Well…with the announcement of a 480 million dollar shortfall in tax revenues here in Michigan, all I can say sarcastically is surprise, surprise….I just wonder why tax cuts for the rich and business didn’t do what the repubs here had faith it would do…result in more revenue for the state. It isn’t as if they had any examples of the same tax cut nonsense not working in other states….oh, yes they do….look at any state where the repubs are in control and they used faith-based economics…like Arizona, Kansas, Louisiana or Texas where they used the fully discredited theories of Arthur Laffer and his supply side economic nonsense and the same damn thing happened…tax revenues fell drastically putting the budgets of all of those states in free fall so they have all had to decimate even basic services that people pay for….and now we see the same damn thing in Michigan and the repubs here are acting all surprised like there is just no way they could have forseen this happening. But, will they learn from this and rescind the tax cuts for business here that have led to no job creation for the 1.8 billion dollar giveaway to business? Of course not…the repubs are the anti science party after all and economics is a science….I just don’t understand why people keep voting for these idiots when they lay waste to every state they control….I’m shaking my head over that one…geez…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done…again…did have a nice lunch with T and she is looking much better after all the health problems she has had over the past few months…slept a little crappy but still feel okay after being good for the second night and that will continue tonight…the pain that I felt in my right forearm is gone today and there is no pain anywhere else so I guess I’ll take that….had a good bike ride yesterday but when is it ever going to get warm enough to go out without a sweatshirt? I have a pork loin sitting in a new marinade that I can’t wait to try later today after I run some errands and make a little cash….not much to do today…I have to wash the car again since it looks like I was parked under a tree full of birds in the Sahara desert and I can’t see through the windows…going to do that right now before I start working out or ride the bike…more later….
More Benghazi…
Well…how much is it going to take for the idiot Trey Gowdy to give up his witch hunt on Benghazi? After spending 20 million dollars of our money over the past two years, there is just nothing new that hasn’t been discovered in the previous 8 investigations and even the counsel to ole Trey’s committee said the other day that there was nothing that could have been done that wasn’t…that there was no secret plan to let the 4 Americans die for some reason and there was no culpability for Hillary in any of it. As we all know, this has been a staged witch hunt from the start to score political points and to try to keep Hillary from being elected….I think the repubs should reimburse the American people for the 20 million since they have admitted it’s partisan purpose….this from the party of limited government and torture….geez…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I didn’t get much done…again…I did find a new marinade recipe for pork loin that I am going to try today and let it set in the fridge until I cook it tomorrow…slept pretty crappy last night with being good but I did find that using earplugs make my congestion worse for some reason….so, I think I’ll try a few days without them….had really bad pain in the top of my right forearm that I thought was going to be the pain for the summer but it is better today and I’m not sure what the heck is going on…..just an overall stiffness that is in my neck and entire upper body today that was pain yesterday so maybe it’s getting better….not much to do today…going to have lunch with T and then back here to watch the last Man U game….and I am going to clean some today to get a start on the kitchen…more later….
Trump and his taxes…
Well…I know I said I wasn’t going to write much more about ole Donald but I just read a little tidbit about his taxes that I just had to comment on…as you know…Donald is refusing to release his tax returns using every lie in the book to keep from doing it and there just might be a real reason for him not releasing them….in his NY state return, he took a tax credit that can only be used by someone making less than 500K a year…so, either he is lying about his huuuuge amount of money he supposedly makes, or he is committing tax fraud by taking this credit that he is not entitled to. One other reason could be that he has such good lawyers that he is not paying any taxes which would not look good, either, just making him another rich asshole who doesn’t pay his fair share….any one of the reasons should be enough to disqualify him from being president…but, the repub base just doesn’t care if he is a liar and tax cheat, he is still ‘the Donald” and I guess being a celebrity is all the qualifications you need on the right….geez…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done but laundry…slept okay last night but am moving a little slow today and that’s okay….I earned it after the cocktail night last night….after two days off the bike, I am not sore anywhere so I think I’ll go out today and make my legs sore again….need a good hard ride to make up for skipping….I do need to wash the car since it has a bullseye on it from almost all the birds in the world and it looks like no rain for a while….I do have a sports one to do today and another one on ole Trump’s lying about his income but that will be for later…not much to do today…going to wash the car and the normal stuff today but that is about it….more later…
Trump is just not too bright…
Well….was just reading some online news that confirmed what everyone should know…that ole Donald is just not too bright…and the piece of news? That Sarah Palin is on his short list for vice president….yep, the idiot half-term governor is considered to be qualified to be VP by Donald and that one piece of information should disqualify him from ever being considered for president…I am just shaking my head that ole sister Sarah, the two bit, bar fighting grifter would be considered qualified for anything…the debates would be interesting and a laugh riot but being VP is supposed to be serious business…this just shows how far the repubs have fallen….what a frickin joke…..geez….

Well…it was an okay but wasted day yesterday and I feel a little guilty about it….just didn’t feel well most of the day but I feel okay today…there was ice on the car this morning and that is just wrong for the middle of May….where the heck is spring? Just haven’t seen much of one so far this year…maybe this week? Slept okay last night and woke up with no soreness since I skipped the bike ride yesterday and I think I may do the same today…only supposed to be around 50 today and I just don’t want to be cold anymore…and, I’ll have to wait until after the final Man U game today that comes on at 10….so right now, the F1 race is on and I want to watch it so I think I’ll go back to the couch….not much to do today…going to clean a little but that is about it…..more later….
No politics…
Well…you know, the politics on the right have become so absurd that I just can’t bring myself to talk about it right now…but, I do need to do another one today so I think I’ll just wing it again and see what happens…started to feel okay about an hour ago and I think part of it was not eating yesterday since the feeling better coincided with lunch and I have been trying to eat almost continually all day…one huge disheartening thing that happened today was frickin snow…in the middle of May here and I can’t remember it snowing this late in the year in my lifetime and that is a really long time…I think it was a good choice to skip the bike ride today…oh, I think part of my feeling lousy is a cold or something since I have been coughing and feeling warm all day…and no energy so maybe I can convince myself that is the problem and not my being stupid yesterday….but, not eating makes me feel warm, too, so who knows….okay…that’s enough for now…there is a race on and the couch is calling my name….more later….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I won at pool so that was cool…but, it was just too long of a day and I feel pretty crappy today…and part of that is I only had one meal and have been under on calories all week…have to stop that soon so I think I’ll have some toast with honey for breakfast….slept okay but feel like I need a nap already so I think I’ll give that a try this aft…it was nice to have the top down out and back to pool but I am getting to the point that I need to even out the raccoon eyes that I am getting from both the bike and the car…but that won’t be today since it is only going to be 46 and I may even skip the bike ride to take a maintenance day for my legs…not much to do today…should clean but I think I’ll just recover from yesterday all day….more later….
