Well…I just laughed my ass off a few minutes ago when I read that some poor trumpistas were so offended by Roger Waters and his savage attack on the idiot trump at his concert in Kansas City last night, that they walked out…I’m still laughing at that…now, have none of these people ever seen Roger Waters? They do know “The Wall” is one of the strongest attacks on fascism and the establishment in rock history, don’t they? Did they expect that he wouldn’t attack the bloated idiot that represents the worst of greed, thuggery, and ignorance in our country? Oh, and they freaked out when some kids came on the stage in “Resist” t-shirts when he did “Another brick in the Wall”…I wonder what their next complaint will be? That their first amendment rights were violated by having to hear something that was true? Poor babies….oh, and the concert is out on you tube if you want to see it….melt snowflakes, melt….

Well…with the debacle of a trip that the idiot trump had last week, I have to agree with Angela Merkle….the US is not seen as a world leader anymore…and she added that Europe will have to go it alone since they can no longer depend on the US. This appears to be exactly the script that Putin wrote…to split Europe away from the US and by electing the idiot boy, sideline the US in the struggle for world power…and this was further emphasized by Russia deepening it’s ties with Italy just this past week. Most analysts thought that trump was actually working for the Russians since his atrocious behavior in Europe did nothing but help Putin by driving a wedge between the US and Europe…and came close to destroying the alliance that has kept the peace in Europe for more than 70 years. I wonder if this is “Making America Great Again”? Probably in the idiot trumps eyes but not in the world’s. I am astounded that this idiot took our world leadership and completely destroyed it in 4 months…and the destruction continues….impeach…
30,000 miles….
Well…with getting to 954 miles for the year on the bike this morning, that makes it 30,000 miles on the Motobecane….I think I’ll keep riding it until the rear swingarm falls off…maybe the new goal should be 50K? I did have some parts that wore out over the past 5,000 miles:
1 rear shift cable
2 rear tires
3 rear tubes
1 front tire
and a pair of Asics gel running shoes…
May 30th
Well…now I’m sore from the good bike ride yesterday and I will have to take ibuprofen this morning….it was kind of a boring day yesterday and I didn’t get anything done…and I don’t feel bad about it…I should, but I don’t….I do think I’ll clean some around here today and then get more resumes out….what a boring day this is shaping up to be….just like yesterday….oh, well….I should work on the car…okay…not feeling this at all right now so I think I’ll stop here and come back later to add to it….more later…
Just some thoughts…
Well….with this being another day of boredom….I just thought I’d noodle here a bit to get me into the night…I may have fixed the handbrake on the car…almost at least…it releases some of the time the first time and if not, I just give it a little tug and it releases fine….I do need to get back into the driver’s side with the penetrating oil but I think I may have to do the bushings again since the car squeaked when I sat in it going to wash it today….had to do that when I first got it with the front so I guess I should do the back bushings now…had a great bike ride today and I’m not really sore…it was so much fun just blasting around with it…made me feel like I did when I was a kid….and lots of people waved at me on the trail today…that always lifts my spirits some….I was going to do some political stuff today but didn’t out of respect for memorial day….but, I will be back tomorrow with all of the crap the freak in the WH did today…..

May 29th
Well….running a little early today since I didn’t sleep much last night…that’s turning into a thing and I know I don’t like it….didn’t do much yesterday but watch races and use the grill for the last time…smoked a bunch of salmon and then re froze it but that will be it…need to give the tank back to Brian this week but that will be in a couple of days…my back was sore again yesterday and it is starting the day with a little twinge that I hope doesn’t get worse…not going to do much today, either, should clean and I may do the bathroom and vacuum…but I need more coffee first and to just ease into the day….more later….
Middle schoolers get it…
Well….Just wanted to do a short one on something that I read that made me smile today…the idiot Paul Ryan was at a middle school in New Jersey last week where he wanted to use the kids as a prop to push his granny killing agenda…and, guess what happened? More than half of the kids walked out and would not be used to normalize his radical transfer of wealth to the 1%…..so I applaud these kids that know who this fake idiot is and what he is planning on doing to this country…much more aware than I was at that age…..thanks kids…
Memorial Day…..
Well…this one could turn into a rant if I let it…but, I’m not sure if I should…with it being memorial day, I just watched a film about a couple of volunteer nurses that worked with a military doctor in the town of Bastogne during the battle of the bulge and I am just struck by the bravery and sacrifice these two women made…and their dignity doing it…one of them was killed taking care of wounded American soldiers when the Germans bombed the makeshift hospital where she was working and the other was gravely wounded…but she was back on the line the next day, working with the only doctor for the entire division that was defending the town…I see this kind of bravery is still being shown by our military to this day and it makes me howl with anger at the bloated monster who sits in the WH….who thinks he is worthy of being their commander in chief…they deserve better…we deserve better and the world deserves better….impeach….
May 28th
Well….running a little early today with wanting to get this one done before the F1 race starts….feel okay this morning and not too sore….my back cracked again clearing the dishwasher yesterday and I really do need to figure out what motion it is that does it…that may come in handy….didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today will be a complete washout with it being the biggest race day of the year…I do need to wedge a bike ride in after Monaco and before Indy so it will be a short one today…only have about 85 miles left to do to get to 30K….okay….going to get more coffee and watch the race…more later….
