sweating through my clothes…it’s going to be a hot ride out there and I should get going before it gets too hot….other than that…not much to do today…going to just lay low and try to not dehydrate too much…more later…

Well…as you can see, I didn’t come back for another yesterday…I have an excuse…and you know it…birthday and all of that…had a nice lunch with T and then out to dinner with G and then out for drinks after that so I am worn out today…and not feeling any different so that is a good sign…it is already hot outside (and inside) so it is going to be a chore to get on the bike…after all of the festivities from yesterday…I am looking forward to just having a normal recovery day today and then back at it tomorrow…not much to do today…as I said, just a normal recovery day and I think I will just let the day go as it goes…no ambition for anything else…more later…

Well…the big day is finally here and I am still not sure how I feel about it…I mean, being 60 is okay…I really don’t feel any different than I did yesterday but it is still that I’m not in my fifties anymore…and it feels like the possibilities that were there in my 50’s are gradually going away….slept okay last night but it just doesn’t seem to mean much…okay, not feeling this right now so I’m going over to Kos and do a couple of comments…more later…

Well…I was hoping that this one would be the 2500th one that I’ve done…that would be some kind of cool coincidence..but, it’s not…only 2453 so I guess it’s nothing special…it’s just kind of weird to think that I’m not going to be in my 50’s any more in just a few hours….that is something that I am having a little trouble wrapping my head around….oh, well….I did take the drive down to the Gilmore museum today and it was kind of fun…only had three cars from the club on the drive but it was cool that we had an NA, an NB, and an NC on the drive so it was kind of a rolling show of the evolution of the Miata….other than that, it has been uneventful today….I think I’ll go make the final cocktails as a fifty something….and try not to dread the big 6-0….might even stay up til midnight just to see it come in….who knows?

Well…it’s the last day of my 50’s and I’m not sure how I feel about that…it was an okay day yesterday and I finally won at pool again so that was okay…slept okay but repair dreams again for the car…not sure what that is about but I’m not going to think about it…I may take a drive down to k-zoo today to look at the british cars at the Gilmore museum…the Miata club is even driving down but I’m not sure I am going to go or not…that would mean skipping the bike ride and I’m not sure I want to have that much guilt today….okay…this isn’t really working so I am going to come back later for more…need some more coffee…

Well…it was a long day with lots of traveling in it yesterday but the car was flawless…have to remember to use the sunscreen more since I have a pretty good burn from being in the car for 4 hours….but the dad stuff was successful so that’s a good thing…and got a surprise over there that I am going to have the second one engaged next Friday….I am pretty happy that the kids are all moving on in their lives…makes me smile…slept okay last night and had Miata repair dreams in the early morning that were okay…I did remember the old balled up newspaper trick to get the glass clean in the car and it worked pretty well so I am happy with that….not much to do today….and that one’s true…just the bike ride and cleaning…need to eat more today since I didn’t get to 1,000 cals yesterday and I am going to feel it today….more later

Well…running late again today and there is no reason for it other than I’m just running late today…it was an okay day yesterday and I did get the car cleaned but have to do the windows again…have never had a car that it is so hard to get the film off the windows…and I do need to get it done now since I have to run over to the other side of the state today….no pool today but have some dad responsibilities to take care of…so, I’d better get the bike ride in and get started…want to be over there by noon or so…more later…

Well…sitting here waiting for the coffee to finish so I thought I’d get this done…it was an okay day yesterday and it was fun to get out to have a couple with G…other than that, it was just another boring day here in unemployment land…only four more days until the big one and I have been thinking of doing kind of a countdown thing here…not sure what form that would take but I guess that’s my job to figure it out…slept okay but stayed up late and with the cocktails, I’m running a little slow today…I do need to wash the car but that is about it…no food to cook since I have leftovers…yep, a really, really boring kind of day coming up…more later…
