Well…we all know that Trump lies like he breathes, and the disavowing of his “birtherism” is just another one of them….last week, he said that he “believes” that Obama was born in the US…a whole seven seconds in a speech…but that seven seconds doesn’t erase the 6 years of constant attack on the president, the constant racist dog whistles that were lapped up by all repubs and still are…and ole Donald admitted yesterday that his abandoning of his racist birther stance was just expediency….just to get people to stop talking about it…not that he apologized to the president for his many, many slurs over the past 6 years…nope, that won’t happen since he still is a racist piece of shit who still believes all of his own lies about Obama…I think part of this is the fact that Obama has come from nothing and, through hard work and intelligence, has made a difference in the lives of many Americans and has tried to do what is right for the entire country…while Trump was given everything…never had to work for a dime of his supposed “fortune” and has done everything in his life for one person…Trump…and has hurt thousands of people as he cut his path of damage across this country….I detect some jealousy there…after all, how could any minority do better than Trump? Trump is just one pissed off little boy trying to look like a man and failing at it…and it couldn’t happen to a worse person…geez…

Well…I hope this morning is not as busy as yesterday…was out on the bike before 8 to beat the storms and went as hard as I could for 12 miles but I am feeling that today…my left lower back has been screaming at me since I got off the bike yesterday but I think it may be getting better…at least I hope it is…have already done the grocery run this morning and didn’t get anything since my freezer is filled and I’m not sure where I’m going to put the chicken I bought yesterday…but, how can you pass up legs at 49 cents a pound? Made another pork loin with the slow foil method yesterday and I think I’ll never make it any other way…but, I may change up the rub and go with more garlic and thyme next time…the bbq taste is cool but I think I want to try to see what else will work….I do need to get some work done around here today and it looks like I’ll have to choose between the bathroom and kitchen since I won’t do them both….or won’t do either…not too motivated but feel pretty good after being good last night….more later….
What does it take to disqualify Trump?
Well….you really need to read about the Trump foundation in the articles done by David Farenthold from the Washington Post where he reveals that the foundation is not a charity foundation at all, but a private slush fund that Trump has been using for personal gain, illegally. Payments to political organizations to go after the NY AG who is going after the fraudulent Trump University, buying portraits of himself to hang in his hotels, and to pay off lawsuits are just a few of the illegal things that Trump is still using his foundation for…now my question is…where are the IRS and FEC and why aren’t they doing their jobs to bring this criminal to justice? To show you just how crooked the Donald is, he held a golf tournament at one of his golf courses that had a hole in one contest that paid out a million dollars to anyone who got one. Well…of course Donald had to rig it….in the contact, it stated that the hole in one had to be of at least 150 yards…so what did Donald do? He made sure that the tees were at 149 yards so that he could renege on the contract if someone won….the problem was that a rich guy won and sued him for the million dollars…the suit was settled and where do you think the 150K to settle it came from? Yep, another illegal payment from the Trump Foundation…now, with the way that the media is letting Trump get away with all of his lies and fraud, I am truly starting to believe what Trump said…that he could stand on Fifth Avenue and shoot someone and people would still vote for him…what a sad state of affairs….geez…
September 21st
Well…it’s the first day of fall and I’m running late again…had to get the bike ride in before I did this since there are going to be storms most of the day and I couldn’t miss the day…felt pretty crappy this morning after meeting up with T for a couple and then with G for a couple more….I did make some cash yesterday so I now have grocery money for the next couple of weeks and that takes a load off….okay, this one is going to be short since I want to get over to Aldi’s before it rains and I need to shower…back in a few….okay…I’m back…wanted to get out and get some cheap food before the storms and I just made it….now I’m just waiting for it to start…have another part of a pork loin in the oven to cook low and slow for at least 5 hours and I started that at around 7 or so…man, have gotten a bunch of stuff done already and it’s only 9:30…I do need more coffee and to read some news so I’ll end here….more later…
Snyder’s abuse of power…
Well…here we go again…the repubs here in Michigan are abusing their power and rigging the system so Flint can’t make sure the state lives up to it’s responsibility to fix the damage done there by the emergency manager and the Snyder administration. As a little backstory, I’m sure you know that cost savings measures put in place by the Snyder administration led to the poisoning of Flint’s water supply and millions of dollars of damage to the water infrastructure there. To ensure that there would actually be a fix in place and not just talk, which is all we have ever gotten from Snyder, the city of Flint filed a notice of a lawsuit that would do just that…that would force the state to fix the damage that was done…but, as always with the repubs here in Michigan, they are rigging the system so that Flint can’t sue by changing the rules that requires that any suit has to be approved by a Snyder appointed board…yeah, that’s right, any suit that would hold Snyder responsible has to go through a new Snyder appointed board…now, how likely is it that any suit would be approved by Snyder’s cronies? It’s just another example of how the repubs here are abusing their power to protect their asses and not the people….we need to vote these guys out of office this fall and start making sure that Michigan has a functioning democracy again…not a third world government run by cronyism and lies…geez…

Well….I’m sure I don’t like feeling sore all the time but I’m not sure what to do about it…forgot to take ibuprofen before the bike ride yesterday and that hurt me all day….the bike is getting weirder and weirder…the pedal arm started out with a little looseness but as the ride went on, it tightened up and the annoying little pop went away…yeah, not sure how that works, either, but we’ll see how that works out this morning….it looks like a busy day today with lots of stuff to do around here and then meeting up with T this aft for a couple…will make a little cash today so there will be groceries again but I really don’t need anything…have to start emptying out the freezer since it is full and I do like to have a little room in case there is venison….okay, need to do some work on the bike before I get out and I need more coffee so I’ll end here….more later….

Well….I wonder if you have been paying attention to the asinine, dangerous crap that has been spewing out of Trumps mouth for…okay, forever….and yesterday, in the aftermath of the bombing in NYC, he let another mouth fart go…blaming the first amendment for the bombing…yeah, I know, just reading about his torturous logic make my head hurt, too, but bear with me….his reason for blaming the first amendment is that magazines and newspapers have instructions for making bombs in them and he would arrest the people running the mags since they are “accomplices”….and any website that had anything he didn’t like…arrest them, too…even though it is illegal to do…this is what the repubs have given us…the first candidate who waves the constitution with one hand and the wants to shred it with the other….now, who else thinks this is disqualifying? Yeah, I know, it really doesn’t matter what Trump says…he is the first post truth, post knowledge candidate that over 40% of the country says they’ll vote for….I knew there were lots of stupid people in this country, but not this many…geez…

Well…another Sunday, another wasted day and I’m not sure how I feel about that…and I feel pretty crappy today so I am having a hard time getting going….there were lots of sports on yesterday so I am going to blame my malaise on that….I am so tired of Man U being crappy so I think I’m going to give up on them for a while…I mean, losing to frickin Watford? Oh, well….and the new bolt for the pedal arm didn’t work so I don’t even want to get on the bike anymore….one cool thing…two actors on two shows that I like won emmys last night Rami Malek and Tatiana Maslany won for Mr. Robot and Orphan Black and that is really cool…not sure if it validates my liking the shows…but, I never need that anyway…..okay…I need more coffee and to get caught up on the news…more later….
Oh, my daughter turns 39 today….I still remember the day she was born….yep, I’m old….
September 18th
Well….didn’t get a damn thing done yesterday…that’s not really true…I did make a great pork loin…did a dry rub, wrapped it in foil, and cooked it at 275 for 5 1/2 hours…just the most tender thing I’ve ever made…and, I did get out and get a new bolt for the pedal arm on the bike with a lock washer under the head just to see it that will help….not sure what happened to make it continuously come loose and I hope this fixes it….not sure what I’m going to do today but watch the F1 race that is on right now and Man U who is stinking up the place and are behind at the half….I forgot the Lions are playing today, too so that will give me something to do later….okay, want to see the race so I’ll end here…more later…
The NRA can go to hell…
Well….just saw an add by the fricking NRA that basically says that if Hillary is elected, everyone is going to die by crininals since she will take away everyone’s guns….and that is just such a huge lie that it pisses me off….not once has Hillary or anyone else on the left said they are going to “take away people’s guns”…they do say that some sensible gun regulation is needed…like background checks that over 80% of the American people support and only the guns everywhere crazies are against. But, when did the truth ever matter to the right and the NRA? Never….I think the NRA should be labeled a terrorist organization since they and their guns everywhere crap is responsible for many more deaths in the US every year than all of the terrorists attacks that have ever happened on US soil….that is the definition of terror…geez…
